We came to the area to enjoy a weekend getaway. Beautiful home with everything you need! Hosts were great and very accommodating. We definitely want to come back!!

Roomy, clean, well stocked, comfortable, and excellent location. We had an extended stay, nearly 4 weeks. Family came to visit and all had a great time. Plenty of amenities to enjoy together, boating, kayaks or hiking. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful when we had a few minor questions to improve our stay even further. There were absolutely no issues or complaints on our part. To enjoy this home to the greatest extent is to have a frame of mind to stock up on food and drinks and then sit and relax and enjoy everything it has to offer. The home interior is very well designed and the lower ground floor offers a roomy space for games. The main floor outdoor deck is awesome with a TV, fireplace and a gas grill. The furniture is awesome and very comfortable.

Amazing view and access to Lake Blue Ridge.

My sister and I brought our families to the lake for a 5 night stay. Property is stunningly beautiful, better than pictures. Secluded yet accessible, and great location on the lake for water sports and cove swimming. Spent a lot of time outdoors up by the house, down by the fire pit, and kayaking and swimming off the dock. House was clean, well-decorated and designed, and completely stocked with everything we needed - from kitchen items to floats for the water - we definitely overpacked given what was already there! Plenty of space for privacy and togetherness. The kids would say tubing on the boat was their favorite, adults would say evenings outside together. It is a little further (25-30) minutes to get to town, river tubing or some of the more popular trails, just need to plan around it. And you won’t really want to leave. The single improvement I would make is a king bed in the master, for people who sleep with bed hogs! Beyond the amazing property, Diane was phenomenal communicating about the home, what’s there, what we’d need, instructions for boat, etc. Truly a personal experience that makes all the difference. They even left s’mores and cider for us upon arrival - classy, comforting touch. Recommend without hesitation.

My husband and I and our two dogs stayed at the house for a week and rented the pontoon boat, which is a must! The house is on beautiful Blue Ridge Lake facing amazing sunsets every night. The house is gorgeous and very well appointed. We ate in almost every meal and had everything we needed to do so. There are also many fun things to do, including kayaking, swimming and rafts for the lake, shuffle board and even a Ms. Pac Man! We really enjoyed the outdoor living space where you can hang out and read and watch tv on the deck in the evening. The hosts were terrific and really go out of their way to ensure a great experience. We highly recommend this property for couples and families.

We spend our family Thanksgiving at this house. The view was stunning! The house was very well equipped for us to have a blast. Beds were very comfortable and everything was so clean. Plenty of linens, dishes, and cookware to accommodate a large group. The house was decorated for the holidays and looked so cozy. The furnishings were top notch. Nicest I’ve seen in a rental in a long time. The owner paid attention to detail when setting up the house. She was a dream to deal with. She made everything so easy and went out of her way. I HIGHLY recommend this property and owner.

Amazing home with plenty of space for 4 teenage girls and three adults. Beautiful home, pictures do not do it justice. Great outdoor deck with fireplace and TV and great under deck. Large entertainment room on bottom level. 3 levels of living space for the three generations of our party to spread out. Beautiful kitchen and all the required utensils. We cooked breakfast every day and dinner most nights. Fires in the outdoor firepit every night. Great views of the lake. Extra games and activities for a rainy day, if needed. When you walk in the front door you feel like you are home. A wonderful host, great job Diane! We loved our stay.

We have rented houses in Blue Ridge for many years - this one was spectacular! The host, Diane, was so easy to reach, so helpful and most accommodating. We will be back soon.

Last year was great, but for some reason this year we really took advantage of the location. We rode jet skis a lot last year but this year we did a little bit of everything. The updates were awesome. The downstairs looks great. The new stairs to the dock are nice of course! The steam shower is one of my favorite things. We really loved watching the woodpeckers in the back year with the binoculars this year! Makes me wonder if they were there last year and we just didn’t notice them. We took our dogs through a trail to see a waterfall not a far drive away. We went to Merciers Apple Orchard, we even went to the Sasquatch museum we have passed by a hundred time and never gone into. It’s was one of the most relaxing vacations I’ve been on. It’s like time doesn’t exist. We love staying here. Will definitely be back again.

The house is located at a great spot on the lake, and was appointed with everything we needed. The owners were wonderfully responsive to some questions we had. We will definitely stay again!

We loved everything about this place. The shower, the hot tub, the dock, the whole design of the home. Everything was convenient for a complete lake vacation. Very great location and the home is very modern and beautiful!

We stayed here for spring break and had an amazing time. The house is beautiful, clean equipped with everything you need from big rooms, comfortable beds, gaming system, a boat dock, kayaks, to an amazing outdoor space. We could have spent more time there and plan to head back. The owners were supper helpful and friendly. There is plenty of space to enjoy inside and outside the house. It is not a bad drive to blue ridge and to hikes. We had an amazing time, definitely recommend!!

The owners decorated for Christmas in such a lovely way, our 3-year old shrieked with delight when we arrived and still calls it the Christmas house. We can't wait to visit again in warmer weather and spend some time on the water.
