Near beach

amazing self contained beach bungalow (right on the waters edge). The perfect place to unwind an just relax. from Vaea picking us up from the airport to her husband Kii taking us out on his own boat on a day trip of the amazing lagoon an surrounding Motu’s (the highlight of our short stay) just remember to wear sunscreen. seeing turtles, snorkeling with the giant trevally an exploring around the giant Clams. an we got our passports stamped with the One foot island stamp an the Honeymoon island stamp. The information an knowledge from Kii during the trip was amazing an well explained an easy to take in. Thank you to Vaea for organising a scooter hire for us an for also showing us around an pointing out points of interest when we first flew in. we can’t say enough about this wonderful accommodation an amazing hosts. an will be recommending this property to all our friends an family. And will definitely be returning. sooner rather than latter.

wished we had longer at the bungalow an on the island

A beautiful new bungalow with everything I needed, only a few metres from the beach. In a very handy location with a number of restaurants/cafes within easy walking/biking distance. Vaea and Kii are wonderful, friendly hosts. Right from my pick-up from the airport, through to arranging bike hire and answering any questions I had re my stay in Aitutaki. I only got home yesterday but am already planning my next trip!

This property is amazing. It is right at the beach and has everything you need for a relaxing self catering holiday. Hosts Vaea and Kii are so friendly and willing to help out.

Prime location, right on the beach, great privacy and most importantly fantastic host.

The bungalow contained everything we needed. Vaea and her husband were superb answering all our questions, giving us great advice and sorting out our rental scooter & lagoon tour.

Fabulous location, immaculate grounds & comfortable accommodation. Lovely host couple had our scooters waiting for us at the bungalow. We paid cash to Vaea for accommodation, scooters and a hotspot wifi voucher - very easy. Highly recommended. We loved it!

I can't speak highly enough about Tai Marino, we were picked us up from the airport taken on a tour around the lsland. Accommodation was impeccable & located on the best bit of the lagoon, thank you

Absolutely nothing

Vaea was amazing. She met us at the airport with a flower lei each! She drove us to the apartment, explained everything and then drove us into town, showed us some key things and took us to the shop for a few supplies for the evening! She had also organised our scooter to be sitting at the door waiting:-)) Vaea came to the bungalow mid stay to make sure everything was OK. She arranged a lovely trip onto the lagoon with her husband for snorkelling and a light lunch. It was lots of fun and Ki'i was an amazing host as well. She made recommendations for where to eat lunch, drinks and all sorts of things. One thing I loved about the bungalow was the outside bed on the deck. It was so comfy and looking out over the lagoon. I cannot praise her enough.

The accommodation was exceptional, everything about it was far better than expected. The owners, Vaea and Kii were really nice and helpful. They even had some supplies for us and took us to the supermarket when we arrived and a little tour around the island. The location was superb.

Fantastic views, great beach access for swimming (gets deep quickly) and snorkelling. Outdoor shower. Clean, comfortable. Sunset views. Fresh fruit and drinking water available. Awesome friendly hosts.

It was like a tropical oasis, I can’t remember when I last felt so relaxed after a holiday! Beautiful surroundings and view from the deck. Bungalow had everything you needed. Owners Vaea and Kii were such awesome people and were so helpful and accommodating!

Vaea met and picked us up from the airport. Accommodation has a private beach front, with deck chairs, hammock & kayak. Bungalow is well equipped with air con & kitchenette, super clean. Bed is super comfy too. Vaea has their own rather private lagoon tour, book with them if you can.

Our stay at Tai Marino was amazing, absolutely perfect. Vaea and Kii are perfect hosts, there when you needed them and not when you didn't. Vaea helped organise bookings, picked us up from the airport and Kii took us out on a relaxing and utterly enjoyable lagoon cruise. lunch provided by Vaea. Both generously shared their love and knowledge of their home and made us feel very welcome. We could not find one fault even if we tried.

Everything was perfect, from the welcoming, till the end. So superb friendly hosts, with a lot of attention to your needs and the best recommendations. Superb and spacious bungalow with beach view, for romantic breakfast or dinner with sunset. Great private tour around the lagoon. Available kayak for enjoying the lagoon in front of the bungalow. Don't go for any luxury hotel, just book Tai Marino.

Host was exceptional. Made it their responsibilty to ensure we had everything we wanted n needed. Even got a flat tire and they provided assistance. Accommodation was outstanding, location an surroundings are excellent. Relaxing ,quiet an rejuvenating environment. Selection of different cereals. Fresh fruit. Bottles of water and a bonus of chocolate . Beautiful n thoughtful gestures provided. Cannot express enough gratitude. Highly recommended.

Very friendly hosts. Well appointed room in private location (1 of 2 spaced apart) and absolutely beachfront.

This was a fabulous place to stay. It is only really for a couple but right on the beach and close to amenities. We have already booked our next stay. The temperature was fine we went in July but with no insect screens and no air conditioner (yet - I know this is coming) could be hot at night. Don't let that put you off though as it really was a fantastic place to stay, Vaea, our host was incredibly helpful, one of the best holidays we've had.

There was nothing I didn't like really, great place, great people, lovely clean facilities.
