We treated ourselves to the comforts, lots of beach time, sunrises, training runs and bike rides, Jockey's Ridge, kayaking in the ocean, visit to Wright Memorial and Snow Bird ice cream. As for the house, our hot tub was unusable for a few days as it was dirty and we called to have it cleaned. When there to clean it it was determined that it needed a new part. He did come back and fix it but again it was mid week before we could get in it. The carpets had multiple stains. The top floor has no closet??? And they toilet up there doesn’t flush very well. And the house it’s self definitely needs some updates!

Watching the sunrises from the deck is a plus. The beds were the best of any beach house we have stayed in. The elevator helped when we arrived and when we left loading and unloading.

Seven of us shared 6 days on the Outer Banks at Fly Boys, a large beachfront home which could easily accommodate a larger group. The house was clean, neat and supplied for almost all needs. Arriving a hour before earliest normal check in, we called the manager and, after a quick check to assure all was ready, we were given access to the home. LOTS of deck space on different levels as well as outdoor spaces, all nicely appointed. Very comfortable home with just enough diversionary items (games. books, television, Bluetooth sound system, etc., to occupy all of us (21-75) on cooler or rainy days. Would recommend this home and the managers to anyone.

We enjoyed our NYE 2022 & 60th birthday weekend! We had all of the amenities we needed & we were thrilled to be able to enjoy the dune-top deck and beach as the weather was gorgeous!

The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I have seen in all of my years of renting beach houses. We had a few minor maintenance issues, which were taken care of very quickly. The property was clean and the location was fantastic. Great sunrises and sunsets from both sides of the house. Would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed at many VRBO properties and this was far and away my BEST experience. This includes my experience from the initial inquiry to check out. Both the owners and the management company were always responsive and answered all of my questions. Check in was simple, we received texts to keep us updated on check in and other reminders. I would recommend this as an amazing property to use for friends and family. it is centrally located so it is easy to get to the many amazing and wonderful attractions, if you can pull yourself away from the beach. 5 STARS!!!

But the best was the location, so close to the ocean the sound of the waves lulled is to sleep at night! We had a concern with the gas grill upon our arrival but it was addressed within a few hours! Although the furnishings were nice and some quite new, there were obviously known maintenance issues with the property (one master bedroom had no electricity and another had tape over several outlets indicating a known problem; one toilet seat was disintegrating; to name a few things ) and it needed to be cleaned more thoroughly (there were dust blobs hanging from the ceiling in one bedroom, coffee stains in the kitchen, the coffee maker was really dirty, etc.) The rental company responded to our third call about the electrical issues and sent someone out, but the problem returned.
The deck area was very nice and the beach access is fantastic. The location of the property is great and the house could be very nice with some TLC.
