Overall, very pleased with the house and its many amenities. We didn't get to take advantage of all of them, but if we come back, now we know better what to expect. While we understood the need for all of the 'rules' and instructions sent to us ahead of time, it did feel a bit off-putting when every potential infraction was listed with a corresponding fine.
Wanted to click other and list co-workers for who stayed at property, but this form wouldn't let us do that.

My family stayed here to celebrate my mom’s 70th. The house is gorgeous, comfortable, and so fun. We loved playing ping pong, hanging out on the rooftop Skybar, riding bikes to the beach, and cooking on the outdoor smoker and grill. The owner is super nice and communicative. Highly recommend this amazing place.

This house is absolutely amazing. It has everything you need, and more! It ended up raining most of our stay, unfortunately, so we weren't able to get to the beach as much as we'd expected. Luckily the house is so awesome, the rain didn't damper our mood at all. The rooftop jacuzzi was a big hit, rain or shine! The house is so spacious-- it didn't feel like we were on top of each other at all. Everyone had a fantastic time, despite the weather. The house truly has it all!
The owner Jay is also super awesome-- he is very helpful with his messages leading up to your stay & gets back to your text messages very quickly.
Not only is the house awesome, its location is unbeatable. Even my lazy 3 year old didn't have a problem walking to the beach :)
I would love to be able to stay here again in the future!! 10 stars, for sure.

Our stay at Cabbo's Beach House was magnificent. The property is a nice easy walk to town and the ocean. The property is beautiful and well thought out. Whomever decorated the house made each room and bathroom spectacular. We loved the rooftop setting for sunsets and relaxing; the 3rd floor open area/kitchen was so large that the entire family was easily accommodated. Beds were very comfortable. All amenities were first class with shampoo, body wash, bath towels, hot tub towels, beach towels all available for everyone. We loved the kitchen with every possible mixing bowl, pot, pan, dish you'd ever need available. We didn't get to use all the sporting equipment as we were busy with a wedding in SLO, but if there was anything you can think of, the equipment was there--bikes, boards, kayaks, wagons, sun canopies and on and on!
We loved Cabbo BeachHouse and can't thank Jay and Lisa for the hospitality and excellent instructions on making the stay the best possible. We'll be back!

Our families gathered to celebrate our recent marriage. The house absolutely exceeded our expectations. The amenities and appliances were over the top! Everything was exceptionally clean and organized. The attention to detail was extraordinary. We were impressed with the owner's response to our needs and his willingness to ensure our stay was perfect. And it was-Perfect!

This is an amazing house with what I would call 'next level' luxury. Details were well thought out from the 3 dishwashers, washer/dryers and coffee makers to the automated locks, remote shades and elevator. Everything worked as it should. Technology was well documented and remotes were well organized.
Pictures and floorplan were very accurate. We had no negative surprises and the house exceeded our high expectations. Quality materials and furniture used in the home. Decorating was very pleasant and high ceilings made all of the rooms impressive but still comfortable.
The great room and patio are perfect for a large group. We had 15 adults at dinner and it was very comfortable.
Soundproofing between floors is excellent
The toys and amenities provided everything we needed. The group really enjoyed playing ping pong. The golf cart made it easy for those who were unable to walk to the beach and restaurants.

This house did not disappoint, especially with 12 high maintenance hair dressers! Us girls travel once a year together and this is by far the best home yet. The pictures and virtual tour does not do justice to how beautiful this home was in person! This felt like a home, not a rental property! Location couldn't be better and views were stunning, especially on the roof top. Cobbo's Beach House is AMAZING and can't wait to return! Thank you Jay for being so accommodating and sharing your home with us...

I would recommend this to all my friends and family and anyone who would listen to me. We had the best time. It’s close to the beach and restaurant. The pictures are good but the house was over the top.

We had 14 adults and 5 kids stay 4 days at this property, if you’re looking for a great beach city, modern property, exceptional accommodations, and a responsive owner, look no further. There is too much cool stuff to name but here are a few highlights, an elevator, golf cart, comfortable beds, a lot of beds, jacuzzi on the roof, a washer and dryer on every floor, and a pool table. If your family likes to cook, the kitchen and deck has everything you would need to cook tasty meals for your family. Jay has made this year’s summer family get away perfect for us. The property is a short walk to the Avila beach and park and about a 10 min drive to Pismo. Highly recommend and we will certainly be back.

Our family group of 13 spent the July 4th week at the Cobbo’s home. Everything was just perfect for the young and old. We enjoyed the numerous amenities and appreciated all the fine details put into the home. We have made wonderful memories here in Avila. Thanks to Jay for being such a wonderful host!!

Cobbo’s was amazing. Everything was first rate, from communication with the owner, to the pristine property, to the location. This is the place you want to stay. Our family of 12 loved everything about it. We’ve probably enjoyed 40 VRBO stays over the years, and this is in the top 3, which says a lot. Thank you, Jay, for sharing your home with us!

Our family had such a wonderful and relaxing time at Cobbo’s Beach House! We had family of all ages and needs and this house fit everyone’s needs perfectly. The amenities included were endless from fire pits, hot tubs, pool table, bikes, beach equipment and the list goes on and on. Nothing was overlooked when they built this beautiful home. So impressive and so amazing! Jay was very informative and detailed which made check in, check out and the entire stay a pleasure. We hope we are fortunate to return for a future stay.

I rented this home for our friends & family from out of town to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday. Everyone was BLOWN AWAY! The house had everything we needed for cooking, listening music and drinking cocktails overlooking the ocean. We will all be talking about this place for years to come. 100% recommend!

Loved the property. It was the perfect accommodation for age 60+ siblings. Couldn’t have done it without the elevator which made it possible for those with limited mobility to enjoy all the festivities.

What an amazing house! We had four families stay at Cobbo's Beach House for spring break. From the minute we booked the property to our check out, Jay was the most generous, accommodating host I have ever rented from! The bedrooms are all perfectly appointed, and the kitchen had absolutely everything a home chef would need, plus room for gathering for at least people comfortably. The sky bar was amazing for early morning coffee and sunset happy hour, and the deck off the great room hosted many games and thoughtful conversations. Honestly, we barely got to the beach! This a a 5 star property and if I could give Jay 6 stars I would. We will definitely be back!

This place was awesome! Jay went over and above to make sure we were comfortable and happy!! The beds were amazingly comfortable! There were 17 of us and never felt crowded! We didn’t want to leave!! The area is quiet and lots to do!! We will be back!!

This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for my family, and we couldn’t have asked for better accommodations! From the gym in the basement to the expansive main level with well-appointed kitchen and large deck to the rooftop deck and spa, it was all there. The elevator was an added bonus for transporting food and luggage, as well as those people who were less mobile. All just a couple of blocks from the beach! And the owner was always available when we had questions or needed assistance. We had an all around amazing time and would recommend this property to anyone!

Amazing property! It was home to 11 women ranging in age from 76 to 46. Plenty of room to gather and spread out to have some quiet. Kitchen was well equipped, clean and usable - we cooked all our meals there together. The owner, Jay, was easy to communicate with, took our suggestions to heart and provides an awesome property. Location is perfection. Easy jaunt to the beach (place has great beach equipment) also easy walk to shops and restaurants. If you are coming for wine tasting, there are some great tasting rooms within walking distance and 300 more within an hour or in many cases less! Would love to come back.

Beautiful location, very responsive owner, clear instructions on how to use the many amenities available in the home. Highly recommend this really nice home and its perfect location in Avila Beach. We were easily able to visit local wineries and also enjoy the beach.

Fantastic house for a family gathering of people aged 24 through 84! We enjoyed all the beach gear and household activities. The kitchen was well-stocked with kitchen equipment and place settings to handle our group. We will definitely consider renting again if we're in the area!!

The property was beautiful and had all the “bells and whistles!” Great location. There were 6 of us staying at the property and we all had plenty of space when we needed down time. The “Great Room” next to the kitchen was our central gathering place, as we ate, listened to music and watched college football. Would absolutely go back. Jay was extremely quick to respond whenever we had a question and we greatly appreciated him taking care of us. Cheers!

My son was getting married at the Avila Beach Golf Resort so we rented this house for our family members ranging in age from 21-89 years old. The house is just wonderful and we all had a fantastic time. I highly recommend it!
