We loved our stay! The online pictures do not do this property justice. Very spacious rooms with pretty decor that gives it a "home away from home" feeling. House has everything you could possibly need and is centrally located to the beach, the sound, stores, and restaurants. Most of the time we used the bicycles, which are provided, to get where we wanted to go. The neighborhood is quiet with only moderate traffic and friendly neighbors. What stood out was the overall immaculate cleanliness of the house and the little touches to make our furry family welcome as well. We celebrated a birthday while staying and the garage with tiki bar, TV, chairs, and grill where perfect! Communication with the owner was very easy and timely and the check in/out process as a breeze. We would highly recommend this property to family and friends and hope to stay here again! Thank you!

Great property for our group of family and friends. And love that dogs are welcome. Had a couple minor issues but Austin responded and addressed them immediately. Probably will come again for a third time!

This property is set up with all the essentials needed for an awesome stay in the Outer Banks. All the cooking utensils, even for the grill, bikes, horseshoes, hand soaps and toiletry provided . We did bring our own as well but if you are in OBX to do what most do, which is go to the beach and all the other attractions you won’t even need additional items because you won’t be there much. The cottage was very clean, homey feeling, and comfortable…per all my guests the beds were sooo comfortable. We had one of the greatest vacations there.

This is our second year staying at this property. The property is conveniently located, has all the amenities you need, and is well maintained. Owner is very responsive and easy to deal with.

Very pet friendly! When planning this family trip, I probably inquired about 50 homes that claimed to be pet friendly. And they were…if you have no more than 2 dogs. But we were planning this trip with all of our kids- and each of the 4 households has a dog. Austin was outstanding to work with, very promptly responded to my inquiry and extremely professional. We did pay a slightly higher pet deposit for the extra dogs, but it was very reasonable. The house was super clean, very spacious. The neighborhood was quiet, the sound accesses were beautiful. This house is close to the beach, close to grocery stores, shops, fishing piers- anything you could possible want is near. The house is very family oriented. The bedrooms are very spacious. The garage offers a perfect indoor/outdoor gathering space with the Tiki bar and the TV. The deck offers plenty of seating space and is a perfect spot to start and end your day! This house is clean and very well maintained. We will stay here again.

Very Clean, problem free.

We spent some great family time at this house last week, it was just perfect for that! It was located near many restaurants and was just a five-ten minute walk to the beach. The front porch was a nice gathering place and we all enjoyed our morning coffee out there each day. Austin was a fabulous host, made check in and check out extremely easy and always answered my texts very quickly. The house was very clean and comfortable; I would highly recommend this house for a nice place to get away, chill and relax!

Everything was just as it was described. Clean, well stocked, big enough for 3 couples and 2 kids. Easy to be dropped off at the Avalon Pier to hang out on the beach. Not really walkable, mostly due to the heavy traffic on the main bypass road. Neighborhood roads had quite a bit of traffic and they were going pretty fast for a neighborhood. I had to be careful while walking my dog or pushing a stroller.

This property was very clean and looks even better in person! Plenty of space and fun tiki vibe in the garage for evening BBQ. Brandnew deck was another nice place to unwind outdoors. Kids enjoyed the bikes as well! Austin was extremely attentive with always a quick respond to any question. We will definitely stay again! Highly recommend!

We spent 5 days at Austin’s property. It was immaculately clean and fit our group of 9 and a pup perfectly. The neighborhood is quiet and close to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was clean and exactly what we expected. LOVE the outside (in the garage) TV. We totally enjoyed our trip and the house made it all come together. Bathrooms for all!

We had a short but sweet stay at this house. Location is great - good access to both beach and sound. Close to many of major attractions. Beds very comfortable and kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed using the bikes exploring the neighborhood. Exceptionally clean!

Property is far better than it shows on vrbo photos. We group of three families enjoyed lots. It was cleaned, well organized and well equipped.

Stayed at Tiki and Tides over Christmas with my family. The house was immaculately clean and very cozy. Not able to (safely) walk to the beach, but it was a very short drive to the beach access. We loved how close it is to Jockeys Ridge, and Food Lion for quick grocery grab. The owner was very responsive and accommodating for my parent's pup to join us. Would 100 percent stay here again!

We LOVED our stay! Hands down the cleanest cottage I have stayed in. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed hanging out on the porch or by the garage grilling. You are a bike ride away from the sound or short (3-5 minute) drive to a beach access. Austin was a great host! He was SO accommodating and answered any and every question we had.

Property was clean, spacious, modern, well equipped and well-maintained. There were many amenities for the dogs as well, and the location was great, easily accessible to both the ocean beach and the Sound. Highly recommended!

This was such a clean place. The only downside Was it was not next to the beach. Great place. Will be back again

The rental is very new, with all amenities in good shape. There are smart TVs in each room. My family had fun playing in the front yard, throwing frisbees, and barbequing hotdogs. The neighborhood is interesting and attractive, totally safe. Many fun activities are within a short drive or walk.

We had the best time at this rental! The house was immaculately clean, well stocked, close enough to the beach to walk but not have crazy traffic. There were 9 of us, 5 kids and 4 adults and everyone loved it.

As a family we really enjoyed our time at this house. The online pictures didn’t do it justice. It’s more spacious than I had expected. The bedrooms were in great condition, the neighborhood was peaceful, with nearby shopping which was super convenient. We found everything to be comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised at the personal touches throughout the house. The kitchen was fully stocked in terms of what we needed. We did notice a few areas that could have been cleaned more thoroughly but this didn’t dampen our stay. The owner was surprisingly quick to respond to concerns and quite attentive to our needs. Overall a great place to stay!

It’s the perfect beach house that is located near all of the stops you’ll want to make in the Outer Banks (Wright Brothers Memorial, Brew thru’s, the dunes, and close to all kinds of rental places). Down the street is a nice walking/bike path we frequented for sunset strolls with our dog. Plenty of rooms for more family or friends than the 4 adults and 1 dog in our party. Place was super clean and spacious, and host was extremely communicative. The house was perfect for our needs. We would definitely stay there again. The Tiki bar and bikes came in very handy too!

We had a great time. The house is walkable to both the sound and the beach. Grocery store very close by. Plenty of room, even bunk beds were comfy!

We arrived a bit late to the property, but had no issues getting inside (and they even left the lights on for our arrival). The property was well represented online so getting oriented was a breeze. Owner checked in with us (via vrbo communication) the following morning - unexpected and a nice surprise. Property was clean and comfortable. Nice location. We took advantage of the walking and biking trail just down the road several times during our stay. The owner was responsive to questions and suggestions. Nice deck to hang out on, and an open kitchen with plenty of counter space. We'd definitely consider returning to this property for future visits.

We loved everything about our trip. The house was extremely clean and the property owners were wonderful. The house is in a great location and we were able to get to different beaches and sites within minutes! We highly recommend this property!
