Excellent, convenient location for exploring Beaufort with very comfortable amenities. Warm and welcoming, well equipped, would definitely stay again.

You can’t beat the location of this unit. The rooftop patio is awesome for watching sunsets or anytime you would like a view of the water and boats. Once you get here, you do not need a car unless you want to drive to the beach. We will stay here again 😀

wonderful host, right in heart of town

This was a super cute place to stay for just me and my husband. The view from the roof top was super cool and it was right in the middle of everything!

The room was nice and clean. About the size of a standard hotel room, but has a kitchenette. It's in a great location and the roof top deck is really nice too! We really enjoyed our long weekend here!

True to the description, this was a great place. Perfect views from the roof deck! Walkable to everything. Clean and the bed was very comfortable. 5 stars all the way.

Lovely time in Beaufort! Had a few nights in the deck looking over the water view!!

The unit has a lovely beachy feel. Pretty decor and amazing tiling. It has everything you need and ideally located. In my opinion, it’s best for couples, young, or old, to have time in a pretty seaport area and want to be centrally located. There’s parking, but we just left the car there because everything was accessible walking. If you like boats, then this is the place. There are loads of boats to watch from the superb view from the rooftop. We took a sunset trip on a catamaran. Well worth it. However, you can enjoy the sunsets just as much from the private rooftop and there are plenty of chairs available. Only one other couple was there during our stay so we mostly had the roof to ourselves. Lots of places to eat, some good seafood. We were concerned at other reviews, saying how small the place was, but those people have obviously never been to Europe! It’s absolutely fine for a couple, there’s a small couch and a table/chairs for two. If I had to find any fault, it would probably be the bed is pushed against the wall so the person on one side can’t get out easily, they have to get off the end of the bed or climb over their partner. We could’ve pulled it away from the wall but it wasn’t a major problem for us. Communication was good, any questions we had were answered immediately. Would we go back again? Yes. The visitors’ book comments said the same thing. Note: we don’t have a problem with stairs but if you do there are quite a few. Worth the climb!

Great location for walking to all the waterfront shopping and restaurants. Beautiful rooftop view!

This was the perfect little place for my husband and I to spend a few nights. The location was perfect. We enjoyed the roof top deck for sunset with a glass a wine. It was awesome. You could hear live music from across the street. We had our dog with us and we were amazed how dog friendly the entire town was. Thank you again for letting us enjoy your place.

My husband and I had a great visit to Beaufort. This small studio unit was perfect for us. It was neat and clean and cozy. The location can't be beat and the rooftop was fantastic to relax and watch the town, the waterfront, and listen to live music in the evenings. I hope we can stay here again. So nice!

Location is perfect. Room was a little cramped, but was perfect for a long weekend with beautiful weather.

We loved this unit. Julie and Jeff made our stay special and we are looking forward to booking next year!

This location was perfect for us while in Beaufort to attend the Wooden Boat Show. Knowing everything was within walking distance and a parking place was so convenient. The rooftop view was perfect from sunrise to sunset. We would absolutely rent again.

Great views and is an amazing host to deal with. So kind

Location of this studio was pretty perfect, almost right on front street, in front of the boardwalk. The studio itself is really really small. Almost as if it’s a New York City studio apartment. We came with two small dogs and even they were backing up vs turning around. If we come back again, we will be looking at other places with more space for this price. Beaufort is a small town, from one end to the other is only 3mi, thus all distance is pretty walkable. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Dust from vents has not been cleaned in a long time it seems, as it has a layer of dust. Same on the legs of the table. The AC was blowing humid air that left sheets damp. It was making an unhealthy noise, and when we reached out to owners, they let us know this is the first time they are hearing about AC issues. AC had black mold in it, thus need a good cleaning. Owners wanted to come by next day we notified them about the AC, but due to the size of the apartment, and not having much “safe” space, we asked to pass up on this. Gate to upstairs “dock” where all mini studios are located does not lock, even though it should, as we were provided a code. Other renters continuously leave the gate wide open, so be careful with your puppies when you go. There are signs to keep dogs on leashes, this is definitely advisable. Upstairs dock was gorgeous, what a view!!!

Condo is small (just a heads up to those who don’t check square footage) but very well appointed and the layout maximizes space. Rooftop deck is lovely for wine and coffee. Location is in the heart of town. Hosts stayed in constant communication and it was easy to check in and check out.

Perfect spot for our 16th Anniversary getaway! We love Beaufort, NC and normally stay in Atlantic Beach area. We would spend most of our time in downtown Beaufort so we decided to pick this cute & convenient condo! We loved the top deck & we were thankful pets were allowed.

Perfect location near central business district. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Unit is quite nice, and the hosts were great communicators.

We have never stayed in Beaufort so this was a great first time! Overall the place was really ideal as far as location! We loved being able to walk every where! The rooftop view was so nice! The only thing that was really inconvenient was the fact that the people before us had ruined the fridge. It smelled so horrible that we could not use it. Each person pays a cleaning fee. That was not well done this time.

This condominium was within walking distance of all the restaurants and historic sites in downtown Beaufort. The rooftop deck was perfect for viewing sunsets and all of the boats docked along the river. Julie and Jeff were wonderful hosts leaving my wife and me champagne and snacks for our anniversary. We highly recommend Why Not Getaway for a great experience in Beaufort!

We just loved our stay at this sweet place in Beaufort. Everything was spotless. The upgrades to the unit were high end and there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. But what really set it apart was the roof top deck. We could see all the activity of the marina and Front St yet had privacy. So cool!

Property was exactly as described, just a few minutes walk to all restaurants and shops. The private deck had wonderful views!

The condo is situated on Front Street, in the hub of Beaufort. All points of interest in town are in walking distance. The room was clean and well equipped.

Superb property and great location to truly experience all that Beaufort has to offer!
