We had a fantastic time at torch lake and surrounding area this past week . The property is a perfect location at the lake , directly across from the famous sandbar. The owners of the property were amazing as well and the place was extremely clean and newly renovated with a beachy feel . The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes and everything needed to make our meals and feel at home . The upper deck was great to sit at and relax and enjoy and even warm up by a fire when nights would get chilly. Everything was wonderful and we’ve made some good friends along the way 😊 thank you for making it such a great stay ! We will be back !!!

I loved kayaking every day and the fact that the sandbar was directly across the street.

Great location! The deck was awesome for morning coffee and evening dinner by the fire overlooking the lake. Renting the boat from the owners was super convenient with the boat house out back. Family and friends already requested for us to rent next year.

I almost don't want anyone else to know how amazing this place and its owners are, just so we can come back whenever we want! We honestly can't stop talking about our week there - how adorable and spotless it was, how convenient the location was, how much fun we had, how awesome the owners and other guests were. Such a perfect location on the river with access to boat house and the sandbar right across the street. Owners did such a great job renovating this place for optimal fun, and were available for anything you may need. Party deck was the best!! Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to rent in this area. Option to rent their boats as well so you can really experience the Chain of Lakes.

We had the best time here! Convenience to everything. Renting the boat on site was a breeze. Loved that you just walk across the street and can enjoy the sandbar if you don't have boat. Kayaks on site were also a breeze to use with the kayak launch. We saw a loon that would swim right next to us! Walk to the River shack for pizza or ice cream or adult slushies is a must! Don't forget your own bath towels tho (we missed that on the description). A quick drive to Alden for some shopping and lunch was great on our cooler day. What a perfect location!!

This property will not disappoint! Centrally located near several small towns to explore as well as the beautiful lake and areas to hike! Our only downfall was the weather at the time of our stay, but we made the best of it!

The space is efficient, well located and nicely decorated. My teens loved the deck for hanging out at night around the gas fire table. Great stay.

Perfect location on the Torch River across the street from Torch Lake. Boat launch nearby. Two bedroom with comfy bed and updated bathroom. Owners very responsive. We loved our stay and hope to return next year.

You'd be hard pressed to find better lodging for a Torch Lake vacation. Across the street is a little/park beach where you can get a nice view of the lake, play in the water or even walk out to the sandbar. Next to the property is a public launch you can use to launch the provided kayaks to explore in the back canal. As many others have mentioned, the top deck is fantastic for hanging out, grilling, eating, drinking or just enjoying the fire. The owners promised further upgrades in the interior but it was perfectly fine as is. You can tell they care about their property and the experience they are providing with the well-equipped kitchen and decorative touches including indoor plants. We rented both apartments for 6 people. 6 people in one would be very crowded. I'd probably only attempt that with young kids. We lucked out with the weather. Got a little rain/overcast for two days but had warm, sunny weather five days. Lots of memories were made.

We loved staying at this rental which was right across the street from the public access to the Torch Lake Sandbar. The rental was also so convenient as it had a boat slip that we could tie up our Pontoon that we rented for the day-so easy to load up coolers and beach bags. The Upper Deck sure was a bonus too with a propane fire pit, bar area and lots of room to play Corn Hole and the Connect Four game they had. The only worry with young kids in our group was that the street was so busy with traffic. Thank you for being wonderful hosts!

We loved our stay at the Upper Deck. We had a larger group and rented both sides. The addition of the upper deck adds an amazing amount of space to hang out. The location is perfect - especially for those with a boat. The boat garage is 2 steps behind the cottage! We will definitely be coming back!

Meagan and her family were very pleasant to deal with. This place is located right by public beach access where you can walk out to the sand bar on torch lake. The family had A nice pontoon boat that we rented during the stay. The marina and store is right in the channel on the way to the lake. Everything you need is right nearby. The deck is great for grilling out in the evening and cooking breakfast in the morning We hope to go back in the future and bring more friends and rent both units. would recommend 2 couples per side.

This is a wonderful property. The inside is small really for 4 comfortably although if you have six you’re really just sleeping there 😊. Being able to have the top deak is awesome. Has your our bar area, chais and a fire pit, Cornhole and a giant connect four game. The view is so pretty . You have water access in the back yard and a public access beach directly across the street. It is a small beach. The beat thing is you can walk to the sand bar form the beach area. There are two kayaks that you can use, which is so much fun! All in all probably the best Renata we have had.

This property is in an awesome location, directly across the street from Torch Lake public access, where you can walk out on the sandbar several hundred yards to where the boats hang out, with the water never more than chest deep. The property has kayaks for use, a boat slip, and a beautiful upper deck area with a fire pit, bar, gas grill, games etc. The owners have put a lot of work into redesigning and decorating the entire property. Pride of ownership really shows! In addition, they are exceptional hosts who extended a warm welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the perfect summer get away. Thank you!!.

If I could...I would rate 10 stars!!!! This was our first time staying here. This was absolutely perfect. We have rented many places on torch and on the river, and would highly recommend this and would rent again! The property was as advertised and the owners were helpful and and very nice!

We stay here for the forth of July and couldn't have been happier. The upstairs rooftop is a great place to hang out during the day, the place is located right across from the public access to Torch lake allowing you to walk over to the sandbar. The boat slips included are excellent if you are looking to rent a boat during your stay. Would definitely rent this place again!

We so enjoyed our stay at Upper Deck. The deck on the roof provided an outdoor space with a great view for fun during the day, and great conversations around the fire in the evenings. I definitely would stay here again.
