I can’t say enough good things about this property. It’s clear that Kyle and Erin put a lot of thought into not only the design of the cottage, but of what guests might need to make it a great stay. The cottage was clean, warm, and inviting. It was the perfect size for the two of us on this trip. The location is outstanding as well. Super easy to get to the beach, restaurants, or to take advantage of the walk/bike path by the sound. We were able to use the pool to relax during the day and then sit outside each night. Kyle and Erin were quick to respond to any messages we had. Thanks to both of you for creating this space and letting us enjoy it.

This beach cottage is absolutely beautiful and something you would see in a magazine. The owners are so wonderful and make you feel very welcome as well as help with any questions you may have. This was the perfect space for my small family (husband and two younger children) The pool was well used and a very relaxing spot to hang out. We had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook!

The house was just perfect. We were so glad to have found a small house with everything we needed, since we came as a little family of 4 (2 adults, 3-year-old and 10-month-old). The kids loved, LOVED the pool and we adults appreciated the cleanliness, amenities and all the wonderful extra details Kyle an Erin provided to make us feel welcome. Would definitely go back again!

We had a beautiful week staying in this wonderfully located, clean and thoughtful home. We enjoyed spending mornings in the pool and afternoons at the beach. It was easy access to the beach, restaurants, mini golf and ice cream, everything our 7 year old could want! Thank you so much for a relaxing stay, we couldn’t ask for better hosts.

WOW! The cottage was even better than described, close to everything but secluded in a lovely residential area (quiet!) between the ocean and within walking distance of beautiful Kitty Hawk Bay. Hosts Kyle & Erin have created the perfect retreat! Our weather was not the best, but that didn't stop us from doing some major exploring and dining with many wonderful suggestions from our hosts. Returning to this sweet cottage is definitely a plan for the future. Thanks so much, Kyle & Erin for being such gracious, relaxed and welcoming hosts!

Rental was well-equipped, comfortable, and clean. Communication with the hosts was easy and quick. Close to plenty of restaurants and the beach, but not necessarily walkable. Still, would not consider that a negative because it’s in a nicer area. You would not be disappointed staying here. We plan on coming back!

This was an amazing house in the outer banks. Was perfect for 3 adults (one couple and a friend): beautiful upstairs bedroom and bath, and a downstairs pull out sofabed which would have also been big enough for a couple. Loved being a 10 minute walk from the beach, and then coming back and having access to the pool - even though it's not heated, it was plenty warm on Labor Day weekend. All in all, the place isn't giant, but it was beautiful and cozy - clean, well renovated, and perfect for a fun time in the outer banks. Definitely looking forward to visiting again!

Thanks so much to Kyle and Erin for a great stay! The place was very clean, decorated nicely, and the perfect size for ourselves and our two small kids for our family getaway. They provided linens, bath towels, bath soap/shampoo, beach supplies (chairs, cooler, towels), and a welcome bottle of wine! Located close to public beach access and restaurants. The welcome packet was very helpful and we took a few of their restaurant and activity recommendations, which were great. Hosts replied quickly to our questions prior to the trip. Although located right next to the main house, it was still very quiet and felt private. Used the pool as well which our kids loved. Highly recommend!

We’ve never been to the Outer Banks before and this was a great place to stay to get to know the area. The cottage is lovely and we enjoyed grilling and using the pool.

Thank you to Kyle and Erin for a great first vacation for our 18 month and 3 year old boys. The cottage was stylish, clean, and comfortable and the pool was a great time for the kids. We enjoyed walking to the sound and the close access to the beach and restaurants. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay in this cottage at Kitty Hawk. The location is safe and secluded and in close proximity to the beach, the sound, restaurants, and bike trails - everything we wanted! The cottage had the perfect amount of space that our family of four needed and was very clean. The amenities were great inside and out. Outside, we enjoyed the pool, bikes, & corn hole. Inside, the cottage included a perfectly proportioned kitchen, bedroom, living room, and bathrooms; the owners provided soaps, shampoo, linens, detergent in the laundry room and kitchen, too. The owners were very communicative throughout the booking process and throughout our stay - ensuring we were had what we needed and were enjoying our stay. It was just the getaway we needed! Thank you.

Beautiful cottage located conveniently near beach & shopping. Erin & Kyle have done a wonderful job with this property & were available for any questions. We would definitely stay there again if we return to the Outer Banks. 5 stars!

We were visiting friends in Duck for the week and it was convenient to getting there, but also close to Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills. The place is very spacious, especially the upstairs level. The king bed was super comfortable, and having a 1/2 bath upstairs was so convenient. We didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it looked very nice. Shower water pressure great and plenty of towels. Kitchen well stocked. Check in easy and owners very responsive!

We loved our stay at Kyle and Erin’s cottage! Everything was so clean and new and the king bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The AC kept us cool and happy. We enjoyed swimming in the pool everyday. The pool deck was so pleasant, set up with lounge chairs, and a large shade over picnic tables which made it very pleasant to sit with breakfast in the morning. It was so quiet and peaceful in their neighborhood. Not only was the property beautiful, but it was so close to everywhere we wanted to be. We were visiting family in Duck and were able to get there in about 15 minutes. It’s also close to the beach and great restaurants, and the Wright Brothers memorial. A couple of mornings we enjoyed strolling on the Wright Brothers sound path at the base of their street. This cottage is truly a hidden gem and I look forward to staying again in the future!

Every step of the process was made easy by the hosts! The cottage is modern, classy and perfectly tuned to the OBX experience. It's an amazing location, as well. The hosts were incredibly accommodating to our special health needs request and even saved us when our daughter locked us out of the cottage. We would rent again in a heartbeat!

This property was the perfect getaway for our small family of 3. The house and pool were beautiful and very clean. Property owners were extremely respectful of giving us our space and stocked the house with all the essentials which was awesome! Neighborhood was nice, safe, and quiet. Walk or drive to the nearest beach access point was good and had parking and public bathrooms available which was very nice. Overall great experience and looking forward to going back someday!

Wishing we had more than two nights! The converted garage beach cottage had everything we needed for our quick trip to the beach. The cottage was ready as promised, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed to make the most of our weekend beach trip. Great communication with the owners and fabulous restaurant recommendations as well. We hope to come back.
