Came back as we enjoyed our first stay last year. Well stocked kitchen and house. The front porch was comfortable in the morning to have coffee and see flowers and hear birds. We really liked the gardens as well. Location is close to Asheville but without city traffic. Good location over all. Hosts were friendly and available for local info. Plus it was dog friendly!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the 1850s cabin. It was very clean and comfortable for the two of us and our small dog and had all the amenities that we needed. We also enjoyed walking the grounds and meeting and talking with the owners several times during the week. They were very respectful of our privacy, however, but we enjoyed our conversations with them and learning the history of the cabin and main house.
The cabin was very convenient to Weaverville and Asheville. We liked the small town vibe of Weaverville better, though, and the small breweries and very good bakery in town.
Thanks for your hospitality and promptly mailing some clothes back to me that I forgot in the dresser. Andy, Missy and Frisco!

A very charming cabin with lots of room, large living room with nice antique furnishings throughout. Well stocked kitchen with everything you would need to make your meals. The modern bathroom is wonderful with washer and dryer in this space as well. Met the host and her husband they are very friendly and welcoming to us. Our dog Sallie had plenty of room to explore and do her business. Definitely will book a stay here again.

We chose this location to be near Asheville but not downtown. Easy access Asheville activities. Very comfortable and well equipped. We liked the information sheets on local restaurants and the area in general. It was beautiful warm and cozy. We felt at home which says a lot. Will stay there again when we visit Asheville in the future.

This adorable log cabin exceeded our expectations. Very peaceful and quiet with close proximity to lots of hiking, restaurants and breweries in Weaverville and Asheville. Our puppy loved exploring the grounds and going on adventures all weekend. The Glass Onion is located in downtown Weaverville and was one of the best meals we had the entire trip. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back again!

This charming cabin is 1/2 historic and 1/2 very modern. The kitchen, bath and bedroom are all in the modern side and it is top-notch. The bed is very comfortable and the bird feeder right outside the bedroom window was a pleasant surprise. Sitting on the porch with our dog, watching birds and hearing no traffic while admiring the garden was we just what we needed for this mountain getaway.
