The owner contacted me by telephone to give me directions to the property. He also left some groceries for us. We have booked future dates as this is an excellent property and would recommend it to anyone

Great location for centre of Merthyr access. Clean warm and comfortable. Staff were very great and food at associated chip shop very tasty.

Flat ideal size for what we required, toast, butter and tea making facilities on arrival

Location not fantastic but not a lot can be done about that

Self catering…. Breakfast not included, but the “ busy bee fish bar and cafe “ food looked good

Could have had curtains in the bedrooms… not just vertical blinds, as there are street lights outside in the street which are bright.

Great value, well set up, very comfortable beds.

Street noise loud but okay with windows closed to front.

We had a wonderful stay at the Bee Hive, Mark greeted us and handed over the keys and gave us some tips about where to go and local sites. The facilites were great and better than the photos suggested. The treats in the kitchen were a nice touch! Thanks Mark :)

Only downside were the matresses were a bit thin and the springs stuck out a bit. Only a very minor thing though.

The property was great and we really enjoyed our stay. The pictures don't do it justice - it is a magnificently large space with everything we needed including parking, a washing machine and tumble dryer, bike storage, a large lounge that was good for socialising, and really close to town and Bike Park Wales. The host was lovely and met us with the keys at a time that suited us as we were riding that day. When we arrived, there were Welsh cakes, bread, butter, and milk... Thank you so much!
