We wanted to love this place. The house had so much potential and the proximity to the beach and shopping was perfect. Not sure if the problems were caused by employee shortages but there were plenty of problems. We arrived to the supposedly cleaned unit with the dishwasher full of DIRTY dishes. Few clean ones left for us to use for dinner. Crusted on dried food on everything in the dishwasher. If I could include pictures I would. Then I quickly realized there was also no dishwasher tablets or extra garbage bags. Hand washing someone else’s dishes within 15 minutes of arriving on my vacation. I multitasked but being on hold with Vacasa’s help line. My husband tried to turn on the tv in the family room for the kids. It wouldn’t change channels and was stuck on an infomercial. The kids gave up and went to separate rooms. Then shortly after we found the toilet on the main floor was leaking water if the water was turned on—so in order to use it and not have it leak we had to turn the water off and on each time (with 5 kids with us). Vacasa finally answered and promised to send someone over in the morning. Just before going to bed we found that the light in the master bathroom where there are no windows would not turn on—so if you used that bathroom you were either in the dark or with the door wide open and no privacy to do your business (yes that is both bathrooms on the main floor now have issues.) They came the next day with extra supplies and fixed the toilet but did nothing about the TV or the other lightless bathroom (we were not allowed to be there when they came so I left a list—it was ignored). Our case was closed and I had to re call and re file the TV issue and the other light issue to have someone come out a second time. It took until the 3rd day to get those issues addressed and we only stayed 4 days. Not a Vacasa fan right now. I feel badly for the owners. It’s a nice place otherwise but the management was a disaster. The people on the phone at Vacasa were really nice and willing to help but getting them to answer their 24 hour help line took forever!!! A lot of the help was too little too late. A good business model would not have these issues in a vacation unit before guests arrived. Zero quality control. They compensated us by not making us pay the cleaning fee at the end and 15% off. But spending 3 of our four days being on hold, leaving messages, texting, re-calling, waiting again on hold, timing it to be gone while they came to fix things, trouble shooting the TV, washing someone else’s gross dishes, isn’t really what we paid for—even with the compensation. This is a separate issue but if you do book this unit the pool and other amenities are not included unless you pay $50 more per person to the facility. That was also a surprise for us when we got there. The beaches were great! Vacasa had no say over those.

What's not to love about a clean spacious home that is also pet friendly? Not too far from the beach, with a short walk to the well kept pool area made this a nice get away in spite of the terrible weather conditions at the beach. (I'll take that up with Mother Nature). The only negative is the lack of proper cooking pots and pans, and the restricted view of the golf course due to the trees. Otherwise, excellent!

Enjoyed the location of this rental. Stayed in for most meals so having a kitchen that had most everything thing we needed for food preparation was a plus. Would suggest larger grater. Will consider rented again next year.

We have rented this particular unit 3 times. Before this stay the bedding was 2Q bedrooms and 2S loft which was better for 4 adults. Love the location but will probably rent elsewhere due to bedding.

I loved the location. The place was clean and spacious.

We’ve stayed at this development for the past 15 years, at multiple accommodations, this condo however rates highest for it’s convenient location and charming decor.

Great townhome and community, but the wear and tear of rentals and lack of a deep cleaning was evident. Broken living room blinds, ceiling fan dirt so thick that we didn't use then to avoud breathing in that 'gunk', a broken entrance step and bad carpet stains were just the obvious things we saw the moment we first entered. For the hefty cleaning fee, these things were unexcusable. It's a shame as the unit is really nice but just missing some TLC, minor routine maintenance and a deep cleaning. We reported these things the first day so we wouldn't be accused of doing any of them, but you can tell the heavy rental season has taken its toll.

Place was comfortable and well kept. Needed a good vacuuming though. Convenient and walkable neighborhood.

So glad we found this property! It was perfect for us...4 with a dog. Exactly as described, great location, beautiful golf course, pool, etc. Added perk of shuttle to the beach was great too. Loved every minute of our stay...super easy check in and out.

This is a gorgeous home. The location is almost perfectly split between the pool and restaurant. Great spot.

It was pretty clean with the exception of: 1. the master bath shower has mold around the grout that needs to be fixed 2. the screens on the porch were falling off so the bugs were coming in 3. The family room foot rest is pretty beat up 4. A few of the kitchen chairs were very dirty 5. A few of the steps molding are falling off which is a safety hazard. For the most part, we were pleased.

The condo was very comfortable. It needed minor repairs. The living room shad was torn, the screen on the back porch was torn an rapped around each other on the patio. Both bathrooms tolerate seats were glued down and when lifted up came apart. Also. The bathroom in the common area was not clean. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

I loved the size of the house and the open concept.The loft at the too with the private bathroom was a great bonus.I did not appreciate the fact that it was not throughly cleaned from previous guest.We had white dog hair ALLOVER our clothes,and when I went to vacuum,the worst smell came out of one,and the other looked like it wasn't dumped.The pictures taken on the site must be very old,because the screens on the porch were torn and hanging off.One of the lamps were broken.The blinds have seen better days.The leather on the furniture was peeling badly.The wet bar had Dust everywhere. Aside from the property the food at the restaurant on the premise was mediocre at best,and that is being nice.Iam very sad,because this is a beautiful house,but what was displayed on the site was far from what we saw.I pray the property owner is reading not just the good comments,but the negative as well,and actually makes these changes.My family and I would love to come back,but not at the state it's in.The dog hair everywhere,is what did it in for me.That is just unsanitary and un called for.We could not check in early because we were told the place had to be cleaned and sanitized,but now I see that was a complete lie.We basically paid for a half of a day,and I don't think that makes sense.I will keep checking to see if changes were made.Hopefully so.

The property was great. Right on the golf course and about half a block from the Bear Den restaurant. Beautiful neighborhood! Getting g the pool/gym pass was simple and the home was about a block from that buding, too. Only thing was that the instructions on the fridge kept talking about a binder with info. We never found it. The only one we found just contained the books for the appliances. Loved this place and would/will stay again!

We had a great time! The only complaint was the parking issue. We felt like we had to compete for a parking space with all the golf members. Other than that, it was truly perfect.

Our stay in the apartment was fantastic, everything was immaculate, and the carpet was super clean. Upon arrival, we could not find the number easily because the door is on one side of the building and not on the front. The property manager assisted us diligently. Everything clean, with good decoration. Thanks !!

I received no instructions for check out , nothing for bed linens , towels or trash .All in all a nice property. One issue i would like to discuss with the property manager. I will wait to see if they reach out to me for direct feedback on my stay . Since this is a review i will not go into details.

Great rental if you enjoy golf

Our family had a great stay! Love that we could bring our pup! Location was perfect, amenities as described. Will visit again.

The home was very clean and actually made you feel welcomed as soon as you walked in the door. The golf course view was outstanding and having your morning coffee on the screened in porch was just what the doctor ordered. Very relaxing. The surrounding are offered everything one would need while vacationing ( breaches, shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, etc.). My family and I will diffidently stay here again. “GREAT EXPERIENCE”

While looking on the internet for places to stay for my upcoming vacation, I came across this property. The internet listing was pictured exactly how it was in person. The price was reasonable. However I was a disappointed when there was no cable TV connection in 2 out of 3 of our bedrooms. Also be careful of the patio chairs because they lean very far back and you can potentially fall. Despite those issues, the resort is very nice and clean. The staff and other visitors are very friendly. I would rent again.

Great Condo with plenty of room and nice golf course view. Pool was very friendly and convenient .Nice having The Den pub right here on the grounds. Over all a very pleasant experience.

We normally stay in OCNJ but for the last two years have stayed at Bear Trap Dunes/Oceanview (different properties each time). We were very happy with this property and would definitely want to stay at this location again. Upon arriving, we did wipe down the railings which were dirty and found fingerprints on the thermostat, but luckily there were Clorox wipes available which quickly solved those issues. We weren’t expecting the linen package but this was very helpful and was a pleasant surprise. We don’t golf but we spent a lot of time on the enclosed porch watching the golfers and enjoying the scenery. We really appreciated the sense of focus Bethany Beach has implemented with COVID safety. Any questions we had were answered by the Wyndham office staff, who were all very friendly and helpful. Very happy with our stay and would stay at this property again.
