Beautiful spacious home with ample room for all my family!! Downstairs was a gorgeous bedroom with a huge closet where my grandbaby slept in his specially designed infant tent!! That was perfect for him! "The kids all loved the bunk room with the cute animals. The other two upstairs bedrooms were beautifully decorated as well as the entire house.. The antique orange dresser was a big hit!! GREAT!!

We had a great family vacation with 9 people (4 adults, 4 kids, and a baby) for a long weekend. The house looks like the photos (it is beautiful, and love the back decks) and had plenty of space for our group. We greatly appreciated having a high chair for the baby and the toys and games in the house. The kitchen is very well appointed. We did have some trouble with the electronic front door lock on our last full day. I was able to get ahold of the owner, but still wasn’t able to get it working. I’m sure that was fixed after our stay.

Great place for our family. Hosts were easy to communicate with. Check-in was very easy! My only suggestion would be to get some furniture/chairs for patio area downstairs. We sat on ice chests & low beach chairs while little ones played outside in the evening.

My family and I did a quick weekend getaway and this house was absolute perfection. From the little details of bows created out of the toilet paper roll, to the fully stocked shed with beach toys, beach chairs and even a surprise basketball hoop that the teenagers enjoyed! The pictures truly do not give this place justice and is bigger than what the pictures show. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. I was worried about the stairs to the second level because of my almost 2 year old, but my daughter showed me the pocket door and it just made the weekend THAT much better! To not have to worry about fighting him from going up the stairs eased this mamas mind and I was able to relax a little bit more. The conditioner, shampoo and body wash stocked in the bathrooms was an awesome addition. The pantry stocked with spices was a huge help! The beach was a short drive, too long for us to walk to in this scorching Texas heat. Our second day we found the public beach where we could drive our cars right on it, it’s a short drive out of the neighborhood. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend this lovely home!

We had a great time at Pirates Beach! The house is newer and was decorated beautifully—by far the most thoughtfully decorated vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in. The house was appointed with everything you could need—they even had bug spray and aloe for sunburns. The beach was easy to get to in about 10 minutes with some slow walking kiddos, and we had the beach completely to ourselves a lot of the time. It was a short drive to Pleasure Pier and there are a few shops just a 2-3 min drive away if you forget anything. We did have an issue with ants in the kitchen, but they were very communicative and had a handyman lay down ant bait outside the property. A few things we loved: As others mentioned, there is a pocket door to close off the stairs. This was great for our crawling baby so we didn’t have to worry about the stairs! There is a basketball hoop and basketball downstairs. Beds were comfy and linens are very nice. A few things to note: There isn’t a king sized bed anywhere. But the downstairs queen was very comfortable! They do not have a high chair or pack n play so make sure to bring your own. Great house!

Location was perfect for celebrating my wife's birthday with all the kids. This house has every amenity you need. Everything as advertised. Games, chairs, kites, sand castle tools, and more. Only a short walk to a quiet beach. Awesome comminity. Will stay here again.

I think it is larger than it appears in the photos with big bedrooms and even a closet off the master bath that is large enough for a quiet area for a pack-n-play or pallet. It is well stocked with all kinds of things in the kitchen, outside shed, and garage. It's nice too that it has a good size, grassy yard area for playing and relaxing after the beach. We really enjoyed this property!
