This may be the best place we have ever booked. It was clean, gorgeous, quiet, and at the perfect location for walking downtown Salida. Our 3-year-old loved that there were puzzles and games for her and toy cars. My only warning would be if you are planning to use the sofa bed— it was very creaky/lumpy/uncomfortable. Everything else (including the actual bed upstairs) was perfection and I have already recommended this spot to several friends!

This is a splurge-worthy unit within walking distance to Salida’s historic downtown. Steps from the Arkansas river & great food.
Very well stocked. Stayed cool during the day, I don’t think the AC unit ever kicked on - slept with windows open & it was quiet.

We loved this unit! It's perfect for a couple or family. It was just me and my husband. Had everything we needed and was spotless which was great because I'm a clean freak! Also owner responded immediately to a question I had before we left to go there. She also let me know we were able to check in early which was awesome! Everything was right out your door. One of the best places we've ever stayed!!

Historic location with a condo that beautifully captures the sense of antique and modern. Comfortable, stylish, and just all around vibe of today as well as a long time long ago. Fantastic location in the center of historic Salida and adjacent to the Arkansas River.

My boyfriend and I stayed over the weekend, and had a wonderful time! The location is absolutely perfect if you are looking to enjoy downtown Salida. It is a a short walk to anything in town. The interior is decorated adorably, and everything was super clean! Only suggestion would be better pillows upstairs. Alli was very accommodating and always available. We would definitely come stay again!

Stayed here over Presidents' day weekend, and one of the best places we've stayed at. Lower level has a ton of space and everything was very well appointed. Loft is huge and beds were very comfortable. Unit is right in the middle of Salida and easy to walk to restaurants and even the grocery store. Definitely recommend.

We were very comfortable in this beautifully outfitted apartment that put us just steps from everything the downtown historic area had to offer: restaurants, art galleries, unique and fun shops, brew pubs, a distillery, and more. We also took the short drive to Monarch Mountain ski area for great downhill skiing and another day found wonderful xc ski territory. Mt. Princeton Hot Springs was also a short drive away. The apartment was perfect for me & my husband. If privacy isn’t a concern, the 2 sofa beds would be very suitable for additional guests. The parking space and private fenced patio area are big perks to this apartment.

We stayed here for a weekend and it was perfect. A great location and so much space. Loved how clean and comfortable it was. Easy to access and very well maintained. Would definitely stay here again and hope to do so soon! The upstairs bath has been updated since the photos and is even better now.

We came to celebrate our 38th anniversary and we were NOT disappointed.
Here's what we loved:
- The instructions for getting parked and into the room were easy to follow - not even a spelling error.
- The location is perfect. - You're right by the river and all the food and shops on F st.
- The home is well lit, perfectly decorated, and comfortable.
- The BED! AWESOME!
- The kitchen? Even the knives were sharp.
The negatives? NONE!
We loved everything about the stay. Would stay there again!

Tucked into the downtown scene without noise or traffic. We needed a place for a couple of nights before the rest of our group arrived. This was the perfect little retreat that afforded easy downtown access. Comfortable and chic. The hosts have thought of everything.

We had a wonderful time in Salida and at this historic loft. Location couldn’t be better, and the loft couldn’t be cooler. We never got in the car, just walked around the town and enjoyed the river. We wished we could have stayed longer. By far our favorite place we’ve stayed in Colorado. Kids loved playing with the cars and reading the books. Loved the decor and just everything about the place! Definitely want to come back.

This rental was perfect! I enjoyed the layout of the space, especially the loft bedroom and bathroom. I found the bed to be comfortable. Enjoyed the private courtyard to for a glass of wine and catch up on my book.
The location of the rental was one of the best parts. I enjoyed being able to go for morning walk for coffee, then in the evening walking to grab a drink and bite to eat.
I would recommend this rental for an individual or couples. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved this place. It was a perfect location for walking Salida and has a reserved parking spot. The kitchen is very well appointed, the bed comfortable, and everything was immaculate! We would definitely stay here again.

Salida is one of our favorite vacation spots and this loft was awesome, one of the best places we've stayed. Very stylish and comfortable. It's location is right downtown and close to the river and even with the proximity to all the restaurants and shops, the loft was quiet. We would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone staying in Salida.

This is the best equipped rental we ever stayed in. Everything we could possibly need was handy.
It is beautifully decorated and was very relaxing to be in.
Of course being in the Historic district with shops and restaurants within walking distance added to the enjoyment of our stay.

This property was amazing! Very clean and good sized, we did not feel cramped. The location is perfect, right off the main street so you are close to shops and restaurants. The river is a minute walk away and a trail system is a short walk away. We enjoyed staying here!

Fantastic location
The location is amazing as it puts you right near the river walk, shopping and the park. The accommodations themselves are very inviting and clean with all the amenities you could want. On this trip we also stayed in Manitou Springs, Ouray, Estes Park and YMCA of the Rockies cabin and this unit was rivaled by just one of our other accommodations. Will definitely be our location of choice when we return to Salida.

Perfect location in Salida if you want easy river access and easy walking for shopping and restauran
Beautiful renovation with all sorts of extra touches. Easily sleeps 6 with a king bed and two pull-out couches. It's a roomy space and the natural light and high ceiling make it feel much bigger.

Absolutely beautiful condo in the perfect location! The owners have thought of just about everything you could need, and it's perfectly situated to explore downtown Salida. We would definitely come back and stay again.

Perfect Location!
First, I have to say the chandelier is 100 times better in person, and I love the chandelier so very much!
We were in town for the Salida Fiber Festival in Riverside Park just across the street, so we loved the location. The condo itself is beautiful and clean, with comfortable furniture, bed and sleeper sofa (we didn't use the upstairs one, so can't comment). The kitchen had everything we needed. I was expecting so much more noise being right down town, but it wasn't bad (and any street noise was gone by 10? 11?). WiFi was good and Netflix streamed without buffering ;)
I would definitely stay here again!

Our 3 day Salida visit
Our stay in the Palace Hotel unit in Salida was great, just what it was represented as in the profile. Salida is a great little town, an authentic western town, not some fancy ski resort. The condo was very comfortable, extremely well decorated and furnished, right on main street and was like a 5 star hotel. We plan on staying in that exact unit next time we come to Salida.
