This property was by far the best appointed of any that we stayed in while in Alaska. Everything was done top shelf. We appreciated the owner's attention to detail. Very close to Talkeetna and all it has to offer. I'd definitely stay here again.

Comfortable full service cabin with all necessities

Perfect wet cabin to get away to, not too far off the beaten path but blissfully quiet and felt a million miles away.

Quiet peaceful setting with lovely accommodations.

We came to visit family and friends and the cabin exceeded our expectations. The cabin had everything we needed and was a pleasure to stay in. This is a quite and very relaxing place to be able to enjoy time with family, friends or just be by yourself drinking coffee in the early morning or sip a cold drink in the evening.

Beautiful location with an amazing and cozy cabin presented by outstanding hosts! This is a dream Alaska getaway!

We had a nice weekend, though we were hardly in the cabin, so it was a pretty neutral experience. It was quiet and cozy, and the welcome sign was a nice touch. The bathroom was nice. We were excited by the towel warming rack, but it’s mounted so low it seemed dangerous to put wet towels on as they’d sit right on the plugs. There were also dust bunnies and spiderwebs and a dried up contact lens stuck to one of the bedside tables. Too many little rugs and pillows to manage too.

Cabin was exactly what my wife and I were looking or on our trip to Alaska. Highly recommend Spruce Cabin.

It was a very warm and inviting cabin. I loved all the rugs and the small touches like the local coasters and door mat. The extra pillows and blankets were a nice touch.In the photos it showed a cribbage board. Maybe a couple board games or cards would be a nice touch.and also the banana bread was absolutely amazing! Thank you for a wonderful stay!On a side and embarrassing note, I left a personal item there that I was hopeful to have mailed to me. I would pay for shipping.

Everything was great! The cabin was cozy and clean, the surrounding area was beautiful and open. It was a great spot for us and the dogs. Delicious home made banana bread was a great touch!

We stayed for five days and it was very quit and off the beaten path.

Beds very comfortable. Some kitchen amenities and refrigerator was greatly appreciated. Location beautiful!

Close to town lots of privacy

Wonderful The Spruce Cabin was everything we were looking for. It was Quaint, Quit, and Very Relaxing. After driving up to Alaska from Montana the standard motels just weren't getting the job done, but as soon as we walked into your cabin, we felt the relaxing atmosphere we had been looking for for days.

Short fall vacation to go on hikes and visit Talkeetna.The cabin (spruce) was clean and very comfortable. The location was well kept and the hosts very friendly. Overall a great experience.

Adventure weekend in Talkeetna

Cabin was great. Only downside was it allowed dogs and had a dog smell to it.

Very close to the town of Talketna, which was very convenient for us. Everything we needed in the cabin.

The cabin is nicely furnished, and the Keurig and K-Cups were much appreciated along with a brand-new sponge still in packaging. Pros: Location is less than 5 minutes from the Flying Squirrel. Two other cabins are semi-close on the property, but you don't feel boxed in by any means. Heat was efficient - important for those cold nights :) Kitchen as a small fridge, basic dishes, and electric kettle, and microwave. Basics are covered but can't really do much else except warm up food, not that we needed to. Cons: Wi-Fi is available but I couldn't connect after repeated tries on multiple devices. It wasn't a big deal as I don't mind unplugging but for those counting on connection, it's iffy. Would highly recommend and we'll be back I'm sure!

We loved our stay at this cute little cabin tucked away in the woods! It was the perfect place for our family to stay to break up the drive between Anchorage and Fairbanks. Twila was quick to respond, flexible, and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Very clean and cozy! It’s a little small, but can fit two adults and two kids fine. (Probably only 3 adults comfortably) Overall, we Would stay here again!

Perfect setting and attention to detail. I am extremely picky about cleanliness and this quaint cabin met all my expectations. Decorated beautifully, even down to the fluffy bathroom towels. We loved that it was in a forested private area yet close to town. Great communication by text with the owner was also appreciated. Thank you for making our visit to Talkeetna so memorable.

The cabin was adorable. It was super clean and had lots of room for storage. The bed was very comfortable and the property managers were readily available to help out, answer questions and to give recommendations to local spots. We especially loved the personal welcome sign and the hot water percolater. The banana bread was excellent also!

I appreciate it being pet friendly. The cabin was clean and well put together. The location was nice, not far from town, close to the bakery and only gas pump on the road.

Perfect place to stay in Talkeetna. My wife and I stayed here 1 night. It is small but has everything you need. Even had a hand written sign greeting us by name, and a fresh piece of homemade banana bread :)

Great location, easy to get to trails, town, etc. but tucked out of the way in a quiet spot. Cabin was neat and ready for us, communication with the host was great. The extra touch of Bubbly for my birthday, and a sweet little bag of dog treats, was really nice.

This little cabin was fantastic. It's located in a beautiful Spruce forest, has a lovely deck and is close to Talkeetna activities. Thanks so much for the lovely stay.
