We had a wonderful stay with our extended family! The house was at a great location - a super quick walk to the beach and an easy bike ride to shops and restaurants. Everyone had a great vacation.

When renting a property cleanliness is at the top of the list of what we are looking for and this property did not disappoint. Communication is next and it could not have been better. The home fit our family perfectly and the pool was a huge hit. We have already paid a deposit for next year.

We had the best time staying at this house and John was such a fantastic and responsive host. This was so close that most of the time we rode bikes in to town, and an easy walk to the beach. We had a low country boil one night and had all the cooking utensils we needed. Although the pool wasn’t open we enjoying hanging around the back areas as the beach was really windy some days. Plenty of beds and bath for all our family and friends that were very spacious and tons of deck space! Truly a gem sitting out on the porch and drinking coffee and enjoying the beach views.

I stayed at this beautiful home to celebrate my mother’s 75th birthday with my two sisters and their families. There was plenty of room to accommodate everyone and the house was well stocked and very clean. We will definitely stay here again the next time we vacation in Surf City.

My wife, son and I spent a long weekend in this rental home. Not only was the property perfect for our needs, but I would recommend the home to anyone looking for a vacation home on Topsail Island. While we have had many great VRBO hosts over the years, in all areas of the Country, John was the best. If you are looking for a perfect vacation rental experience, you will not go wrong here.

This is a home away from home experience. The owners were no less than perfect in making our stay enjoyable during the holidays. Location is excellent and many options nearby and public access to the beach.

We spent Thanksgiving at this home away from home. We had a great time - plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, tons of outdoor space and the best location! Easy beach access and everything you could need (grocery store, coffee, restaurants) all nearby. Both the home and the beach are pet friendly! We’ll have to come back when it’s warmer to take advantage of the pool!

Truly enjoyed the cleanliness, contemporary design and layout, balconies, and pool area, with easy stroll to beach access, short distance to dining and shopping in a great beach town ! Our host provided all the info anyone could need for a great stay.

We have stayed in many beach houses over the years, and this one was far and away the best! We’ve developed a long list of requirements over the years: large hot & cold outdoor shower, great deck furniture on tall legs so you can see over railings, a covered deck for getting out of the sun, king sized master bed, comfy couches for evening movies, being off the busy road for biking & running, pet friendly so our doodle can come along, etc. This house had it ALL, and a pool which was just the icing on the cake. We were extra grateful for the pool because this was our first trip to Tospail in September and there were a couple of days with riptide warnings, which we’ve never encountered in June. So we’d walk the beach and swim in the pool - perfect! The backyard’s landscaping is amazing, and there was always a place to either be in the sun & tan or to be in the shade and watch the kids. The beds were comfy & the provided linens were so helpful. We definitely plan to return to this lovely house in the future!

Very nice place to stay

My family traveled to Surf City for the first time. We’ve been going to the same Maryland beach for the last 17 years and wanted to try something new. This vacation to Surf City did not disappoint! We loved the quieter and more relaxing vibe. And our stay at de Lime and de Coconut was awesome! The hosts are fantastic - super helpful and responsive. Their home is beautiful - from the great location across from the beach, private pool, and modern/updated touches to their home that make guests feel welcome and comfortable. We booked this property over a year ago for a long awaited family vacation after a very tough year. We had a great time, it was very comfortable and the location was perfect!

We had an amazing stay at de Lime in de Coconut Beach House! The house was perfect with a beach access a half block away in either direction, close enough to the pier to walk but far enough for the beaches to never be too crowded. The pool area and multiple decks were an added bonus that we all enjoyed...especially the teens and toddlers! The listing was just as described with thoughtful amenities, a stocked kitchen and plenty of bathrooms and beds. The owner was easy to communicate with from start to finish...we had no issues at all, but no doubt they would have taken care of things if we had! Thank you Bailey's for a wonderful week of memories ☺️

Beach rentals always disappoint me in some way, but not this one. This one was just perfect! The owners take great care of this property - it's clean, spacious, and comfortable (which is a rare gem)! We were so happy with this rental, we wish we could buy it and live there! John was great to deal with and everything in the house was exactly as described. He provides great detail upon booking and everything was just as expected!

Our trip to the area was for rest and relaxation over the holiday with family. It was so comfortable, inviting and set up perfectly for our family. During our stay, my husband lost his mother the day before Thanksgiving. We were heartbroken. But, the home provided us with a comfortable place to grieve and begin healing as a family. We will forever be grateful. We will be back, there are happy memories to be made!

5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms! So much outdoor living spaces with chairs to enjoy the sound of the waves crashing. The house is beautiful and the location is perfect. Having the pool was perfect for when you were over the beach. We will definitely be back!

This property was in a convenient location to get to everything on the island. The walk to the beach took about 5 minutes, but the private pool was just a flight of steps away. The house was clean, but could use more attention to detail in that regard. The owner was very responsive!

Great experience from start to finish, prompt communication from booking and anytime I had a question or needed something. Very professional, respectful and understanding. The house itself we wonderful for a family, updated, great decor but also kid friendly. The pool was amazing! The walk to the beach was easy and plenty of room to spread out in the beach. My daughters, their husbands and my grandchildren like to enjoy a week together at Surf City. This beach house is well maintained and furnished. The pool was definitely a hit with my grandchildren and it is large enough for the whole family. There are plenty of chairs and tables around the pool and on the decks to enjoy the outdoor areas. Beach access is an easy half block away and the street is not busy. Inside the house was very clean and the kitchen is well stocked with cookware, small appliances and dinnerware. The owner was very good about contacting me and making sure that everything was okay. I would definitely recommend this beach house. We hope to be staying there again.
