This was our ninth year of having our Labor Day Family Retreat. We have been to Mentone, Al, Gulf Shore, AL, and beautiful Lake Martin. Lake Martin is not only centrally located, but is also our families favorite.

We had a wonderful time on our vacay. House was very nice and pier was great for swimming. We rented a pontoon boat from a nearby marina and had a great time on the water. Everything you could need was available at the house. Charcoal grill available and black stone grill which we used was very nice. Plenty of room for our family and little ones to play. Would definitely book again.

The house was large enough to accommodate 12 of us comfortably. The a/c cooled well, kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. Our favorite part was the location! It is located in a quiet area with the perfect swimming space for adults and kids. This house has a large dock so you can sit and watch the kids swim or have a little fun fishing. The deck is a great place to sit and enjoy morning coffee.

This was the PERFECT spot for our 2 families to get some relaxation and unplug! We were a group of 9 (2 families…4 adults, 5 teens 14-17) We loved the property and having access to the lily pad and peddle boat. Swimming and floating around the dock kept us all entertained for the majority of our stay. The downstairs area was awesome for the kids to just hang out and play games in the evenings. The set up on and near the dock for sitting and hanging out was probably our favorite spot. We loved being in the quiet cove, it made our stay so peaceful. Would definitely stay again and will recommend this listing to other friends wanting to vacation at Lake Martin!

The property was exactly what we needed for the family vacation with 10 people. Plenty of space, beds, and baths for everyone. The cove was beautiful, the location was great, and the house upper and lower patios were awesome.

Great place more room than most and has all the extras pool table, Foosball, big TV's giant showers and plenty of beds.

The place was well described and we had a great time. We brought our boat. Union Boat Ramp was only about 10 minutes away and free to use. The house dock was very nice and provided a place for us to tie off on the outer perimeter (owners boat was in slip on lift). I wish we had more time to explore the lake but we did all we could with 2 full days on the water. Thanks

We had a lovely stay at the lake spending time with our kids that attend Auburn. It was enough room for kids, parents and grandparents and dogs.

Perfect house for the perfect parents weekend at Auburn ! Easy ride back and forth to campus. Close enough to restaurants on water. And a great house with plenty of room. The owner has done an amazing job with the outside deck / landscaping / lake area. There is no need to stay inside due to the amazing backyard. Thank you for everything !

Very easy checkin, house just like website says. This was our second time to rent this house. New owners have done great updates. Really like the bathroom you can get to from outside. Kids loved the swim mat at boat dock. Steps coming out of water was a little slippery but that can’t be helped ! House had everything we needed beds were comfortable and clean! Will definitely be back!

We loved the house and location! It was just my family of 4 and we had plenty of room for more people. Everything was clean and nice. The brand new bathroom downstairs was an added bonus. We enjoyed playing pool every night, as well. Very quiet area! We will definitely be back!

Great location in quite cove. Very nice boat dock. New large deck with all essentials for grilling. Lake house has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Plenty of parking if you have a boat trailer. Short boat ride to Chuck’s marina for dinner and happy hour. Stephanie is great! We have stayed many times. Love this place. Highly recommend.

Great time at the lake. Home has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths on main floor with outside deck with table and chairs and grill. Bottom floor is large living/game room with 2 bunks and bed and new bathroom. This area also has nice covered patio area with chairs and rockers and fire pit. The walk to the water is down stone stairs, very pretty and a good workout for the legs. Lounge chairs plenty and stairs going into the water. Deck and paddle boat are nice, the new water pad didn’t arrive before we left but we enjoyed ourselves. Nice little fridge on the dock for cold beverages/snacks. We also enjoyed some fishing and feeding ducks and turtles. We had so much fun! Thank you for sharing your home.

We loved our stay here! The house was adorable snd fit our needs perfectly! The views were gorgeous!

This was our first time to Lake Martin and I must say it was great.

When we arrived, we immediately noticed that the lake was at a 6 year low. The boat dock was not accessible, which was opposite of the online property description. We contacted the owner and they suggested we drive to and use the public boat ramp. It was inconvenient, but the only option. The owners have done many upgrades to the yard and it is beautiful. The house was decorated for Christmas and that was an unexpected touch! There were two minor issues with the basement. A small puddle of standing water was in the basement when we arrived. After contacting the owner, we were told to put towels down and someone came to look at it the next day. Additionally, the basement living room was very cold. Heaters were brought, but they tripped the breaker. At that point we stopped asking and just used the top floor. The owners are responsive and seem to care about the property. The lake level is clearly out of the owner's control, but they should have updated their description about low lake levels. The other issues, while inconvenient, wouldn't keep us from renting here again. Thank you for a quiet Christmas.

We had the perfect week! The house was great for the 4 of us! The owners were a pleasure to deal with! Lightening hit the internet boxes and a tv and they had the company out to replace boxes and brought a new tv within hours! Would highly recommend! We will definitely be back!

Rest and relaxation. Came for an Auburn football game (which we, predictably, lost), but the highlight was cards and pool with friends downstairs in the game room. Leaves were turning around the lake, and standing on the dock in the morning was truly amazing. Restorative. Stephanie was awesome, made everything too easy. Great place for family and friends, great place to retreat from the world, if only for a short time, and especially when Auburn is losing! Not too far from Auburn, but far enough to be away from the craziness of a football weekend. Highly recommended, and we WILL be back.

The house has a great set up has a lot to do for everyone and very spacious! The only down fall is there is no bathroom downstairs and the owners boat is in the boat slip so you can’t used the slip. Will definitely stay again!

Great house for large family situated on a quiet cove but still close to activities. The house is equipped with everything you may need to enjoy your stay.

We have been to Lake Martin on several family vacations! This place was our favorite of all! The house was so clean, slept all of our guest comfortably and the property was absolutely beautiful!! We will definitely be back!
