A group of 4 stayed at the house during a fishing trip. The house is perfect and the host was wonderful.

We loved the location, but were a little surprised to be surrounded by mobile home/rv campgrounds. Tammy and Mark are very kind and helpful. We enjoyed the game room, but were surprised to find out that it is shared. Having a dock for the boat was very convenient. We all enjoyed the relaxation of the area and the ability to bring our dog along too! Thank you Tammy and Mark!

We had a wonderful time and definitely plan to come again. My husband and his brother enjoyed fishing with the brother’s grandsons as it was their first time fishing. It was a great experience for them. Tammy, our host, was easy to talk to and very attentive. She helped to make this trip enjoyable. I have not problem recommending this property to others.

Very comfortable for 5 fishermen. Had it's own fish cleaning station and freezer space for your catch. Well stocked kitchen with everything needed for fixing your own meals.

My husband and I were very pleased with this property. The house is spacious and homey! Plenty of room to accommodate multiple guests, complete with all the amenities needed, and close to multiple restaurants, stores, and attractions.
My husband and I especially loved the waterfront view and the walk out dock! We were able to do some light fishing right on the property! There were some fishing poles, tackle, and kayaks available for use as well. The yard was perfect size for our two dogs to play.
The host was very nice and responded promptly.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we hope to return during warmer weather.

We really enjoyed our weeks stay at this adorable vacation home! The area is super quiet and the neighbors are so nice! We had fun fishing and going on a couple of day trips. Lots to see in the area too! The owner Tammy is great to work with and very nice too!! We will stay again for sure!!

Stay After Boyfriends Deployment
We did a little getaway after the kids’ dad/ my boyfriend returned from a 7 month deployment. This place was everything we were looking for! Kids loved it and so did we! The water in the back yard was so nice! Kids were able to fish and we even took the canoe out for a few for a morning paddle! Close to everything we wanted to do in town. Homeowners were very welcoming! We definitely want to go back in the future and can’t wait to see what updates they make!

Great older home
This is a well maintained older home with amazing wood floors. The broom closet had height markers from 1930! Home was very clean, plenty of towels and it is neat to watch the trains on the lift bridge. They very seldom blow the whistles, so it is quiet and peaceful. Large yard with excellent outdoor space. Trailer park is quiet. We did not get to enjoy this like we wanted to, due to the wedding we were in Ohio to attend. We would definitely stay there again.

The house is great. The location is awesome. We loved watching the railroad bridge open for the passing trains. Fishing in the back yard. The hosts are very engaged and helpful.

Nice get away
My family and I had a blast during our stay. The property is located right on the river with a new seawall to sit and fish from. The owners were great and did their best to make sure we had everything we needed. They even let us borrow some poles and thier tackle box! The central air hadn't been installed yet so there is still some work to be done, however they installed some window units for us and everything was fine. About the only thing I thought could've been better was the upstairs bed was hard and uncomfortable. There were plenty of others to choose from so we just switched rooms. We would definately rent this property again. Overall it was a great place and a great time was had by all.

Walleye Retreat Paradise
We chartered for Walleye 2 nights in the middle of May. 4 guys in 4 separate bedrooms - perfect. The kitchen had everything needed for coffee, meals, and cooking steak and walleye. The outdoor gas grill was huge and new. There was wood for the firepit each night. When we were done charter Walleye Fishing, we could relax inside or outside at the house. We fished right out the back door and caught largemouth, catfish, and bluegills in the river. Played cornhole each night. All 4 of us slept like babies too. We are going to make this an annual trip.

House was very comfortable and really enjoyed location on Portage river- great bird watching. Dogs enjoyed playing fetch on very large yard. Will definitely rent again.
