This is our second time staying for Clarkson parents weekend. Very convenient and we loved the hot tub and fire pit. Highly recommend!!

Really enjoyed our stay at Beth’s Place II. The location was perfect and the accommodations were as well. Beth was very responsive and knowledgeable. We will definitely stay here again.

This was perfect for a long weekend after we dropped off our son at college. It was very comfortable and clean. We even walked down to the river and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Beth offered just the right amount of communication and is very helpful! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Beth's place is exactly what is advertised. A great modern, clean home with all the amenities. Because of the rain we weren't able to get out on the water because of flooding, but having the firepit, igloo and hot tub we didn't even miss it. We will definitely be back again!

The place was very clean. Seems to have been done or remodelled recently, as everything seems new. Quiet place, stayed for a week. Well equipped kitchen with some spices and cooking supplies. Very close to Clarkson. Price Chopper or Walmart/Aldi are close.

Near college where I was attending a reunion. So much better than a hotel room.

This property was awesome! The apartment was spotless when we arrived. There is a really nice view of the river. The walkway to get to the small beach area is a little steep but there is a railing along the way that helps a lot. Our fire pit/hot tub area was very private and perfectly cozy. We stayed here at the same time as other guests but we wouldn’t have even known they were there. The igloo is so cool, really nice to read a book and enjoy the outside. The bathroom was stocked with everything you could need and the bed was very comfortable. Less than a 5 minute drive to restaurants/grocery stores. We will be back here for sure!

Stayed at Beth’s Place II for the weekend. Perfect location for any of the colleges and is just far enough away on the river to enjoy peace and quiet. Beth kept in touch each day and was always ready to answer questions. Kayaking is a must, some rocky areas and a little bit of current but manageable. The place was perfect for the 3 of us with my son loving the Murphy bed. All the amenities you could ask for and more. I will definitely recommend to all! Thank you Beth and Jim!

My family of 4 (11 and 13 year old boys) had a wonderful long weekend at Beth's Place II. We were searching for a place where we could unwind before heading back to school and this was perfect. We spent a ton of time kayaking on the river, fishing both from the dock and the kayaks (catching many), putting golf balls and relaxing by the fire pit and hot tub. Enough to keep us busy for our entire stay. We even had a bald eagle visit us while fishing one day. The entire place both inside and out was spotless and like new. Even the gas grill was impeccably clean. The beds were all comfortable. Beth and Jim were perfect hosts - friendly and accommodating but not overbearing. We even took Beth up on her offer to show us the ropes of kayaking and navigate the tricky spots of the river near the City of Potsdam. The hill to the water is steep but not terrible - you just want to make sure you bring everything with you and not make any unnecessary trips if you can help it. Rental was in great location. Kayaks available to check out Raquette river. Very clean! Would stay again in in the area.

Very relaxing and quiet property. In a very convenient location but also out far enough that you feel like your not right in potsdam. The hot tub was a hit but just wish it was not such a very steep hill to the water access. The picture looks like a private beach but we were not able to swim it. Overall our stay was very relaxing!

We had a great week at Beth and Jim's place. Beautiful, clean, quiet, and Beth and Jim were great hosts, even fuming us a battery jump when we were leaving!! We highly recommend this location. 5 stars!!

My best friend and I stayed here for a girls getaway. This place was fabulous!! Beth and Jim have every detail imaginable covered. There was more “extra” stuff that even most hotels don’t provide. It is super clean and the beds were comfortable. We spent 2.5 hours kayaking, enjoyed the hot tub, and had take out delivery. We would definitely stay here again.

My family stayed at this property for Easter. It was set up perfect for visiting. We sat in the igloo and talked, checked out the little putting area and explored by the river. The apartment was stocked with items to make a small meal.We had a wonderful time together. I’m sure we will be back!

Beth’s Place 2 was great! Stayed for a short weekend and had complete privacy. Beth sent me an e-mail making sure everything was ok while there and had the place immaculate! Highly recommend staying here for a private get away!

It was a very relaxing weekend. It rained alot but the apartment was cozy and the view was wonderful. I will be going back again hopefully better weather. The igloo was neat too. Thank you Beth for a nice stay.

Beth has worked very hard to make a clean and comfortable place for her guests. And while the room had sufficient instructions and suggestions for our time in Potsdam Beth also made herself incredibly available. Hot tub was in a nice secluded space with easy to follow directions. Fantastic spot close to town!

Beth's Place was everything it said it was going to be. It was very relaxing, quaint, and quiet! The apartment was clean, had everything we needed. When the fridge broke, Beth and Jim replaced it within an hour of us letting them know, and Beth also went grocery shopping to replace what we lost. They were beyond accommodating. Beth also offered to kayak us up through town to show us around. Keyless entry made it super easy to get in and out, with no worries about losing a key! I would highly recommend staying with them if you find yourself wanting to go to the Adirondacks. Their place is close to downtown, there is great fishing, and kayaking. Lake Placid is only 90 minutes away and makes for a wonderful day trip!

Beth’s place II is a great place to stay when in Potsdam. It’s not far from town and is so peaceful. The location is beautiful and the apartment looks like it came right out of a catalog. I would stay here again!

It was so clean and very modern. Quiet town but pretty. The property was so nice and a lot to do. Would stay again!

Beautifully decorated rental with private hot tub and fire-pits supplied with wood, chairs and outdoor festive lighting. Kayaks are also available and my husband and I chose a tandem and paddled to downtown Potsdam. Highly recommend and priced right!

Beth & Joe were welcoming, but not overbearing hosts. The property was classy & spotless with everything you needed. We kayaked to town (kayaks provided) and Beth not only met us with new water shoes, but offered to be our guide to navigate a tricky part of the river! We golfed on the putting green and relaxed in the hot tub. The beds & pillows were comfortable, including the Murphy bed and excellent shower! There’s even pizza delivery available. We will definitely return and have already recommended to friends! 5 stars, no hesitation!

My oldest son graduated from SUNY Potsdam this year. We normally stayed at the local hotel in the past, but I decided to go out of my comfort zone and look on VRBO....so glad I did! We had 4 in our group and Beth's Place 2 fit all of our needs! If you need more amenities than was listed...Beth's place is right next door! The description was exact! Very clean. Very private. Very relaxing! My youngest is still going to school at Clarkson...I will be staying at Beth's Place(1or2!) Next time I am there!

My wife & I can not thank Beth enough for everything she did to make our son’s graduation weekend at Clarkson perfect! She was very accommodating & was happy to let us have family & friends over for a pre-graduation cookout & even had the fire pit set up for us. At the end of the evening it was so nice to relax in the hot tub. The apartment was beautifully decorated & fully stocked with everything we needed. Our only regret was we didn’t find Beth’s place before our son graduated because we would have stayed at Beth’s place every time we visited. Thank you Beth for making our son’s graduation absolutely perfect!

The property was absolutely beautiful! Came with everything we needed for the weekend! We booked a weekend girls trip, and we can’t wait to book another in the summer here! Beth and her husband were so friendly and they were there when we had questions and concerns!

Staying at Beth’s was exactly what we needed. The private apartment and private outdoor space were immaculate and full of amenities. We were able to ski at Titus 45 minutes away and come back to a kitchen, hot tub, and fire pit. Beth has a great guide for what to do in the area that I recommend asking for early to help you plan.
