A small frog in our toilet showed up but we call the house keeper and suddenly they took it out. Super helpful as me and the kids were funny scared!

Almost a 40min trip to the entrance of yala national park. The duvet comforter was not smooth ,had underwent many washes 🙈

The design of the property is stunning and the pool area is beautiful with the colours blending in to its natural surroundings. We’ve stayed in a lot of hotels travelling around Sri Lanka and this was one of our favourites. Lovely room. Well equipped and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I also had a massage in the spa which was wonderful. We booked here for two nights ready for our safari which the hotel organised. The company they used were good with a very experienced guide. We learnt lots. The quality of the food on the a la carte menu was very good. We dined from this both nights.

Room preparation/cleaning was done in a hurry after our arrival and some items were missing but it was corrected quickly. Some lack of information provided by receptionnist (e.g. safari)

The pool is really nice, big bright and nice bathroom, amazing ladies at the Balinese SPA, the breakfast is overcrowded but good and the overall the nature surroundings is the highlight of the stay.

- Room Service is terrible, three times order, three mistakes. The staff needs more training in my opinion. We called the receptionist to pick up our trays after in-room dining, however the trays are still there collecting ants by the time we went for breakfast. -The room cleaning, needs to be taken seriously. The staff entering the room with slightly muddy shoes, it was raining outside therefore it’s common sense to open your shoes before cleaning the room, the carpet is not that clean because of that. I have to request for proper cleaning even after the housekeeping done. -The property is huge and nice but looks like it’s understaffed. -The balcony door is not soundproofed, we can hear the music from the rooftop bar at almost every night and the party in the lake side/pool side loud and clear. When you have a baby, ask the furtherest room from the rooftop bar.

Great central location and well maintained property. The experience was overall great. The F&B Manager Mohan took well care of our food timings since we were fasting.

After few hours of check in, small insects came to the toilet seat. We asked the hotel to fix it and they did but was a scary experience initially to see the sight

Facility is nice and spacious…comfortable beds, nice shower and overall rooms are very good.

The staff require a lot of training on customer service in all departments. F&B was very basic, the food, buffet lacked variety and was constantly the same every breakfast and dinner and a bit worn out. You are constantly charged for water at breakfast or dinner as this is not part of the setup!! Service very slow, often orders come in very late and wrong as staff don’t really speak or understand English. Reception staff try to be helpful but also very limited in terms of problem solving, responses were kept to a bare minimum. Systems they use are outdated…on checkout, the hotel couldn’t charge the full amount (which wasn’t really a significant amount) at one go and had to do multiple transactions which resulted in a blocked credit card. Housekeeping never replace or put new towels in the room despite being reminded! Kids area looked like deserted mini park with few swings and a climbing wall that’s out of service. No staff or attendants were there at any time of the day.

A nice pit stop if you’re including Yala in your itinerary. Although it is still a drive from the national park that wasn’t a problem for us as we had a driver but keep this in mind. Lovely hotel, really comfortable/luxurious bedroom suite. Breakfast and lunch were good and the staff were all extremely pleasant and accommodating.

We ate off the a la carte dinner menu and it was pretty average, would rate it the lowest for our entire holiday. You are also limited in where you can eat as it’s in a small town.

Staff were friendly and helpful organising the safari to Yala for us, although they forgot to place the order for the breakfast as request. The buffet dinner and breakfast were excellent as well as the pool which was quite large.

Swimming pool was amazing. Big pool, nice swim up bar, buffet food was great. Photos of the pool dont do justice - it was beautiful

Spent here beautiful 4 days❤️ it’s really best hotel in Sri Lanka which extends the expectation. The staff is brilliant, everyone from the reception to the house kipper. Definitely worth it if you are planning Yala or other safari tours, because it is located near 3 Safaris. Planning Safari? Ask Harsche- the best Safari driver, a real eye hunter of wild animals with very comfortable car. Greetings to Sinury- a beautiful and kind girl from the reception ( sorry, if I wrote your name not correctly) . Spa and balinese therapists were professional. My whole family is grateful, you have taking good care of us.

Absolute unique hotel by the lake with superb facilities, especially the pool. The staff were amazing and always accommodating our every need. Perfect stay. I just wish we stayed longer.

The hotel is amazing. Hotel as a building seems to cooperate with nature, is surrounded by beautiful trees, lake, animals! Personel is really helpful, always smiling. We visited 4 hotels during our Sri Lanka Trip and that one was the best. If you consider safari in Yala just take that hotel and my recommendation is stay at least 4 nights. Belize me you will rest and relax like never before :) We had half board types, both breakfast and dinners were excellent!

The swimming pool is stunning. The hotel is a great spot to relax. The room was big and really comfortable. We had a couple massage which was really worth it.

The restaurant menus are a bit deceptive in terms of prices and food quality. The breakfast buffet is Gargantuesque (which can be seen as a good point or bad…). The room does not provide a hairdryer but we could request one at the reception.

We booked a junior suite and WoW - just stunningly presented - huge apartment type suite - The restaurant is very extensive with a vast buffet type offer - the selection was predominantly Asian led, but there was something for everyone. The grounds, facilities and views were outstanding - the interior decor of the hotel communal areas were enriched and tasteful throughout. All the team members in every department shone through to make this hotel our top experience of our three week tour staying within similar standard hotels across sri lanka - well done Hilton

The dining offer was limited to either buffet style in a very busy bun fight type restaurant - or one other roof top restaurant which leaned too much toward fish which isn't to everyone's like - I felt there was room for at least one alternative dining offer such as a grill room / italian / western style offer - We didn't feel the inclusive dinner was value for money based on this expereince.

It was not as clean in the room as I would have expected from Hilton. I have taken pictures and sent in directly along with a few other updates. They have acknowledged but not responded. The spa has steam showers which were not advertised. The area outside the gym is crying out for TLC Ideal for some morning roof top yoga or tai chi. There should be some quiet zones so we can hear the birds - music pumped out in every corner included outdoors and on roof. Better hotel bases activities for rainy days

We liked Everything about this hotel. It is a very nice, modern, clean, spacious hotel. The service is exceptional, people are friendly and always ready to help. The food (breakfast and dinner) had a good variety of different options, spicy and not, the restaurant is beautiful.
