Lots of room, kitchen well stocked. End of complex so it is very quiet. Worked well for my family. Dog friendly.

This place advertises as a minute walk from the Purgatory Resort. It's actually close to a 10-12 minute walk away. Definitely not ski-in/ski-out.
The cookware is old. We found dirty pots and pans put away in the cabinets. The lighting in the entire place is inadequate.
It's still a nice cozy place, but it didn't quite meet our expectations.

We had a great stay with plenty of room for our family of 6. It was a short walk up to a hill where we could ski to the lift. The beds were comfortable and the place had everything we needed for our 5 night stay.

Beautiful home that was an easy ski back to cabin for advanced skier. Skier friendly, Dog friendly, teenage friendly place to stay by the resort. We loved it! Ski ready room inside the house. Kitchen had everything that you needed. Loved it! Thank you!

The townhouse was a nice property. The views are amazing! The property was clean and had most supplies needed.

Layout and # of rooms was perfect for our visit.
Beautiful views out of most windows, and great proximity to Purgatory resort.
Still had a little bit of a hike to the skiing trails, but was able to ski back through the property right to the driveway.
House was clean and well organized, although the front door didn't latch without the deadbolt, it wasn't a big deal. The TV remote in the livingroom also had some issues with the volume button, but also was not a big deal.
Overall the location and layout of the house was great, and we'll look forward to any future visits.

December Ski Trip
We booked this property for the main purpose of skiing at nearby Purgatory. We usually stay at the lodge but waited too late and when they were booked, we needed a place to stay that would accommodate two families of 4 who would mostly be skiing.
This property was great! It is dated but very clean and well kept. Gorgeous views from the living room and deck. The kitchen was stocked with every thing we needed for cooking (minus a crockpot- if there was one I could not find it). The beds were comfy. There was a side closet to store ski boots and helmets as well as an outside area to store skis. The washer and dryer were a plus to dry wet ski clothes.
We enjoyed our stay but the only downside was it is not ski in/ski out. You have to walk about a quarter mile to the bunny hill to get on the lifts. We have older kids that can carry their gear but this could be difficult for families with littles. We made it work. Other than that great house in pretty good location.
Hosts were very thorough in checking in before we even arrived!

Location is great, although Purgatory has reduced services in the summer. But easy trip to Silverton or Durango. House comfortable; we were four people plus dog so had plenty of room. Kitchen well-stocked. Deck nice although chairs weren’t great. Property managers very available.
Furnishings and decor dated, that didn’t bother us. Bathrooms very small. Mattresses could use replacing and bedding was cheap and utilitarian, not luxurious.
Overall, it was a great home base for us to explore the area, but I’m not sure I’d rent it again.
