OUR HOUSE WAS VERY NICE, BUT THE RULES FOR THE AREA WHERE IT WAS, WERE TERRIBLE. THE HOUSE WAS FAIRLY CLEAN, HOWEVER HOUSEKEEPING DIDN'T QUITE FINISH BEFORE THEY LEFT. THERE WAS DIRTY SILVERWARE LEFT IN THE DRAWER, TRASH LEFT AROUND OUTSIDE THE BUILDING (INCLUDING THE BALCONY), AND THE TRASH CAN WAS OVERFLOWING (VERY STINKY). THEY ALSO LEFT THE MAIN ENTRY DOOR OPEN. WHEN WE CALLED THE PROPERTY MANAGER AT 5:30 TO DISCUSS THESE ISSUES, THE VOICE-MAIL SAID THEY WERE OPEN UNTIL 6. WE GOT A CALL BACK AT AROUND 4 ON THURSDAY. THE STACKED WASHER/DRYER WAS WAY TO SMALL FOR THAT SIZE UNIT. THE BIKES DO NOT MATCH THE PICTURE. THERE WERE SEVERAL BEACH ITEMS IN THE GARAGE. THE POOL AREA WAS VERY LARGE, AND VERY NICE. THE WALK TO THE BEACH WAS A 5 MINUTE FAIRLY EASY WALK. THERE WAS HOWEVER ABOUT 20 STAIR STEPS DOWN TO THE WATER. THE BEACH IS WHAT MADE THIS VACATION, NOT SO MUCH OF A VACATION. MOST OF THE BEACH IS 'PRIVATE'. ABOUT 200' TO THE LEFT OF THE STAIRS IS FILLED WITH 5 ROWS OF OVER-PRICED BEACH CHAIRS. BEYOND THAT IS A DIFFERENT 'BEACH' YOU WERE NOT ALLOWED ON. TO THE RIGHT ARE MORE BEACH CHAIRS. THERE IS ABOUT 120' BETWEEN THEBEACH CHAIRS WHERE YOU ARE ALLOWED TO GO. WE HAD TO GET DOWN THERE AT 6AM EVERY MORNING TO 'CLAIM' OUR SPOT. WE WERE PACKED INTO THIS AREA LIKE SARDINES. THE WORSE PART WAS, THAT BEYOND THE CHAIRS TO THE RIGHT, FOR ABOUT A MILE THE BEACH WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY. THESE WERE PRIVATE BEACHES FOR THE HOUSE. YOU COULD ONLY GO DOWN THERE BELOW THE HIGH TIDE LINE. THE AREA WAS VERY NICE, LOTS OF PLACES TO WALK TO. VERY EXPENSIVE THOUGH. IF YOU WANTED GROCERIES OR FAST FOOD, IT WAS ABOUT A 15-20 MINUTE DRIVE. THE SIDEWALKS NEEDED TO BE WIDER, OR A BIKE LANE NEEDS TO BE ESTABLISHED. WE WERE CONSTANTLY DODGING BIKES. OUR ADVICE, DON'T GO HERE UNLESS IT IS OFF SEASON. THE BEACH RULES MADE THIS VACATION STRESSFUL AND ALMOST UNENJOYABLE.

Loved this house!! It had everything we needed. We all loved the extra stuff that came in the garage and the extra fridge!! Walking to the beach took no time at all. We would definetly rent this house again

The home was beautiful and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and plenty big enough to cook meals for the family. I loved the location, the front row of homes on 30A made it easy for small children to walk to the beach. We appreciated the use of the bikes and not having to rent them. The rental definitely made our vacation more enjoyable.

We absolutely loved everything about Soul Surfer!! The place was exactly as pictured and described! We loved the location. The walk to the pool and the beach was perfect. We loved having the bikes in the garage and took advantage of riding them to breakfast each day. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. We have stayed many places along 30A over the years and this is definitely the best! We hope to definitely stay here again!!

We had a great stay! Beautifully decorated. The bottom floor bdrm was a little disappointing with the tiny bunkbeds for kids only. We missed having the bed in there that was in the pics. A big thank you for letting us use all the beach gear.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely property with beautiful ocean views. We really appreciated the bikes that came with the home and the short walk to the beach and pool.

Well appointed, great location, room for lots of folks. Floors needed better cleaning so gave it 4 stars in the cleanliness category. Everything else was great

Location was spot on! Very convenient to everything, homeowner has plenty of bikes and outdoor things needed to save dollars while staying and we truly appreciated the use of those! Parking at home the best ! Maybe would consider working on the sitting , have lots of places for people to sleep but not enough seating at table for guest . Kitchen is a hot mess. Needs redesign major , very hard to have more than two in kitchen at a time . Mattresses really need replacing- bathrooms have been updated but still needs help in the important areas for sleep and kitchen . Manager the best! She is very communitive !

See Ya by the Sea is in an absolutely gorgeous area with lovely amenities. It is well stocked with beach and biking items.

The property was as advertised! Our family loved the See ya by the Sea! The owner came to make sure all is well. The beach is close. The pool is closer and huge! Thanks for a Great stay!

Our entire family enjoyed our stay at "See ya by the Sea". It was about a 5 min walk to the beach and we enjoying walking to Rosemary and Alys as well to enjoy dinner, concerts, and little shopping. The house was very nice and the bedding arrangements worked great for having 5 kiddos under 5, and it was so nice having bikes, beach toys, umbrellas, and beach chairs for use. Would definitely recommend for family vacations. We all had a wonderful time. Thank you!

The property and it’s surroundings were beautiful! The house was clean, well kept, and had plenty of room - even for our large group of 8 adults and 7 children. The amenities were plentiful (beach toys, fishing poles, beach chairs, etc.) BUT getting all that to the beach was a huge challenge! That being said, this was obviously a family vacation for us so finding a family-friendly property was imperative. We researched this property and others extensively before making our decision. Unfortunately, we were made aware of a few rules ‘upon arrival’ that if we knew of before hand, we would have chosen another property. First, “No wheeled traffic is allowed... to include rolling coolers and wagons.” Second, “No tents or canopies are allowed on the beach.” Third, “Everything must be ‘carried’ to the beach.” Lastly, “All children will be removed from the pool for the last 15 minutes of every hour for adult swim.” Not only was our group large but it consisted of 6 children under the age of 5 to include an infant. We came equipped to roll our tents and supplies to the beach (a mere 200 yards away) but were forced to alter our plans (and drive to a public beach 2 miles away) because of the rules. The rules are not bad rules, but in my honest opinion, they don’t marry up to the “family friendly” description this particular property advertises. Potential renters should definitely be made aware of these rules (and many others - 5 pages long) prior to signing an agreement. Also, the internet and dishwasher did not work the first day we were there. To the property manager’s credit, they were fixed within 24 hours of us informing them. Again, the property was beautiful and nobody can argue the well manicured landscape of 30A, but renters should be forewarned of the excessive, and potentially plan altering rules.

The house was amazing and fully equipped with everything we needed. From all the beach equipment you could want to even having a crib and toys for our infant. We would definitely come back!

Our family felt right at home in this great house in Seacrest. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place on 30A. We will definitely be staying here again.

Had issues with freezer not working, 3 of the bikes were in operable. Wifi didn’t work. Dishes, pots, pans were old/cheap and we had to clean them before we could use them, Will pick another place next time.

We stayed here last week for 7 days with 6 Adults and 6 Kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. House is very well equipped from the kitchen to the garage. The house is right on 30A so it’s a relatively short walk to the beach. The owners were very nice too.

We had a fun week at your house in Seacrest! The kids loved the “kids room” upstairs and enjoyed playing with toys left in the closet. This house had more than enough space for us to spread out and enjoy our stay. Our one suggestion would be room darkening curtains for the kids room as the sun shines very brightly in that room at 5:30 in the morning in the summer. Thanks for a fun week!

We loved staying at See Ya By The Sea! The trams were great to take us to the beach and the home was fully equipped with everything we needed. The Seacrest community is wonderful and it’s so nice to ride the bikes around the area.

This was our 2nd time staying at Sea Ya By The Sea and I can only say wonderful things about the house, the beach, the owners etc. Beautifully remodeled and another wonderful week of memories in the books. Thank you SO much!
