Breakfast only to 0830. Not great for older patrons who have arrived from a long journey the evening before.

Really warm and friendly welcome from Tom, the proprietor, and nothing was too much trouble, even on Christmas Day. My room was lovely - it had been newly-decorated and was really spacious, with a window that looked out over the street and the Chatteris Christmas lights. Breakfast was hot and plentiful, with many options. The TV also had many options, including Netflix, which was a real bonus as I don't have it at home (at least I didn't!). An ideal place to stay when visiting elderly parents in the town - I'll be back next Christmas if not before!

nice central position in town. nice big carpark. walking distance to pubs and restaurants. excellent breakfast
