We so enjoyed our stay with our family of five and found everything as described and pictured. It is a beautiful house and just the perfect size for our family. The kitchen and bathrooms are all updated and decor bright and well done. Beds were so comfortable too! We loved the location so close to East Beach and our favorite, Mike’s Bites too:) Thank you for a wonderful stay. This house is a great find!!

This property was beautiful, exceptionally clean, and the host left no detail overlooked. It is not large but there is more than enough space for a family or maybe two small families. The golf cart was one of our favorite parts! The neighborhood was quiet and the island felt like a tropical paradise. We wouldn’t have changed a thing!

We had a wonderful time in this house. The owner was extremely responsive even when out of the country! The house is adorable and as pictured. We loved the neighborhood and being on the east side of the island.

Such a cute house! Loved the quiet and beautiful location. Worked great for our family of 4 (two boys 3 & 5). Was great purchasing a temp membership for BHI Club aka kid paradise. Would absolutely stay again!

We absolutely loved this home away from home. The house was in a perfect location, was very clean, comfortable and exactly as described. Check in was easy and the host checked in to make sure we were satisfied. We will definitely be back.

This property is perfect! Well appointed and great location near East Beach. So clean as well! I have stayed at several different places on BHI and this is by far my favorite. Chrissie is a fantastic host. She is so quick to respond to questions and even suggested things to do while we were there. I will definitely be staying here again

Always enjoy visiting BHI and this was the perfect house for myself and two of my teenage kids for a long weekend. House is beautifully decorated and well equipped. Owner was lovely to work with and communicated very well throughout the entire process. Would definitely stay here again!

Not On Call is such a perfect place for a family of 4-6 or even an extended family. House is in immaculate shape with everything you could need. We loved staying near South Beach and we could go everywhere we wanted to go on the golf cart or bikes. Our boys (8 and 10) felt very much at home in the house and we did too!

Absolutely loved my visit to Bald Head Island. The home is just as warm and inviting as it looks online. The section is close to the beach less than 5 minutes in the golf cart and close to the shoals club house.
Chrissie was fantastic through the whole process, prompt to answer any questions and truly deserves all these 5 star reviews! 10/10 will be back.

Clean and well organized home. We were pleased to find a stand alone home and not a duplex (can't tell from photo). Bikes in good working order. Beach chairs and towels provided. Beach access #39 was close by and had a wonderful beach. We went to another house for a party that was on the other side of the island and the bugs were awful there but no issues at this location. Be aware that the Island police were stopping golf carts that were leaving the wedding we attended at the Marina. We didn't get stopped but we saw when we left and heard the same from other wedding goers.

Lovely house. Very clean. Quite comfortable sitting areas. The third floor family suite has comfortable beds and is spacious. The kitchen is functional and well-equipped though small. Would not be great for a family in which multiple people wanted to cook. The first floor bedroom is a little less comfortable as it's a tight space. Just worth being aware that the family suite upstairs has all beds in one room, so if you don't want to sleep in the same room as your kids, they get the nicer space.

Nice place for 4-day weekend stay to visit family on BHI and other family members who also rented homes. Owner was very involved all weekend to be sure the stay was going well and that we had everything we needed.

Not On Call was a great little house for our first time on Bald Head Island. There was more than enough room for a family of four, and all of the extras (beach chairs, bikes, games, etc.) meant that we didn't need to worry about bringing all of that with us. The only challenge was figuring out how to work the Nest thermostat so that the temp stayed comfortable. I look forward to visiting again!

This cottage is fresh, bright and crisp. It has everything you need and is located on the best part of the island. Our family of five simply loves this place - this was our second time renting and we already know we'll be back next year. Look no further for the perfect BHI rental.

Beautiful House / Great Location
The communication from the time we booked to the time we checked out was excellent. The house was exactly as depicted online and had everything we needed. The furniture and beds were super comfortable and the house spotless. We would absolutely rent again!

Fantastic location, close to East beach, Mike’s bites / Turtle conservatory. House was perfect for our family of 5. Excellent communication with the owner. Can’t think of any amenity that wasn’t available to us.

Perfect Piece of Paradise
This was our first time to the island and staying at “Not on Call” absolutely did not disappoint. We found the location to be perfect as we were in walking distance to shops, Mike’s Bites, and the beach! Every place else we frequented was a short golf cart ride away. The house was impeccably clean, well stocked, and perfectly decorated. Chrissie was so helpful and responsive from the time of booking until we checked out. It’s not hard to see why BHI brings families back year after year. We are already planning our next trip!

The house was great, in a great location, quiet and close enough to walk to the beach. Host was very helpful, we had a minor issue with the garage door and that was all sorted very quickly and with no fuss at all.
