Our second time at this on-the-beach getaway. Beach is not busy which is what our family likes, but there are shops and restaurants close enough to bike to.

Super vacay at Emerald Isle - never disappoints! The accommodations were perfect for our family + two of our kids’ friends. Coffee & breakfast on the main deck each morning, wine and reading on the upper deck each evening. Truly an EI classic duplex, with all the amenities we needed. I think I put on shoes once the whole week! ❤️❤️

Loved the rocking chairs / oceanfront balconies on both levels and private beach access. Open family room/kitchen/dining area accommodated our group of seven (grandparents, parents and three kids) well. Unit was fabulously well stocked, And kitchen was a real working kitchen; we had every meal in the unit. We will be back!

We loved being at Wait-n-Sea. Such a wonderful home with comfy furniture and beds and it’s fully stocked with supplies. The covered decks might have been my favorite part of the home as we read, rocked and sipped. Hope to stay there again.

If you're searching for the perfect beach home, this is it! The owners have provided everything that you need for a great vacation..clean and roomy with a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and large dining area. Amazing views from every room, and steps from the beach. Perfection.

We wholeheartedly agree with all previous positive reviews! The owners thought of everything for their guests. There’s a guest supply cabinet full of items that might be needed before the grocery shopping trip. The gorgeous ocean view greeted us upon arrival just as shown in photos online. We loved the rockers on both porches! My ‘happy place’ is reading a book by the ocean. There’s easy and quick access to the beach as well. If you’re looking for a safe and quiet neighborhood, this is it! Thanks Mandy & Beth. Hope to stay here again.

The property was beautiful with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. One of the best stocked rentals our family has stayed in. Everything that you could possibly think of was there.

Very nice location with easy beach access and amazing views. The inside is tastefully decorated and the house is stocked well with supplies for anything you might need during your stay. Absolutely zero complaints.

We had a wonderful time at Wait N Sea! It is a great place to stay. It is right on the beach and very cozy and quaint! I would recommend it to any couple or small family.

You could hear the waves in the bedroom, this is how close this house is to the ocean 😊 House is renovated and kitchen is fully equipped. Beach is almost private, as there are not too many folks using the public entry. Great host - we had an issue with one of the lights and Beth took care of it the following day. Recommended!!!

The house was absolutely perfect for our family in town for a wedding. Excellent floor plan with a downstairs bedroom for my mother who can't do a lot of steps. I loved the view and ability to walk right out to the beach. The house was well stocked and had a great open space for relaxing. The owners are nice and accommodating. We will be sure to return!!

Good - clean, right on the beach, nice neighborhood, all linens, cooking supplies provided. Beds are above average. Nicely decorate. Great of a dog. If you don't enjoy your stay, it's you. Not as Good - decks not wide enough for lounge chair, it's a duplex so yapping people on adjacent deck can steal your peace and quite.

Let’s start with owners that are 10 plus for thoughtfulness, extremely responsiveness & so accommodating , hands down classy women!! The homes beauty and views cannot be beat nor can the proximity to anything from groceries to restaurants and more! Easy to navigate the Island. Views views and a feeling you are on your own private beach rates a 100% happiness. The porches having shade and rockets are sn added bonus! Some beautiful homes can disappoint that they look good but lack comfort. No worries everything was comfortable and the thoughtfulness to anything a renter could want had been covered too and at the ready. I brought things that were at the home had I needed it, I would have saved packing. The welcome bottle of wine sets the tone of this home and it’s owners top notch do not hesitate coming here I travel often and I NEVER give 5 stars this is a first. Charlene & family

This house was amazing. In an amazing location, right near town, with the beach in the backyard. The house was extremely well stocked, with everything we needed. This was our first time to EI and we can't wait to go back and stay in this house!

This was our favorite family vacation yet! The place is really beautiful. Everything was well thought out in this adorable duplex. The kitchen was equipped with every single item you'd need, to include a milk frother & meat thermometer, spices, very nice pots & pans. We weren't in need of anything at all. The view was spectacular, with a very easy walk right onto the beach, then a hose rinse off, or the outdoor shower. There were even beach toys & beach chairs. We did have to rent different chairs, as the ones there were a bit flimsy, but perfect for small children. Perfect rocking chairs on the deck to just sit & enjoy the view. I've already inquired about booking again next year. It was a much-needed, perfect getaway!

Great location with easy beach access and great views. The house was the best stocked place - in every category - that we've ever stayed. All the furniture was comfortable, and for a pet friendly place, it was surprisingly very clean. Communication with the owner was great, the welcome wine was a fun touch, and we could see ourselves renting again.

We have stayed at other VRBO's in Emerald Isle and while we enjoyed them they do not compare to Wait N Sea. These hosts provided a unit with everything one could possibly want in a beautiful setting. Just steps from the ocean with a convenient outdoor shower to rinse off the sand - other places may say they have an outdoor one but it typically is a spigot on the walkway and this is the real deal. All of the rooms were filled with comfortable furniture and there were many thoughtful touches - numerous hooks in the bathrooms and bedrooms, baskets in the closets for dirty clothes that were useful when using the laundry room. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the supply closet was so very helpful. The hosts recommended Gaffers Restaurant and we had two great meals there. We also ordered crabs from Captain Willis Seafood and highly recommend it for fresh seafood. If you are looking for a fabulous ocean front unit you could not do better then this one!

Outstanding house--easily the best appointed and stocked of any of the many places we have stayed. Excellent and relaxing vacation for everybody. A gas grill would put it totally over the top. Thanks for the great stay!

The property was newly remodeled and in great shape. It was also very well stocked from the kitchen to bathroom to toys for the beach. The owner was very reponsive. The location was great. It had a beautiful view and plenty of beach. A short walk to the sound side took you to a public boat ramp with a long walkway for watching sunsets.

Beautiful home, well equipped, comfortable beds and seating. Two story covered porches, outdoor shower is a bonus. Excellent communications with hosts. Great location and views. Pet friendly. Highly recommend!

The house was exceptional. Everything updated and nicely decorated. Stepping out right onto the beach was wonderful. The owners stocked all kinds of supplies. We would definitely return.

Great place!!

I honestly don’t give many 5 star reviews because there’s usually something that could be better. This place was daggum near perfect though! I do think the location and decks facing the ocean made a big difference but the house itself is great too. My friend did all the cooking and was happy with the items in the kitchen. We had to bring a Keurig but there’s a coffee pot for your use. The only complaint we had was that the faucet on the deck out to the beach doesn’t work so we had to do our best to get the sand off our feet then wash them off in the tub. Kind of a hassle, but really a very minor inconvenience. We definitely talked about staying here again!!

My family spent spring break at this perfect beach-front property! The house was beautiful, but the views and beach access were incredible! Walk out the back porch and you are on sand! The community and neighborhood are peaceful and friendly. Great aquarium for the kids and restaurants nearby too! Highly recommend this gem!

This was a delightful cute property Well appointed modern and airy Keith the most breathtaking views The owner left the property very well stocked of all the things you might need/forget to bring with you. Although we didn’t need anything it was good know we were covered for all eventualities Highly recommend for a family break

Third time at this wonderful home. Superbly equipped, beautiful views, and easy check-in.

We loved this property for the ocean views and quiet location. From the large picture windows on the main floor, you can see and hear the waves breaking--no obstructed views from the dunes. We also loved the open concept living/dining/kitchen area as well as having a bedroom on the main floor. The only negative, if I had to give one, is that the laundry room is outside underneath the house--but it is a full size washer and dryer. Home included a well-stocked kitchen for preparing meals and the bed was very comfortable. We'd love to stay here again on our next trip to Emerald Isle.

Great location on the beach. Property was clean and comfortable. We had an issue with the washer during our stay- the owner was very responsive and handled the issue quickly. Would recommend this property!

My family and dog very much enjoyed this property...the home is well decorated/ furnished and comfortable. This was one of our favorite beach houses we've rented, we would definitely stay here again.
