My family and I stayed for our trip to Universal. The location was nice, large and greay location to Universal (8 min drive). Could park two cars in the driveway and was generally easy to get in and out of the property. Owner was easy to communicate with and helped with any questions we had.

We stayed a couple of nights and used each bedroom and bathroom. All were in good working order. Beds were comfortable. There are only 2 bathrooms with showers and one is in a bedroom. Two bedrooms are upstairs, two downstairs. Upstairs have bathrooms, with one only a claw foot tub. That was a bit of a bummer with 6 of us trying to get ready at the same time. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots and pans. We mostly ordered take out. House is on busy street, so Lyft/uber eats has to park on side street or in alley. So set pin appropriately. We didn’t utilize the outdoor space, but there is great contained and private courtyard with grill, dining and seating areas. We had a large SUV and it was difficult to park in back. There is no on street parking, so you need to be able to fit vehicle. We were able to fit it in, but barely and could not open back very much to get bags out. Once secured behind gate we opted for Lyft & Uber because it was a hassle to move. A smaller vehicle wouldn’t be a problem. Not sure how two would fit. The walk to grocery is about 1/2 mile downhill, so uphill on the way back.

Great property! Good location, clean, comfortable, and stylish. Nice size for 7 people including 3 couples.

This house is ideally located and is very spacious. Bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and clean. Melissa was responsive to requests for adequate kitchen tools and pots, which had not been on site. However the outdoor kitchen and space had not been cleaned in some time and all furniture was dirty. Leaves had not been swept out. Floors on the first floor were not clean. Cushions and indoor furniture were stained and shabby. There were no cleaning supplies on site to even clean outdoor furniture to make them usable. This was disappointing.

It was a great house, and great location

the location and the house are perfect, but the cleanliness needs a lot of improvement, dust and stains on the sofas and chairs, hair and dust on the pillows, and blankets are pretty dusty. As soon as you open the door smells really bad

The house was very nice and roomy. At a great location. The drive to Universal Studios was only like 10min. I would def recommend this place. And def would reserve this place to stay again.

Clean, convenient, easy check in and check out. Plenty of space, thoughtfully appointed, great experience.

Such a beautiful home and in a nice peaceful area. We loved the fact that it was so close to Universal Studios, and the fact there was ample space for our group of 10! Host Melissa was amazing, and quickly answered any questions we had! We recommended this VRBO to all of our friends and family for any future trips and will definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect. Easy walk to restaurants, grocery store and shops. Nice neighborhood to go for a run or walk in. The house was comfortable for the 7 of us. Easy to get to places such as Universal Studios, WB tour, downtown, etc. We would stay here again.

We love flying into the Burbank Airport and staying in Studio City, it’s the only way to go. This house was really nice, close to everything, comfortable for hanging out and watching a movie together, and really comfortable beds.

We found this last minute opportunity that all 4 couples thoroughly enjoyed! Quaint newly updated home with 4 queen beds for a comfortable stay ! I got ‘kudos’ from my biggest critics on the awesome find-and special thanks to Melissa for keeping me posted on all the important information. Check in was very easy and the house was perfect for hosting my extended family for the Christmas holiday. Communication with Melissa was prompt and thorough. Perfect location since it was walking distance to our house and all the great shops on Ventura.

Me and my group traveled all the way from the Southeast and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The house was extremely clean, easy to check into and located around a lot of attraction. Plenty of space for our large group to spread out.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The home was in good condition and the property manager was great to work with. Two things I was disappointed in. The bed linen was very poor quality. At the price I paid I expect good linen, like at a nice hotel. The beds had sheets that was very thin, and with stains. We were creeped out and ended up washing the sheets ourselves. The pillows were stained also. The other thing was the location on the website was about 1 mile off. The website showed the home in a quite neighborhood, the home as actually on a very busy, noisy sheet. Car noisy all hours of the night. Overall the home property was a nice home.

great value for the money

We recently stayed at this house in Studio City. We chose it primarily for it’s proximity to family we were visiting. The house is a good size for a guest party of 4-6 people. The rooms were spacious and inviting. The outdoor living space was certainly a highlight with a wonderful grilling station and abundant seating for lounging and dining. The only negatives were the road noise (we did not know Laurel Canyon was a busy street just outside the front gate) and the mattresses are getting old and need to be replaced. But, these issues did not prevent us from enjoying our time while staying at the house. Lastly, Melissa was very attentive and responsive. She could not have been better.

Our 9 nights in the property were fantastic. The house has everything to make your stay a home from home, it literally has everything you need. The bedrooms are all a good size with two en suite and a third bathroom on the ground floor. The ground floor space is great and with the outdoor seating and BBQ area , there’s nothing else you need. Within minutes of walking there’s shops and restaurants to cater for all your needs. The location is great to . 10 minutes from universal studios and Warner Bros studios, 30 mins from Santa Monica beach and 35-40 minutes from long beach or Disneyland. And being on Laurel canyon blvd, if you turn right from the house and drive for 10 minutes you be on Hollywood blvd or Sunset strip, passing through the magnificent Laurel Canyon on the way. So 5 star all round and Melissa is a great host and always very responsive if you need to contact her for anything. Thank you Melissa, for everything.
