The cabin lodge had more than enough amenities and extras to make the getaway feel like home.

It was a great stay. The only thing I would ask that the wall behind the bed be cleaned. You can’t see it she. You look straight at it but when you lay down it’s bad. That is the only thing. Everyone that was staying there from different states were great and the neighbors were wonderful. I would do it again.

The only complaint and not s big one was the size the shower. I'm not a big man by any means but it was very difficult to fit in the shower. That's it! Everything else was great. Clean and comfortable.

The property was in a beautiful location. The area is quiet and peaceful. The room is set up like a little cabin and was very cozy. The only downside was there was no place to hang up my clothes that I didnt want all wrinkled in my suitcase. We were very satisfied and would definitely stay here again and probably will.

The cabin unit was a perfect personal retreat getaway for a few days. The boat launch and small dock on the Oauchita River were located just feet from the corner of the cabin, and I had a great time relaxing and fishing the river. I suspect it gets busy on summer weekends, but it was perfect for a spring retreat.

Very well represented by photos and descriptions. Very nice, clean,and quiet right on the water. Just the occasional boat passing every once in awhile. You have your own private covered balcony ans see geese and ducks flying overy. Very satisfied and will most definitely make an effort to come back.

Pretty spot right on the waterfront. Enjoyed drinking coffee on the balcony and watching the geese on the water. Great location between the Ron Coleman crystal mine and Hot Springs. Would stay again.

Perfect for 1 or 2 people, overlooking the Ouachita River. Comfy bed and enjoyed coffee on the balcony in the morning & an adult beverage in the evening. Comfy bed, beautiful scenery with lots of activities & great food not too far. Looking forward to going back again!

We had the best time in this cabin/lodge. It sat right on the river. We ate breakfast and dinner out on the balcony each day and enjoyed watching the bald eagles, blue heron and even a baby otter each morning. What a treat. Our only complaint was the neighbors dogs. When they were outside, they barked incessantly. Nothing the owner can do about that I suppose. Overall- so fantastic, sad to leave.

Quiet and serene. Sitting on the deck, having a drink, watching an eagle dip to the water after a fish, then landing in a tree to feast! Occasional boaters up and down the River breaking the waters surface that most of the times appears to be a mirror. Will definitely return.

This cabin is perfect for a family of 4 and is in a very nice quiet neighborhood. If you like to be close to the water this is the place. Owner was very responsive and courteous. We look forward to booking again one day.

My husband and I brought our 2 small puppers and our kayaks for the 4 day visit. We kayaked on the lake and up Owl Creek each day. Loved going in to Hot Springs and getting pizza at Grateful Head, what a gem of a patio and historic building under the shade, tucked in to a hillside with yummy pizza! The view and water access was serene! Blakely Dam was neat to check out.
The place was as pictured and perfect for our getaway. A fan helps with cooling the condo. Great visit!

Overall: a nice stay
The only 2 things that the cabin needs to be perfect is to have bed sheets appropiate for the Summer and not the ones that we had which were more for Winter time. Having at least two sets per bed would be ideal.. The other thing is to make sure cleaning before the next people's checking-in includes coffee maker's deep clean..
A last addition, reponding to messages more diligently will also help, and having some kind of noise/environment policy will make people on the 2 floor having a better vacation if people on the first floor (or viceversa) "knows" and adheres to these policies Other than this it is a 9/10.

Ouachita Vacation
This lodge is terrific! It’s quiet, clean, well fitted out, and literally on the water. We brought our own kayaks, and floated and fished for 4 days. The water is cold and clear; it’s also very busy this time of year. The views from our 2nd floor room were breathtaking-we saw fish, deer, eagles, beavers, and black footed ferrets. We used the charcoal grill in the back. The owner provides lighter fluid. The decks are very private, and the rooms are quiet. Generally, the lighting and air conditioning could be improved; however, this place was well worth the money. It was close enough to enjoy Hot Springs and the spillway swimming area. Beautiful Place
We had the most gorgeous view. I enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching boats go by. There was fog on the water in the morning and evening the first few days. It was surreal. The cabin was very nice. Everyone was friendly. We definitely plan to go back again.

Birthday Getaway
Hubby and I stayed 2 nights. Very nice and clean. Bed could be a little more comfortable it's a bit on the stiff side. Overall really enjoyed our stay. Will go back.

Great cabin on the River
The cabin was nice and cozy. It had a great balcony overlooking the river and the forest on the other side. We saw all kinds of birds, including three bald eagles! The other occupants in the other rooms of the cabins were friendly and respectful. Overall, we had a great time and will look at coming back to this cabin again.

I have a very good impression of this property. I would suggest though, that the suite we were in was a second story suite with stairs only. It was not a problem for us but it could be a challenge for others.

Location is right on the river! Balcony overlooks the river banks. I would think this would be a great place to visit when the leaves change. Good fishing too. Caught several bass & pike off the bank.

Perfect for a nice long weekend get away :)
We were looking for a place to unplug, get away and relax. And, we did! Great place for boating, paddle boarding and/or kayaking. Plan to come back during the Fall or Spring weather to enjoy the cooler temps. August is just too hot to do much of anything outside.

Beautiful view
This was a beautiful property. We we went Paddle Boarding right from the boat ramp. The water was warm in the mornings and cold in the evenings. We are used to paddling in Colorado so the water wasn't too cold for us. We didn't swim. Wonderful place would definitely come back. Thank you!

Memorial weekend
We really enjoyed our location , the boat dock could be better , big waves caused the dock to damage the boat. We really enjoyed the location, dollar store nearby and laundry mat. We will definitely stay again!
