I’m still on cloud nine from our weekend In Wimberley and staying at Frog Cottage. This was our second stay at the property and I could not have been more pleased with the experience. The house is ideal and located within walking distance of downtown Wimberley. The property the house is on is out of a dream -deer grazed on the lawn in the morning light. Hawks flew over head at dusk. I would never imagine staying anywhere else when in Wimberley. Can’t wait to go back!

Our stay was great! Location was a 5 min walk to the square! Place was clean and had a great view. For us it was perfect as far as price, location, privacy, and amenities. Will return when it gets warmer to enjoy the river.

Very nice cabin, lots of room and windows to let the beauty of Wimberley in. Very close to the square, but hidden in the woods.

Oh I love this house. Its not that far from Wimberly, Right on the Blanco river. And everything about this house is so beautiful ,the decorations ,the way the house was set up .Away from the city and the noise. And had no problem communication with renter. Love the deck thats were we were at most of the time lol.Will be coming again and hopefully this cute little charming house will be available .Loved seeing the deer in the morning come through the yard to.Thank yall again for letting us stay

Great place would stay there again. Master bathroom the ledges all need to be cleaned very dusty cobwebs killed 2 spiders cob webs under sink. Under the bed is dirty. Some if the screens outside have a lot of cobwebs just needs to be brushed off with a broom. There was a bowl under sink in kitchen with some pods hope they were for the dishwasher there was no lable It may say under the description of the property about deer. They are everywhere and beautiful but I think people probably need to be told they are there and to watch for them when driving down the drive way because they will jump out in front of your car. Would have been nice to have a throw blanket or two in living room Master bed needs a foam topper bed pretty hard Thank you

Nice cottage and great location to town, shopping, restaurants. The patio cushions could use cleaning but overall the place was nice and enjoyable.

Our stay was perfect! The house is exactly like the pictures and had everything we needed. We loved the location and enjoyed spending time on the deck. We’ll definitely be back again!

A quick stay for a weekend wedding in Dripping Springs! The property was as advertised and we will be back asap hopefully with more time to fully appreciate it!

We all enjoyed our weekend stay so very much! The location is great for shopping in town but with the beautiful yard and river it was too nice to leave! We loved the decor and the cozy house also! We are planning another visit soon.

Located within walking distance of town, this was the perfect spot. Although rivers were dry there’s a spring fed swimming hole behind the property. Made for a great weekend.

Stayed with my Mom and 3 sisters at the Frog Cottage for a quick trip to get away and enjoy the cute little town of Wimberley. From the moment we drove up, we were awed with the beauty of the surroundings and privacy. The best part of this cottage is the gorgeous large backyard backing up to the Blanco River! The old, huge trees are beautiful and provide lots of shade to be able to sit out on the big deck and enjoy the views of the river and the family of deer that visits each day. The gentle sloping lawn allows for easy access to the river. While waters levels are low right now, we got lucky because the river area in the back of the cottage has a deep swimming hole, as well as shallow areas to rest in. The cottage itself was very clean and cool and felt very cozy and safe. The comfortable beds were also a plus! The town square is close, but there are no sidewalks to get there, so sneakers are recommended in order to walk there. Be sure to bring water shoes and noodles to float on in the river. Great getaway!

Love the location of the cottage, seconds from the square. We walked in and the cottage was cool and clean. Very cozy and relaxing cottage. My little family and I will definitely be back again.

Great location and perfect for a family getaway!

Two of my life-long friends met me at Frog Cottage to celebrate my birthday. The house and location were perfect. Beautiful decor, comfy beds, and a great river front view. We sat on the deck for hours in the morning with our coffee and again in the evening. Very relaxing stay! I hope to be back.

We had a great time and the river access was wonderful. We really enjoyed the house and the proximity to the town.

If you’re going to Wimberley this is the home you must rent. Located just off the Main Street in downtown Wimberley you get the best of both worlds- ability To walk to everything (although would not recommend at night in the dark) and the feeling of being on the river and worlds away from it all. The home was thoughtfully decorated and had everything we could need. The property is incredible- the view of the river and the space around is just gorgeous. I will definitely be going back!

2 couples stayed in the Frog Cottage last weekend and it was perfect for us. We enjoyed the fire pit both nights the drive into Wimberley proper was about 2 or 3 minutes and we could have almost walked to the wedding venue we visited at the Water's Point. The management staff was terrific and even helped us with a maintenance request at 5 or 6 o'clock on Friday. My wife commented that she would like to come back in the hot weather when we can actually get in the river, which we were right in front of. Beautiful property, perfect decor, and excellent location. The only recommendation I would make is to decorate a little inside for the Christmas holiday. That would have been the perfect experience!

Property is amazing, so beautiful and feels remote even though you could actually walk to the town square. Everything is as pictured and check in/check out was easy. Would highly recommend and would stay here again!

Super cute cottage with a beautiful, serene backyard and river front. We loved our stay here! Wimberly is still quaint and makes a great peaceful get away for the whole family.

Really cozy, beautiful property on the river. We enjoyed seeing deer around the house in the morning.

We stayed here for a girls’ trip and it was absolutely perfect! Nothing better than waking up to morning coffee on the back patio while watching the deer and enjoying the view of the river! Close to restaurants and shopping in town square! Will definitely be back.

The nearby road is very noisy but you can tone it out after a little while. This property is wonderfully set up and very relaxing. My only recommendation would be that the exterior of the house needs a deep clean.

We stayed 3 nights at the Frog Cottage. It was little hard to locate at first down a private road but once you are there it feels very remote despite being just a very short distance to downtown Wimberley. The house was great, clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. We spent most of our time sitting on the deck looking at the river and the wildlife. We hope to return again soon.

We loved staying here! The property was beautiful and the river was just a short walk away. You feel like you are out in nature, but are so close to the town square. It is the perfect mix of privacy and being around everything. There is a property close to it, but when we stayed there the other place was empty.

Overall we had a fun time at the home. Very cute house and the river below was so relaxing. We changed the number of guests from 5 to 6 after my son was able to come. There is a total of 6 beds. Upon arrival one of the beds had no sheets or linens. We contacted the property company. They responded but with no solution. We looked for sheets everywhere. None were to be found. Not the biggest deal, but paying for a sixth person and not having an adequate bed to sleep in was disappointing. Probably would not say again.

We had a wonderful time with friends in the Frog house. Nice bedrooms and living room. We had everything we needed. We were disappointed the bedroom tv didn’t work and we wished the cleaning crew had hosed off the deck chairs. Loved that there was a washer and dryer. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and watching the wildlife in the river. Thank you, Nell

Frog cottage was spacious and had an interesting layout as if the house had been expanded in stages. Having our own private river access was wonderful. Conveniently close to Wimberly Square. My only concern was the 9-10 cars that showed up immediately next door on our last morning. I don't think it would have been as relaxing with that many people next door.
