Perfect place for my friends to stay!! They came for my son's wedding.

We have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place at all. Everything was perfect in every way. Great location and close to everything we would need. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!!!

Great location with a nice view of the lake in a quiet neighborhood. You can walk down to the dock, where you can sit on the bench and relax. We enjoyed the fire ring in the backyard also. The house is nicely remodeled with beautiful views of the yard and lake from the kitchen, sunroom, and one bedroom. We also enjoyed walking to Montello's main street and the state's tallest tree.

We stayed for 2 nights & it's clear this 2 BR 1 bath home has been remodeled & looks fresh! Large kitchen, nice bedrooms, bathroom & 2 sun rooms. The back area provides a stunning view of the lake, nice seating & lovely landscaping. Will definitely be back again!!

The Lakehouse was very clean and is in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay!

Chuck and Mary had the house stocked with everything you could possibly need! They are a quick phone call away and answered a question quickly. The home is beautiful, comfortable and you couldn't ask for better views or location. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

My daughters and I had a wonderful weekend getaway at this comfortable home on Buffalo Lake. The house is beautifully furnished with state of the art amenities. The gracious owners are extremely accommodating and truly care about the comfort and experiences of their guests. The house was impeccably clean, equipped with all the necessary essentials. The property is refreshing with all forms of wildlife serenaded by a vast population of birds. The lake is beautiful and refreshing, active with fish, turtles and frogs. If I ever wanted to write a book; this property would be an optimal location! #goals. Enjoy!

The house was very clean and beautiful. There was a paddleboat and row boat to use as well. A 10 minute walk to downtown was all that was needed. Mary and Chuck are extremely nice people and had offered the use of their pontoon boat if wished.

We've stayed at the house before. It was totally updated and they did a wonderful job. Mary provides anything that you might need at your home away from home. For example, I've stayed at other places where it was challenging to cook a meal with what was provided. That's not the case here. Access to the house was easy. When I found one small possible inconvenience, Mary remedied it right away. One suggestion I have is to outline expectations around snow removal. While the walkway was shoveled when we arrived, it could have used another shoveling during our time there. There was a shovel, which we did use, but if it had snowed more significantly, I don't think we should have been required to take care of removing it. There was parking identified, but it was a bit challenging to be sure we were parking in the correct spot due to snow covering. Overall, this is a very nice house and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

We came for our 6 year anniversary and it was beautiful. It’s so peaceful and the host Mary is so sweet and goes above and beyond. We will definitely be back.

Everything about this place was wonderful. So clean and comfortable. LOVED the 3 season room.

This place was exactly as it was described. We especially enjoyed having our morning tea in the sunroom with the view of the lake.

My mother and I stayed here for a weekend. This property is cozy , spacious and clean. The one-story layout was perfect for mom and her mobility issues. Check-in couldn't have been easier and the location was a breeze to find. Mary is a lovely hostess and while we didn't have any requests (everything we needed was already there), I"m positive she would have helped us if we needed her to. If I ever have occasion to stay anywhere in the area, this is going to be my first choice.

Mary's place on Buffalo Lake was very clean and roomy for the four of us. Everything worked well and we had a great stay. The communication was great and we had no problems with arrival or departure. We would definitely stay there again! Thanks Mary!

I loved the peace and quiet of the lake with the Eagle and Osprey flying over!

We loved staying here...close to town, everything you will need, many extra's to make it a perfect get away. Owners are close by if anything is needed. What a great place., thank you so much for making your place our place for a week.

We went for our 30th anniversary. Town was cute and lots of shops property was very well maintained and peaceful . Loved it and will go back!

We did a 4-day/3-night stay at the Lake house. The house was very clean and had everything we needed, very spacious and well-kept. Lots to do in the area within walking and driving distance. We spent a day hiking at Devil's Lake State Park, went to the Amish Country Store and walked to the local shops and candy store. We very much enjoyed our stay!

This place is heaven! Every detail in the house was thought throw carefully! All the little touches, and the unique furniture was amazing. This wasn’t just a VRBO home, it was truly home while we were there! Mary visited with us frequently and was delightful to be around. This was the best VRBO experience we’ve ever had! My only regret is, we didn’t have more time to sit on the patio and just enjoy the serenity of it all!

It was a great place for some R & R. The furnishings are comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, plates, silverware, etc. allowing us to cook our own food. The porch has a gorgeous view of the lake and was a good place to chill and visit and maybe take a nap! TV works well, a/c worked appropriately, water came out of faucets correctly...things I mention as sometimes when you assume it all works fine but doesn't....this house is very well kept up and true to the posted pictures. We would stay again without hesitation
