Heather and Rod are great host and the place was perfect for our weekend stay! The have everything you need and more to enjoy the beach, to take bike rides around the area. If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would.

Beaches should be cleaner but I’m spoiled as I live at Sunset Beach NC. Rental property is well stocked with bikes kayaks beach chairs etc. If website says they have it they do! And then some.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pineapple Express. It is very easy to find, close to the beach and restaurants, and just down the road from a Publix grocery store. It has a really nice private backyard patio with its own gas grill, many beach bikes that are all well maintained, and a set of kayaks. Inside was spotless with state of the art appliances. Beds and living room furniture are very comfortable. We would return without hesitation. Both hosts have excellent communication. Price was very fair with all that was provided.

From the moment we stepped inside the shack, we were just beyond WOW. The owners did an amazing job in creating an environment that made it cozy, home away from home, yet a very beach style feel. They literally thought of everything making it very convenient and beyond enjoyable. The closeness to the beach and other activities makes it a hidden gem. We will return for sure.

The property is very nicely decorated and clean. Amenities available for use were great. Owners were very thoughtful as to what guests might need on hand.

This property had everything we needed and more. Heather was a great host! Can't wait to come back.

This property is within one block or so of very nice beach. Property seems quite recently renovated and well appointed. Nice amenities like coffee bar; and good, private outdoor shower for washing off sand after day at beach. Highly recommend this property,

Overall the description of this Vrbo is perfect. It is walking distance to the beach and there's even a private beach entrance across the road. I frequent this area due to my in-laws living nearby and have never stayed at the beach itself. This is a perfect spot for relaxing with family and it was SO clean. There was even a nice welcome basket from the hosts. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

We had a great week at the Beach Shack! Everything was as advertised. Location was easy access to everything. Already booked for next year.

Lovely space for a quick trip to Englewood for a family event. Location is perfect and amenities were fabulous. Highly recommend for beach lovers.

This property was very comfortable for myself, my husband, and mother-in-law. It was one of the best equipped VRBO properties we have stayed in. The building has 3 attached units but the owners have done a great job of landscaping the back patio to make the space private for each unit. It is a short walk to the gulf beach. It is also easily walkable to Stump Pass State Park and a couple restaurants. The owners are also some of the best we’ve encountered on VRBO, checking in occasionally to be sure we had everything we needed but not too often. Heather and Rod, we appreciate your hospitality.

Wonderful home to spend a week on the beach. Perfect location with short walks to beach and restaurants and music. We used the kayaks and saw a dolphin. Used the bikes as well. Ideal hosts. Home has everything you may need.

We were impressed by the property as it was clean, spacious, and well stocked with snacks. We used the bikes. The book with important things to know was appreciated!

This rental was perfect for us. Since we wanted to spend a lot of time on the beach, this location was awesome. Literally walk to the beach in under 5 min. (1 block) or ride one of the provided beach cruiser bikes in under 2 min. We loved having access to the bikes and spent some time just riding through the neighborhoods. Plus the bikes gave us quick access to Stump Pass Beach State Park with out having to take the car. The house is very well stocked with about everything you could need or want. Super clean and very comfortable. King size beds are awesome and the bathrooms are very nice. Felt spacious and accommodated us and our family very well. We also enjoyed having access to the canoes. We spent some time paddling around in Lemon Bay which was great. Wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of the BBQ and outdoor setting, which was very quaint and relaxing. Heather and Rod are the real deal when it comes to hosting. They thought of everything and even included some snacks and drinks for us. We had a travel glitch and they worked with us on our accommodations which we are very grateful for. Overall we had a great time and we will be returning for sure. Thanks Heather and Rod.

We had the most peaceful and amazing family vacation during our stay! The communication on behalf of the host was nothing short of amazing! When we arrived, the home was perfect. Snacks were available on the counter and there were cold beverages in the fridge! The coffee bar was set up and ready to go. You really do only need to bring your bathing suit, sunglasses, and sunscreen!

My family of 5 (and our pup) really enjoyed our stay at the Pineapple Express. The snacks and drinks ready upon arrival was a nice surprise. House was clean and the decor was lovely. The kitchen (the only thing I couldn’t find was a colander for my kids’ macaroni and cheese 😂) and bathrooms were well stocked. The walk to the beach was a super easy half block. The beach was an amazing beachcomber’s paradise. We loved our stay and the super convenience of bringing our pup was amazing. I was worried maybe the house would smell like animals, since they allow dogs, but it was clean, no smell. They clearly only take well-behaved fur babies. Thanks for letting us stay at your lovely home!

Where to start? This place is truly incredible if you are looking to find a comfortable place just a short (less than a block) walk from a great Sandy beach. The unit is incredibly well stocked for a couple or a full family to have an awesome getaway. Plenty of bikes, kayaks, beach towels, bath towels etc. The kitchen is well stocked with pretty much anything you need to cook a great meal. Behind the unit is a cozy patio with table and chairs to enjoy the shaded outdoors after a day at the beach. Just a short 5 minute walk takes you to several restaurants that have live music and great patios to enjoy your meals and drinks. Your hosts, Rod and Heather are tremendous at ensuring your stay will be very relaxing, and they will even surprise you with a nice welcome gift (you have to stay to find out more). They responded very quickly when we needed help or recommendations on things. There is a convenience store by the restaurants, and you can find 3 grocery stores, a Walmart, liquor stores and others within a short 5 minute drive from the unit. The island has parasailing boats, as well as jet skis to rent. And three doors down is the bay where great fishing awaits. We cannot say enough about the place!

We loved staying at the Pineapple Express Beach Shack. The unit was very clean with extra attention to details. Thank you so much for the generous snacks and coffee and all the little extra things that were left for us to make our stay easy and pleasant. The location was perfect. I would highly recommend staying here and we hope to come back a visit soon. 😊

The property is well kept and with all the amenities you can think of needing and more. The host is wonderful. We will return soon to Manasota Key! By the way my daughter left her pillow and the host was so nice that she promptly shipped it to our attention. Customer oriented and genuine engagement.
