This was a beautiful home and very spacious! Only complaint which is minor is the back room had no remote so we had to keep getting the remote from the front room. We also kept finding blonde and brunette hair in the bathroom and a bunch mopped on the floor in the bathroom. Other than that the house was clean. I would recommend this home.

Charming home,lacked a few things,hangers for clothes,laundry baskets,maybe throw blankets..Enjoyed the shops and dining Downfall you have to pay for parking every where ypu go

Awesome location. Within walking distance to restaurants, shops, beaches, and piers. Older home, which I love the charm of older homes, but needs a good cleaning (carpets and couch). A little irritated that I tried to contact management about a few small issues and never heard back from them.

Favorable location with a few restaurants close. House was certainly not in as good of shape as pictures make it look. Master sink was inoperable. Linens smelled of heavy smoke which was not pleasant. The positive of the stay was that it was an easy drive to Savannah which was main point of our trip.

Great space to visit, prepare and enjoy meals together. Walking distance to shops, beach and restaurants.

Location on this house is amazing and definitely the main plus point for this house.

Enjoyed the owners home, however, maintenance of the property is lacking. Damaged window blinds on both levels, dirty carpet (the 1st bedroom to the left on the main level is so bad walking into the room that I had to put a towel down to walk on it to enter the room, stained furniture (couch is to the point of having to place a towel on the couch to sit on it), multiple light bulbs burnt out throughout, coffee maker with wrong size coffee pot that was too short to allow the coffee to release into the coffee pot (not impressive 1st thing in the morning). The main level hallway bathroom vent fan cover is very heavy with dust that typically equates to the fan motor heavy with dust and this is a fire hazard. The Dining Area has water stains on the ceiling that have been there for a while due to having a dry appearance. I understand that Reservations are booked back to back during peak season however, time must be scheduled for regular maintenance. I have always had great experiences renting through VRBO and I look forward to coming back to Tybee Island, however, I will not rent this property again due to the lack of maintenance.

Our family and pets enjoyed our stay at Tybee Southern Comfort for Thanksgiving weekend at the beach. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out inside along with inviting outdoor space. Convenient location too!

This house was exactly what I hoped for. It was clean, roomy and decorated nicely. It was great for myself, my husband, and our three adult daughters along with my "granddogs". It had everything we needed along with extra amenities that I wasn't expecting, and the location was perfect. (Not so close to the beach where the noise was a problem, but close enough to enjoy a short walk to and from the beach and local restaurants) Didn't even have to crank up the car once we arrived. I highly recommend.

Loved our stay here but the air unit for the entire upstairs was not cooling nearly enough to be comfortable to sleep upstairs! Luckily we had some extra space because it would have been miserable to sleep upstairs. Otherwise, the place is very nice and clean. Tried to contact maintenance but didn’t hear back until the day before we left.

Overall, we liked the place ok. The shower needs a deep cleaning, and there was a big moldy patch on the dining room ceiling. Location was great - short walk to beach, restaurants, and bike rental place. Upstairs never gets cool, so I wouldn't suggest sleeping in any of the bedrooms up there. Found dead bugs in the master bedroom and live bugs in the master bathroom tub. Backyard weeds were taller than our dogs. Yard is only about 7 feet wide and wraps around house. Won't be staying here again but it worked for the short time we were there.

Convenient location to town and the beach. Just a few blocks walk. The house is very roomy. Bigger than we thought. We will not rent this property again. The AC did not work. The floors were dirty. Carpets stained, dirty and disgusting. Wore shoes always. Master shower is moldy. There were wet towels in guest bath when we arrived. The Conveniency was great that’s it.

We had a wonderful time visiting Tybee Island for Spring break! Our kids loved getting their own space upstairs and being within walking distance to restaurants, ice cream shops and of course the beach! this was the perfect location for our age group they loved having different activities every day from the lighthouse to the beach to a day visit in Savannah. We look forward to coming back again.

This house is in a wonderful location. We parked our cars and walked everywhere we went. It is spacious and clean. Upstairs was a little hot when we arrived but luckily there was a cool front that came through so it cooled off. Would definitely recommend this house!

Case in point, a party began next door at 7 pm and lasted until 5 am the following morning. Extremely loud music and party goers. Great for them not for us. The bedrooms are all affected by this.

Other than that - we enjoyed our stay. But the Sunday into Monday party on the night before we were leaving made for a sleepless night before a 9-hour drive home.

As frequent visitors, we have rental many places. This was by far our favorite! Excellent location, super clean, spacious, and had everything we needed plus more. We couldn't have been more comfortable during our stay. Highly recommend Tybee Southern Comfort!!

This place is great. The location Is super convenient with walking distance to the beach. The house is charming and has abundant supplies and more! Would strong recommend anybody and would love to come back again one day.

Kids loved the upstairs loft/balcony. Lots of hangout spots. Comfy beds and quiet neighborhood.

The location was perfect.

The reservation process was easy, the house is within walking distance to the beach, pier and shops. The house was large enough to accommodate our two families, although it needed some maintenance. The stove had three burners that worked, there weren’t enough dishes and cookware for us (as we planned to prepare most of our meals at the house), and one of the beds was broken. The property’s maintenance man was able to fix the upstairs AC and replace a light over the staircase quickly after several problems were reported with the house. Other issues weren’t remedied during our stay, which was unfortunate. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this location and would go back if the home was a little better cared for.

Wonderful area and great house! We love Tybee!

Ok stay during winter for Ohioans to escape cold/snow. Chose house because it allowed pets, cleanliness is superficial and why I gave it a 3-4 star rating for this reason: downstairs toilet was turned off and when turned on- had no running water to it until about day 3 when I started taking pictures of the stuff that was wrong upon arrival. It then miraculously started working. The coffee maker was dirty where you put coffee, my sheets had dog hair on them prior to our use- kind of a lot that it made me ? if they were washed, they left the dirty pad on the floor sweeper they cleaned with PTA, we moved chair in living room to face tv-filth under chair, our clothes were damp from the drive up since it rained so we threw in dryer on arrival- did not get dry at 1st so I checked the lint catcher- full and filthy(gross I had to touch that/empty someone else’s crud) & was never cleaned PTA. Property manager sent introduction text with entry method right around check in time- caused a little stress of not knowing how we would get in, wish it stated on booking what to expect on entry so we weren’t pondering. Dog scent everywhere as our dog kept smelling around all over every day making me wonder if dog potty is all over the place (though the house does not smell of pet, just old)- stains on rug in living room so I’m sure dog potty is present. Not much of a grass area in backyard. Stove has got to go- electric burners they have on it do not fit stove causing it to lean, makes it very difficult to cook on. Coffee cups provided are too small- only one descent size one so I bought another & left it there for future customers. It was rainy/gloomy there during our visit- one week in February (only one sunny day- so we did an extra 6hr drive to Port St. Lucie Florida) for two days just to get sun- now that was worth it. So we didn’t stay the whole paid stay there. We ended up escaping to escape. Although the house allows dogs, dogs are not allowed on tybee beach (only on tybee island by boat)- not going to do that during winter there when cold/rainy/gloomy. So we did end up driving one day to Hilton Head, SC (1 Hr from beach house) to take our dog to beach. Looks like they are trying to do updates to the house. Plenty of room for enough people to stay. The 2 bottom rooms share a wall-can hear everything & anything. Would we stay again- no. Walk down street to beach, paid parking w/broken meter, paid dbl after using card/then app- recommend use app 1st.

Our stay was wonderful and we plan to return. The house was clean and conviently located to shops, restaurants and the beach. The property was in a quiet residential neighborhood. Everyone was very friendly. The backyard was very small and there wasn’t really grass like advertised.

Great location, plenty of room and beds.

Ample space, cleanliness, close to everything, nicely decorated.
Only minus was WiFi and itchy sheets.
