Five girlfriends and I stayed here to celebrate a 40th birthday. It was affordable and in a quiet neighborhood just outside the main strip. Questions were promptly answered whenever I emailed and will certainly consider Gertrude Rentals at their other locations. Recommendations for the house would be a full-length mirror somewhere, pump soaps instead of hand soap, and some hotter water for sinks. Showers were fine for temps, but washing dishes, hands, and faces were done with cool water. All quick fixes but didn’t impact the stay and just some preferences for a group of women.

we had a great say in siesta key with our 3 teenage boys. The house was clean and close to town and an easy bike ride or walk to get to town. Would have appreciated more toiletries (other than hand soap) etc similar to other rentals where there are typically bath towels, shampoo etc. Beach towels and chairs were definitely a plus.

Great size house with all amenities. Perfect location as we rode bikes to shops/restaurants and to beach every day.

The rental property manager was very nice and helpful. We were able to walk to siesta village where there were many restaurants and shops. We could also walk to the beach but took our car because of all of the gear. There were other options for getting around including a trolley and golf carts

I really enjoyed staying here! I packed light! Beach chairs and beach towels! We really enjoyed our vacation!😊

Great location within easy walking distance of Siesta Village and the beach. Lovely updated home with everything needed for an enjoyable stay (including bikes, beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, etc.).

The property is great for multiple couples or families with children. We met our adult son there for a five day mini vacation. There is plenty of room to move around in the house. There are two full bathrooms and a half bath which was very nice surprise. Everything is well maintained and cleaned. I rarely recommend a property but this one is very good for your stay in Siesta Key. The beaches are amazing. Everything is within walking distance. We will rent this place again. Love it.

Couldn't really ask for a better location, close to the village with restaurants, bars, and ice cream shops. Walking distance (.8) mile to the beach. Towels, a wagon, chairs, umbrellas all well maintained and ready to take to the beach. Bring some WD40 for the metal bunk beds, as they're very squeaky, and everything but oil and coffee for the kitchen, and you'll be golden for a great stay.

Such a great home base

Property was perfect for us and our pet. Longtime SK residents that had to evacuate after our property flooded. The rental managers were awesome, accommodates us with all our needs. The property itself was perfect and as advertised.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Nice house. Rent a golf cart to get around.

Nothing but great things to say about this place. We had the best time on our girls' trip and the location was second to none. Everything as advertised online as well!

The house was the perfect size for two families coming together for a beach trip! We never felt on top of each other and the house felt safe. We drove to the beach since we did have a 5 year old with us. The drive was 5mins away roughly. I was concern about the road noise after seeing the reviews but not once were we woken up by it. Will be booking again

Loved our stay at this property. Short walk to downtown Siesta Key and the restaurants, shopping and beach access. The house is definitely darker than the pictures portray, even when you open all the curtains. For a beach trip intended to be casual this house worked great for us.

This worked out perfect for our trip. Plenty of room and nicely furnished. The chilled wine waiting for us was a nice touch! Thanks for having beach towels and chairs. Didn't get a chance to use the bicycles, but that would have been great, too.

This was the best location to dine, shop or hit the beach all by foot. So many great restaurants and shopping in the Village and the beaches are beautiful . The PH has a roof top patio for viewing sunsets or just relaxing. It was the most stocked VRBO that we have rented with plenty of towels, soap, dishes, coolers, beach chairs, rollaways, bikes, even scooters. The property manager was extremely detailed from checkin to checkout, so never a question. The place was recently remodeled which is also hard to find with many VRBOs. We loved everything and you will too!

Low ceilings, beat up paint and overall old feel. Dirty filthy front door covered in dead bugs( I had to clean it). Also the Awning was low and droopy. Home had wear and tear feeling and had an old living sofa and poor quality kitchen chairs, No hot water in kitchen and then they sent someone without an approved appt to enter house to fix when we were not there( no phone call telling us or anything). The management company was responsive but is in NJ and tried to tell me that there was no problem with the RED TIDE on the beach! It was a big problem! Home backs right up to the main road so lots of traffic noise in the primary bedroom. This home is Not recommended.

If 2 of our other friends had come, there would still have been plenty of room. Suggestions: Have soap dishes in the bathroom by the sinks. Clean out the drain in the tub. Water drains slowly. There should be a pump by the bikes in the garage for filling tires which will go low from sitting and the seats should be higher. They were child size. Luckily, we found a wrench in the kitchen. The beach is a bit less than a mile. We walked to town. The place is quiet, but it is off of a very busy street. I have no major complaints. The owner is very easy to communicate with and he was very responsive to all of our requests. Lots of room in the house to be together or to spread out. 2 places to sit outside.

Everything was great at this property. Good location. Great amenities, we had everything we needed for the beach and didn’t have to bring anything. Communion from the property management was great, we knew exactly what to expect during our stay. They were quick to respond when we wanted to extend our stay. Will definitely stay here if we ever visit Siesta Key again!

We loved our stay here! It is just far enough away from the bustle of Siesta Key Village to feel peaceful, but only about a 7 minute walk down the street to all the shopping and dining. The house is very comfortable and clean. We loved the spacious open floor plan. We had some friend gatherings and it had plenty of seating and room between the open interior and the nice patio! The beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels were great to use to avoid having to bring our own. Dan the property manager always responded super quickly and accomodated our every need. We hope to stay again!

Conveniently located with many nice amenities and plenty of space for large groups. I stayed here with my sisters and we enjoyed the house a lot and were very comfortable. It’s a short bike ride to the beach and town, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The property manager is great and helpful. Beds are comfy which is a must for me. I recommend staying here.
