Would recommend it great location and very friendly staff

This was a real find in a wonderful ocean side town. Our host was completely accommodating meeting us when we were having trouble finding the property. Although it was in a historic building, it had recently been renovated. Great breakfast was included.

A challenge to find and there are some steps to access room

Extremely well located in the middle of the old town. You have everything you need, super clean, very attentive owners: everything at a good price.

Such a alovely quant little town with a lot of great restaurants for sea food and tapas. Aristondo has an excellent location right next to the old church with easy acces to the parking on the harbour, beaches and restaurants. Small kitchen with what you need for a little bit of home cooking.

Great with a washing machine, but nowhere to hang the clothes to dry. We were two people and that works great, but if we had to use the fold-out bunk-bed it would have been quite cramped.

What a picturesque village is Getaria!The location of the pension is great, everything on short walking distance: restaurants, bars, shops and a nice sandy beach. Also loved the mix of the old building and modern interior, very very nicely done. Comfortable beds and the host Joaquin is extremely helpful. Great experience, absolutely recommend!

Everything. Location. Lift. Quiet. Super beds. Hot shower. Very clean. Super nice staff and owner. Very helpful. We lost our daughters teddy bear and he’s is sending it back for free.

It's in the heart of the city and rooms are very modern and stylish. Breakfast at the bar downstairs was very good.

It's well protected against noise from the outside but not at all against noise from the inside. Whenever someone went to the toilet from adjoining rooms we literally woke up. I also can't understand the layout in the bathroom: you have to go through the shower to get to the toilet and if you take a shower you wet the whole toilet.

Excellent hotel in beautiful location and staff were excellent and always smiling.

Fabulous accommodation with great location met by a brilliant host

Amazing value. Lovely room, and very comfy. In the centre of town, and has great access to the port and the beach. If you want an experience like a local, then you wouldn't find a better place.

Amazing location in the centre of Getaria. Design of room was very modern, cleanliness was excellent and the view up the main street was awesome. We didn’t have breakfast but the bar downstairs was comfortable and welcoming.

Just a note if you’re driving that you have to park by the port- not an issue but if you have heavy bags or mobility is an issue this might not be for you. The beds were super comfortable and we were out a lot but would have been nice to have a chair or seating area in the room- wasn’t an issue for us and they were very welcoming of us sitting in the bar.

The staff in the morning was lovely, helping us with calling a taxi for luggage transfer and all. The rooms were absolutely beautiful looking inside with an amazing shower/toilet room.

When I arrived after hiking from Deba I had a helpful way of getting inside. My brother had a different experience though: When I finally found a bar near the address and went inside to ask if they knew where this hotel was the man said no many times so I went back outside looking and he finally comes out and asks my name and says it was there all along. This was after a long day of walking 20km. I was then given a code verbally to enter the room and front door but not on paper so when I went out for a bite to eat I forgot the code and luckily he was just leaving for the night after closing his bar so he gave me the code again but in a very frustrated way. He went on to tell me that if I smoked in the room police would come, etc. Why not just say no smoking? I would never smoke in a room anyway. The pillows were very hard as well as the beds that were two singles pushed together.

Breakfast was great, the host was exceptional, and the building and rooms are modern, clean and perfectly located next to the church in the centre of Getaria.

Nice owner. Good check-in with convenient keyless locks. Brand new place. Amazing restaurants right across from the hotel. All with wood-fired grills. Convenient to beach and bus stop. Great walk up the hill partially by escalator and elevator(surprise!) to a green valley of vineyards and gardens. Beautiful!

Glass glasses in room would be nice.As would a safe. But no big deal. We'll be back!
