Lovely accommodation very relaxing

Marylyn was there to welcome us to the property and guide us through her lovely house. The property itself is very charming and decorated beautifully with lots of period features and all the creature comforts one could want for a short stay. The location is superb being so close to all local amenities, but still with a beautiful rural outlook. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, and are sure it will be sooner rather than later.

Stayed 4 nights ,lovely welcome by Marilyn who showed us around whole property.Beautyful house ,had all ground floor,rooms huge and very well presented.Lovely furnishings,comfy beds and every where spotlessly clean. Also had food basket, bread,milk,orange juice,cans of pepsi,butter,fruit,chocolate and a few other things which saves you having to shop on first day.

The whole package from meeting Bill and Marilyn, such warm friendly people. The apartment was beyond our expectations. The welcome pack made especially to our specifications when taking NH g our looking , which was a lovely a danrastic start to the first day we arrived.

This was a lovely property with plenty of character. Rooms were large and everything was very clean. The property was well equipped and had a lovely garden which we had access to. It was in a very convenient location being near some pubs and plenty of shops. Newcastle and the coast line were within easy reach. Our host even brought in our washing while we were out and offered us an extra complimentary night as road conditions on the the day we left were so poor.

We have just returned from Field House and have had a wonderful time. The apartment is exceptionally clean and spacious and is situated close to amenities but remains quiet. The addition of the garden is fantastic and we found the location ideal for visiting the places we wanted to.

We stayed to visit family in the area - have always stayed at premier inn Holystone for convenience- would have always stayed here if we had known about it - was recommended Field House by a member of the family who works for tourist information

The house was fabulous. 3 of us visited Newcastle-upon-Tyne for the rugby weekend. Found this location last minute and we absolutely loved it. Marilyn was a great host. Definitely looking to book again.

Sehr geräumig, gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wunderschön ruhige Lage mit Blick ins Grüne. Die Begrüßung mit Obst-, Frühstückskorb und Gebäck sehr lieb und persönlich. Ein traumhafter Garten. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Excellent staycation! Very generous host, leaving lots of lovely welcome treats. We loved the huge garden and seeing the beautiful horses over the fence, even my teenagers enjoyed their stay!
