Comfy home in a great location.

This was a cute little house. Visited with my husband and 2 teenagers. The house was clean and a great location. We enjoyed the pedestrian walkway across the bay to main street, even though most stores were closed for the season. I'm sure this is a great place to stay during the busy summer months. However, our stay was in April and Maine can still be cold during that time. I would encourage the owner to add extra blankets and lanterns for future visitors in case there is a power outage or just a really cold night. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay here.

Great location. Bright clean home.

The unit was clean and comfortable. Waking up to the views of the harbor was the highlight of our trip. We had more than enough utensils to cook in the unit, we explored the local area by foot since it’s so close to everything, including the foot bridge. What a perfect birthday get away!

We pretty much just slept there because we were busy at the workshop all day. There were some movies on discs however the disc player is not hooked up to the TV. But was not a big deal.

Had everything we needed and close to shops and restaurants

We had a great stay and we’re very happy here! We loved the location with a short walk across the footbridge and a view of the harbor with lobster boats coming in and out with the tide. The house was, bright, warm, cozy, and just what we wanted. We would stay here again.

We loved the property. Had everything we needed, clean and great location! Loved being able to walk over the footbridge into town to shop and eat. The only cons were that we were given the wrong code to get into the house. Fortunately it was handled quickly.

The comfort and the location.

For the two of us, this was a convenient and comfortable place to spend a week. It's quiet and equipped for an enjoyable stay. Town is just a short walk or drive to restaurants and shops. The house was clean and ready to move in. We'd go back.

Property was exactly as listed. Comfortable bed. We’ll stocked kitchen. Clean. Check in instructions said to use key pad to left of door. In fact, you entered the key code in the door handle itself. When we realized that was the case, we were able to access the property.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable and included a parking spot. The location made the downtown area very walkable. We had a little glitch with the lockbox when we first arrived. But assistance from property management services got us into the property in no time.

Everything was clean and wonderfully decorated. Very close to grocery stores and a few restaurants....most shops were closed for the winter but the ones that were open were fantastic !! I highly recommend this property.

Pros: absolutely perfect location!; impeccably clean; delightfully decorated Solid: comfortable furnishings; plenty of dishes, utensils, etc in the kitchen; great views of the sunset across the harbor; well stocked with amenities like shampoo, dish soap, etc. Cons: only one key (with the accompanying risk of locking yourself out…email referenced a backup lockbox but our code didn't open it); wifi is terrible…we gave up and used our phones; bath towels etc are borderline sandpaper Bottom line: Generic accommodations in a great spot. There was zero indication this was part of anyone’s home, etc, but rather simply seems to be a short-term rental property operated by a management company exclusively for that purpose. We would return but there are a lot of comparable options in the area.

Great location, immaculate, and comfortable. We stayed happily in December, and can see how this would also be wonderful in summer.

We stayed for 7 days for our 30th wedding anniversary. Even though it was off season (Dec.) we had a great time. The unit was immaculately and toasty warm. The view of the harbor is lovely and the sunsets perfect. Most stores and restaurants were closed but so few people were in town that we had no problem being seated at the open establishments. Bathroom is off the kitchen which was a little far from the bedrooms but other than that highly recommended.

As folks mentioned, the location is great. Walking the footbridge at the base of the property is a short cut to Boothbay downtown. We loved the property and the well stocked kitchen. Very clean. We were able to drive about an hour north and south to visit other towns as well. All the local restaurants are top notch for seafood. Great time to stay over the Holidays.

This place has one of the best locations in Boothbay Harbor. It is very close to the footbridge where you can walk to shops and restaurants, yet it is not too busy that you would be bothered by noise or crowds. The house was clean and ready when we arrived. It had plenty of dishes, pots, pans and even games and books. My only criticism would be that more towels need to be provided especially since there is no access to a washer and dryer. Sometimes guests need an extra washcloth or bath towel in case one gets dirty. There was no bath mat to step on after showering and there was only one dishtowel making it difficult to wash and dry dishes as requested. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would love to return in the future.

The space was very clean and tastefully decorated. The location was perfect for walking to downtown and driving for day trips to other attractions. We really enjoyed our stay.

The house was immaculate . Easy to get around Boothbay Harbor. Anything one would want was there. The location for me is perfect with friends in Brunswick and Belfast. I’m hoping to come back with family to fill that second bedroom!

My wife and I spent 4 nights in the Lookout. Everything was perfect. The house is well equipped, clean, comfortable and quiet. Only a two minute walk to the footbridge. Our trip centered around birding. There are several Boothbay Land Trust properties all within 10 minutes of the house. We enjoyed our time in Maine. Cant wait to come back to Maine.

Perfect location with such easy access to all Boothbay Harbor has to offer!

The house location was great. We were disappointed with the small size of shower, the poor quality of towels and poor quality of living room furniture. you should have a larger couch you can stretch out on (not a love seat) and those swivel chairs are junk. you should have dimmer switches on all high-hat lights in ceilings. The shower also had mold on the bottem 2 feet of shower - you should call your cleaning company.

This is really close (walkable) to town and perfect for our family of four. Would recommend!

Place was very cute and perfect for our family of four. Our favorite part was how close it was to the footbridge and how easy it was to walk to shops, restaurants, and our whale/puffin cruise. If you've ever traveled with young kids then you know how much less stressful it is not to have to load in and out of car seats to drive everywhere on vacation. Day trips were also easy - we walked Ocean Point and visited the Desert of Maine. On our one rainy day, the kids enjoyed the Kids cable package at the house. Would most definitely return to this one!

Close to shopping, restaurants and swimming. House was very clean when we arrived. Used the air conditioning units that were in closet. Great grill on back deck. Note- no laundry or central air conditioning/ceiling fans , bring additional bath towels

My daughter and I came to Boothbay Harbor to visit the Coastal Maine Botanical Garden. We found Jean's Outlook clean, bright and cheery, very comfortable. It is located a short walk to the footbridge and down town, where we ate at some wonderful restaurants and did some fun shopping! The Gardens are only a 9 minute drive; one of the very best we've seen. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

Everything is within walking distance and there's a real nice grocery store close by. The Maine people were very friendly and helpful.

Great location in a newly renovated apartment! Being so close to the footbridge was extremely convenient!
