I would definitely recommend this place especially for families. My husband and I along with my daughter and her husband stayed in the upstairs area. My son and his wife and their 3 young daughters had the lower level. Plenty of room for all! We enjoyed the big backyard lakeside to play yard games and have campfires. We were able to dock our 21 foot deck boat on the pier and enjoy boating on all of Castle Rock lake. The neighborhood is very beautiful and serene. This place is well stocked with everything you need and more. We had fun playing Monopoly one night which was one of the games kept here. We had a great family vacation here! Thank you Angie.

Lovely house/cabin with comfortable bedrooms, good kitchen and outdoor space, pool table, dock... everything our family wanted for a few days of rest. The river is wide at this point, so it does look and feel like a lake, except that the current seemed pretty strong (water may have been higher than usual when we stayed) and we wouldn't have wanted to swim or paddleboard off the dock. But that's ok, and not a fault of the property/owners! We had tons of fun with the very nice pool table, good yard for lawn games, fire pit, table games, etc. etc.

Angie was an excellent host and very responsive. I booked this rental for 8 adults 0 kids for a family vacation. The space was very comfortable, adequately fit the size of our group, and was decorated beautifully. There was so much to do, and the home is well stocked with anything you'd need. The kitchen had an excellent supply of cooking utensils, pots/pans/cooking sheets, and food containers. There was an air fryer, coffee maker + Keurig style maker, and all the appliances you could ask for. The couches and beds were super comfy. Plenty of spare linens. There was a closet of games and cornhole. The downstairs had pool table, card table, and telescope. The outdoor fire pit and dock were the icing on the cake and where we spent most of our time. It was the perfect rental for relaxing and spending quality time together.

The property was perfect for our weekend. It was clean, comfortable and we really enjoyed the backyard & lake! Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, the extra basement area was great for the daughters, and we loved the new firepit area!

The house and property are very cozy and nicely decorated. The large firepit was perfect to accommodate all of us with beautiful views and sunsets on the lake. This is a great place and we've already booked our next stay here for next year.

Property fit our families needs for sleeping and fun. Great access to pontoon rentals, beaches and restaurants. Its worth going early to golf at Northern Bay Resort. I did some weeding, windows and under beds could use cleaning, but otherwise remarkable. We had a great time.

Great Family Getaway!
Our extended family of 9 had a great stay at this lake house. Plenty of room for all of us and we loved the location on the water. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked! We have stayed at several different properties through VRBO and this one was by far had the best supplied kitchen! Lots of extras throughout the house as well. Outside, there is a brand new fire pit area. While the deck has lots of chairs, 3 of them were broken. Beds are comfortable and we had some luck fishing from the pier. Overall, we loved the location and had a great stay!

Fantastic
What a great home to enjoy the lake! We brought our boat and a couple of jet skis. Angie gave us some great tips about where to access boat ramps, and we were able to dock with their pontoon and skis. There was plenty of room for trailers in the driveway. We loved the peaceful, quiet location. Incredible views! Thanks for sharing your home!

Beautiful Property
We had a wonderful time. The lake home is a pretty as the pictures depict. The towels were soft, beds were comfortable, and kitchen was stocked with everything you need. We had a few maintenance issues, but Angie addressed them without hesitation. We had 10 family members from infant to mid-70’s. All had an enjoyable time. Thank you!

Winter weekend retreat
Our family of adult children truly enjoyed ringing in the New Year in this lake side home! The house was spacious for everyone to have there own space and room to play games and relax, we loved having the pool table to entertain us on this below zero weekend! The lake view was gorgeous and we loved the winter gnome and nature decorations for the season. The floors could you use a deep clean as our slippered feet found lots of dirt and dust bunnies, and we found a few extra socks under the furniture. Still a beautiful home to enjoy for all seasons with plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping close by for day trips. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Exactly what we were hoping for.
Eleven family members spent Christmas in this wonderful home for 5 days. With the addition of one air mattress we slept everyone very comfortably. The home is exactly as pictured and Angie did an amazing job decorating it for Christmas. Thank you so much.

Thanksgiving getaway
We had a great time. Plenty of room for all ages in the Family. The kitchen was fully equipped for the thanksgiving meal, right down to pie pans and a rolling pin. The pool table and poker table in the downstairs living space was a big plus. Having the fireplace was very nice. We all enjoyed our stay and would like to go back again!!

Great location and lake view. Prompt response to questions. Beautiful interior decorating. Comfortable beds. Plenty of room for our group of 5 older adults. Negative: the parking area for vehicles was a distance from the house. We cooked most of our meals at the house so had coolers and groceries for our stay. Many trips to the vehicle and back to unload/load. The steps in the photos is the only way to access the main level of the house, which we inquired about in advance, so were aware of. We were disappointed there was no gas for the fire table or grill. With that said it was was a great trip and I would stay here again.

Fall family getaway
We had a lovely stay at this beautiful property. We had plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids, and loved the water view and large yard to play. It was clean, beds were very comfortable, nicely decorated, and well stocked with everything we could have needed and more. We enjoyed that it was near a state park for hiking. We would definitely recommend!

Not what we expected
The VRBO description had a king size bed in the Master bedroom. Not true. There are only queens and doubles though out. The first morning we were making breakfast there where 3 outlets in the kitchen that were not working. I texted the owner and she stated that she new about this and the electrician was coming on Tuesday. A little heads up on this would have been nice. Breakfast was almost ruined because of this. TV's in all bedrooms did not work. We had 4 lights that needed light bulbs but there was only 1 replacement in the closet. The place was nicely remodeled and the view from the deck was awesome.

Nice house on the river
My family and I had a great time. The location is great, right on the Wisconsin River. We didn’t catch any fish, but we had fun trying. The house was clean and was a good size for us. The home owner was responsive and answered all the questions I had.

2 families with lots of small children
Stayed for three days, house and rooms seemed a lot bigger in person than in Photos. Very clean, lots of open space inside the house. Lots of yard space for 8kids to play. Latching gate at top of deck stairs was a great safety feature with the small kids. Very pleased with house would recommend.
