Great house, waking distance from the square.

We enjoyed our stay at the charming Stone Cottage. The cottage was so clean and had many extras for the guests. It was the perfect location, only two blocks from the town square, and the 'lake beach' area was across the street. The hosts were very friendly and attentive to their guests. It was such a convenience to be able to walk from the cottage to the square and enjoy the shops and restaurant, especially during wine walk. The cottage was perfect for us who didn’t spend a whole lot some time inside and was very cozy.

We had an amazing girls weekend. Bridgette thought of everything….so many plugs, sound machines, portable fans, bug spray. There was not an inch that wasn’t thoughtfully planned. The house is super cute. The beds and pillows are incredibly comfortable. The walk to the square was so close and easy (we didn’t use our car once we arrived). Highly recommend. And we will be back!!

The Stone cottage was perfect for our girls weekend. The location made for easy access and walk-ability to the square. Everything was so clean! The beds were very comfortable!! The cottage is decorated so lovely. This will definitely be a listing I will return to. We had a wonderful stay!

What a great place to stay! Very nice little cottage--everything we needed, and exactly what was advertised! Also, 1 block from the Granbury square, where everything is happening! Short walk to the beach as well! Property managers were very easy to work with, and checked on us every step of the way--couldn't have gone more smoothly! We already booked a return visit! We loved staying at the stone cottage. It was clean, inviting and cozy. The location is amazing and within quick walking distance for shopping on the square. The beds are comfortable and clean. Every little detail about this place is perfect! The house had everything we needed and more! The hosts are so considerate and kind, and very responsive. The bath tub is so deep and comfortable and never ran out of hot water. 10/10 recommend this for your next trip to Granbury!

We were sorority sisters at one time, but 50 years later we are grandmothers. It’s important for the 3 of us to stay in touch and to spend time remembering the past, enjoying the present, and making new memories. The Stone Cottage provided the ideal place for our gathering. It’s quaint and cozy with comfortable beds and the perfect kitchen table to sit around and reminisce. Located very close to The Square where we enjoyed good food and nice shops. Whether “girls”or “grannies” Granbury is a good destination, and Stone Cottage is a delightful place to stay. We loved the decor!

What a cute house! It was perfect for our group of 4: an easy walk to the square, a short drive to Glen Rose, and everything provided that any guest could need-- perfect from start to finish.

We LOVED our stay here! The location is perfect - a short easy walk from the adorable historic square with great shops and restaurants! The perfect home base for day trips to Fossil Rim and Dinosaur Valley, it was so relaxing to walk to breakfast and dinner from here each day. The house is adorable and perfect for a couple with one or two kids. The hosts were super thoughtful too with the amenities provided! We hope to be back soon.

We loved being close enough to the square that we could walk and even felt safe doing so at night. The cottage was adorable and perfectly sized for our party of 3. The hosts provided ample towels and a well stocked kitchen. The property was clean and in great condition. Thanks for having us!

We love to walk to the town square to shop and eat while on vacation so this was the perfect location. We should have done our research though since numerous shops and eateries were closed on Monday and Tuesday. Oh, well more reason to come back to the quaint cottage and town of Granbury.

Perfect cottage for a girls weekend get a way. The house was perfectly clean and well stocked. The home is beautiful and we enjoyed admiring the decor and updates. Would stay here again!

Before I get into the house, let me say that the hosts were amazing. Communicated very well, provided information about local activities happening during our stay and made us feel very welcome. The house was perfect for the three of us. It was perfectly clean, well decorated and had everything we needed. (Except maybe a few extra blankets - that was only because the weather got so cold on our second night. Heater worked great but could have used one more blanket to curl up in). The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were some of the fluffiest I’ve seen. The kitchen was well stocked and the host had provided bottles of water and a snack basket that is always a nice addition. When at the house we spent most of our time sitting around the kitchen table playing games and talking. The location is perfect for downtown activities. It is only two blocks which means if it is as busy as this weekend you have guaranteed parking. One evening (the real cold evening) we had plan to drive to Ketzlers for dinner since it was very cold. There was so much going on downtown there was no place to park. Ended up dropping my mom off at the restaurant and driving back to the house to park. Walked back to the restaurant and still made it before they sat our party. The Host texted to make sure we arrived and got in ok. Checked on us the 2nd day via text to make sure we didn’t need anything and then the night before we left texted very easy to follow check out instructions. For anyone coming in for a get away weekend I would also like to suggest the following. Make reservations - even for Granbury. Restaurant Anise is so amazing - you will be surprised this little gem is in Granbury. GO THERE!!! Very small and quaint. In a very odd location. Not downtown. Not good for large parties or probably small kids as it is a 2 hour dinner type place. (Be sure to plan for that time when booking your reservation) Only about 12 tables. Menu changes every month. Food is fabulous. Be sure to ask to purchase a jar of the whipped goat cheese w/ honey and a jar of the marinated figs to go - you will be so glad you have more to take home. Christina’s Table located on the square downtown. Great service, wonderful menu and fabulous food. Crab and Goat sandwich on homemade jalapeño bun, lobster roll - closest thing I’ve had to one actually purchase in New England, award winning shrimp and grits. Couldn’t tell you about dessert - ate to much to get that far…

The property was very well-maintained and very clean. This house is not by the lake by the adorable and historic Granbury Square. Nice kitchen. Small space for a small family.

The house is perfectly appointed (kitchen, bath, laundry, etc) all amenities are provided. The location is wonderful for easy walking distance to the square and all it has to offer. Bed and pillows are very comfortable, as is the living area. Highly recommend! Note: don’t miss the haunted walking tour, the jail museum and if you happen to be there on a Friday there might be karioke at Divine wine shop, it’s a great time :)

My friend and I had a girls weekend at The Stone Cottage. It was wonderful! It’s within walking distance to the square and public beach. Very quiet and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided! Loved it and will be back!

Absolutely charming! It is a lovely home that the owners have restored beautifully! My son was in a golf tournament in Glenn Rose and this was the perfect cottage for us to stay for a few days. Great clean home with everything you will need. We stayed here with a Three-year-old so enjoyed the 5-minute walk to the city playground and beach. Also less than 5 minutes to the town square. Communication/CheckIn/Etc was all 10 out of 10.
