This home is perfect for a couple. It was clean , kitchen had all the tools if you decide to stay in. Artim was an excellent host and his communication was outstanding.

My partner and I had a wonderful stat in Kitty Hawk and enjoyed the rental. It was very clean, the couch and bed were super comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you could need, whether you want to cook at home or go out for dinner. There is only one bathroom so plan accordingly. The communication was flawless and Artim responded almost instantly whenever I had a question. Also very short drive to the beach (about 2 min) Highly recommend and would definitely stay again in the future.

The booking, check-in and check-out processes were a breeze. The host was good about communicating the available amenities provided, ability for early check in and in following up about our trip and stay at the property. The accommodation was really nice and perfect for our needs - a relaxing beach weekend. We'll consider this host's other properties again in future.

We weren't sure where we wanted to stay in the Outer Banks but the convenient and central location in Kitty Hawk worked perfectly to give us access to several islands and locations. The very comfortable unit was beautifully decorated and it met all of our hopes and expectations. And having complimentary access to the beach umbrella and chairs with the many choices for neighboring beach access was a big plus. In addition, our host was a great communicator and made each step of the rental experience pleasant, simple, and easy - including some great recommendations of local restaurants. If you are looking for something central in the OBX and Kitty Hawk, we would highly recommend.

We came down to celebrate my husbands birthday and had a great time. The bed is super comfy with great bedding. Location was convenient and I have no complaints!

Very clean, comfortable top floor unit with two other rentals on bottom floor. Never heard neighbors; extremely quiet inside. King size bed and bedding is very comfortable; light and bright in the early morning so bring a sleep mask. Plenty of beach gear to borrow; chairs, umbrella, etc. Easy and quick drive to beach. No washer/dryer on property.

We had a wonderful time in the OBX! This apartment was located in the middle of everything, making daily trips to see the sights all over the OBX an easy ride. It was very clean, quiet, & comfortable. We loved all the special touches in the decor & the kitchen was fully equipped. You definitely have to drive to the beach due to the very busy 4 lane major highway to cross, but it is very close to multiple beach access areas with free parking. The guide emailed to us was super helpful for finding great restaurants & places to visit! Make sure you plan to wake up early to watch the sunrise over the ocean from the deck. The view was beautiful on cloudless & cloudy days! The only issue we had was the internet lagging. I had to work remotely occasionally during our trip. It was a good thing my laptop has cellular access, or I would have been in trouble. While watching Netflix, the shows often paused to catch up so that we gave up trying to watch something a few times. Communication was top notch, though, & we highly recommend this apartment!

Me and my husband enjoyed our stay at this beautiful little apartment. The place was plenty of room for just me and my husband. Was very aesthetically decorated. Could probably use a new shower head in the bathroom, this one works fine but water pressure isn’t great. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice apartment to watch the world go by! It was exactly as described online. Very clean, well equipped, plenty of space for two.

The time spent in this home was amazing! It was cozy, clean, beautifully decorated with convenient amenities, outdoor space for sitting, and it was hard to get out of that comfy bed! The host was excellent, and very accommodating - especially with an issue regarding the extreme temperature drop one night. I had several options of where to stay, and this was not my first trip to the OBX, but I could not have picked a better place! Lots of things to do and see (Elizabethan Gardens, Aquarium, etc.) and the locals were very nice too! I'll be back for sure!

I first want to say that this was a last-minute booking because another condo I had rented at Barrier Island Station was so awful that we could not stay there. This was one of the easiest rentals I’ve had and the owner was so helpful with information and things to do. Great communication!!! When we walked into the apartment, I was amazed at how clean and well decorated it was. The bed was super comfortable 💯💯and such a great layout there. I would change nothing and we will be back again. Thank you for all you help and having saved our vacation!

1. Apartment is better than advertised 2. Location is central and not crowded. (Close to beach, restaurants, conv store) 3. Access to beach equipment is a top notch amenity, that should not be taken lightly! We have stayed in many VRBOs over the years but I seldom leave a review. However, this residence is the cat’s meow and deserves the time and effort. It was first class all the way from the furnishings to the management. We won’t just stay at the Welch again if we are in the area; we would travel to Kitty Hawk just to stay here!

The condo was just like the pictures…very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. It’s in a great location and awesome to have a view of the ocean from the bedroom and outside porch! Highly recommend staying here.

This property is beautifully situated on the hill overlooking the ocean to the east. The view is first rate, and beautiful. We greatly enjoyed the central location of this cozy, well appointed upper level dwelling. Thanks to the host, we were provided area dining and attraction information, and clean, secure accommodations. We felt like the host was glad we chose to stay at this property. We would highly recommend it.

On the spur of the moment we decided to head to the outer banks for a weekend away. We enjoy staying inVRBO properties and the size and comfort of this rental was perfect for the two of us. The kitchen was nicely equipped, all the appliances worked well and the geographic location was excellent as we enjoy restaurants both in Nags Head and Duck. Owner is gracious and his communications were timely.

My husband and I were suffering from cabin fever and wanted to get away from all the wintry mix up north. The Welch was perfect! I've learned that if one is doing a winter getaway, then it's important to choose an enjoyable indoor space where one is happy to be inside. The furnishings, layout, and kitchen (we like to cook) of the Welch were wonderful. My husband and I enjoyed seeing the ever-changing light and moods of the ocean from the bedroom windows. The Outer Banks is quiet in the winter, which was fine by us. We enjoyed being able to take breaks to walk on the beach or at nearby nature preserves. The property manager was great and very responsive. All in all, the perfect getaway!

Easy to rent

This was a lovely property that was decorated with all the comforts of home. We very mush enjoyed our stay. It was cozy and spacious, everything was exactly as they said.Do notethat htere are stairs to the unit just in case you can,t do stairs. The owner /host was wonderful, quickto respond and very helpful. Their binder with suggestions on where to eat and things to do came in very helpful. Such nice little touches! We really enjoyed our first time to the OBX and would definitely stay here again if we return.
