My husband and I owned a home in the area for 15 years and have been looking for a rental that we can return to over and over again as we visit the area fairly often. Badger's Den was perfect for us - location is ideal with easy accessibility to all our favorite experiences; private; nice furnishings and all the amenities you could ever want. We decided not to stop at the grocery store for breakfast supplies on our way in and found out when we arrived that the host had provided everything we'd want, no additional purchase required. The gas fire pit on the deck was a really nice addition, as was the Summer house - charming and tranquil and a very special surprise. We'll be back!

The property was outstanding and owners genuine and kind. They thought of everything we could have wanted and provided a great experience for us. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed this place so much. From our little apartment in the trees to the whole property. We daily visited the koi pond, the beautiful summer house and the fairytale waterfall. I imagined fairies everywhere. I can’t describe it as unique as it is. Lots of uphill walking on unsteady ground but we are 76 and 82 and did it. Just go slow and enjoy your surroundings. Sharon, the owner is delightful and answers all questions in a timely manner. She even provided welcome pastries and water and pop in the refrigerator. All in all a very memorable vacation.

Wonderful time - first time to the Blue Ridge Mountains, therefore, we barely made a dent in really getting familiar with the mountain area. Location was perfect giving us easy access to main highway. A nice little getaway place and if you are not into mountain stuff, this place gives you access to both civilization and mountain stuff.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Stairs could be problematic for older folks.

We really enjoyed our stay in Badger’s Den, it was a great little studio apartment for the two of us! It was a great location between Boone and Blowing Rock, App Ski Mountain, and Blue Ridge Parkway. The hosts provided drinks and a couple of treats from the local bakery which was a wonderful surprise and communication was great with the host. The small summer house was also cute and would be a great place to hangout during the summer or warmer months! Overall great experience.

We adored this cozy little cottage! Very clean and comfortable. Totally private and we truly enjoyed our stay. Thinking of coming and staying as a regular treat for my husband and I. The hosts are prompt and helpful and everything was perfect. Definitely recommend .

This very cute VBRO was definitely the cleanest place we have stayed in. The owner makes you feel so welcomed and at home. She has sweet treats and several hot and cold beverages ready for you. The location is so close to many beautiful hiking spots and quaint towns. Their quest house was a great place to have my quiet time with God in the mornings. The couple that own this beautiful place are very sweet, we definitely made new friends💜. I would highly recommend this place for a vacation to make precious memories.

We had a great stay in Badger's Den! It was perfect for me and my husband for the weekend! The place is cute, cozy and had all the amentities that we needed! We especially loved the path to the summer house and the beautiful views from there! We also loved how close the property is to great hiking at Moses Cone (about 5 minutes away). The property owner was so thoughtful and communicated great! We would definitely stay here again!

This was truly a wonderful little retreat. The details in Badgers Den were absolutely perfect. I am so grateful to have found this listing and Mole Hill 😉. We were greeted with pastries and 6 beautiful deer when we arrived. We could not ask for a better place to stay and see the change of seasons. We will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Badger’s Den! It was so cozy with spectacular views and just perfect for our Boone mountain getaway. The summer cottage and the property were lovely. The fresh cookies and extra goodies (water, pop, coffee, tea….) were very much appreciated. The unit was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I only wish we had more time to stay and explore the area. We definitely recommend spending some time at Grandfather Mountain. We look forward to staying here again!

We loved our stay. The place had everything we needed. It was cozy and a great location to downtown Blowing Rock, Just 12 minutes away. We really love the Summer Cottage and beautiful little stream nearby. The hosts were helpful, and it was a great get away.

My cousin and I absolutely loved our little tree house vacation!! The place was so quaint, clean and just perfect! Erik was so great to work with and the treats from Stick Boy were a wonderful surprise upon arrival! We will definitely be back.

We've stayed at many vacation homes and this is by far one of the cleanest and most comfortable homes. The host provided all the comforts of home and more. We would definitely love to visit again and recommend it to anyone who do not mind stairs.

We celebrated my birthday at this lovely tree top studio! We were welcomed with pastries awaiting us on the table, soft drinks in the mini fridge, and everything we needed inside the studio. We spent relaxing hours outside on the deck enjoying the nice weather. Erik was wonderful to work with. This was one of the nicest places we have stayed. We can't wait to come back!

Everything was so clean and well thought out. The bed was perfect-not too hard, not too soft. All the extra touches were spot on. We will definitely stay here again.

Spent three nights at this adorable VRBO and can not say enough wonderful things about it. The host is lovely and the property is like a Thomas Kinkade painting. You will not be disappointed enjoying a few days disconnecting here. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us.

The unit was exactly as described and pictured. The space was very comfortable and provided us the perfect spot for a romantic weekend getaway. It was easy to get ubers or move around town on our own. I can only hope next time we're in the area the Badgers Den is available.
