The house was perfect for my husband and I, our 3 adult children, their spouses and 3 grandchildren to spend Christmas week together. The two living areas were wonderful. The kitchen is large and had everything that we needed to cook in every night. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was spacious and well-appointed. It had everything we needed -- kitchen appliances, a large refrigerator, comfortable beds, extra blankets, and a washing machine & dryer. Everything was clean and it was obvious that the house was well-taken care of. Karen and Matt were excellent hosts. They responded very quickly to any questions we had. We very much appreciate their flexibility and consideration in refunding the pet deposit when our plans changed, and our daughter's dog was not going to be staying with us. I highly recommend the Sea Horse cottage for families! Cape May was wonderful in the off-season -- we went whale watching, visited the Washington Street Mall, a winery, strolled on the beachfront promenade and explored neighborhoods, took long walks on the beach, and enjoyed the nature trails near the lighthouse. Beautiful!

Our family just completed a wonderful stay at the Seahorse Cottage in Cape May. The cottage was a lovely place to come "home" to after spending the day either on the beach or exploring the town. It is conveniently located and a short walk to everything we wanted to do. The cottage was the perfect place for our family to enjoy time together but with enough nooks and crannies for some quiet time if someone one wanted to. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while in Cape May. We hope to be back in the near future.

The many requirements for check out made it quite stressful. We rented the linen service they offered, the bedding was quite inaccurate, to Karen’s credit she brought new sheets the right size. The towels bins were mislabeled, which I just realized at check out. I spent lots of time counting and make it all fit to what the labels read.. Finally the request to vacuum the entire house, I found excessive as we paid a substantial fee for the cleaning. We don’t vacuum our respective houses, 3 different households, parents and children, we have cleaning services that do it for us. Having to spent the last morning, all before 10:00 AM almost spoiled an otherwise wonderful experience.

This was a fabulous rental, and I would definitely recommend it. The location is perfect - an ice cream shop, liquor store, multiple bakeries, and restaurants were all just a few blocks away. The beach was an easy 10 min walk, and carts and a wagon were conveniently provided to help bring chairs & beach gear. The house was well equipped with lots of kitchen stuff for easy cooking & grilling. Lots of bikes, beach gear, etc. Everything you need! The porches are heavenly. We would definitely stay here again. Matt & Karen were very communicative every step of the way. My *only* criticism is that the mattresses could be changed out for something newer/more comfortable. But honestly, I still slept like a stone after a long day of sun & sand at the beach :)

All of us were disappointed - this was an expensive rental, and we chose it because of other reviews. So we recognize that others may have been happy, but we were not. We would have been happier if the owners seemed willing to do any level of service recovery - even validate our concerns. nada. Our collective issues: 1. cleanliness - grill grates with leftover meat, kitchen floor only superficially clean, upstairs air filter filthy, dirty sponge left in sink 2. amenities missing or broken (partial list) - bikes unrideable as is (all tires needed air, 2 flat), beach cart broken, DVD remote missing so DVD player unusable, outdoor shower door handle fell off, cleaning supplies and washer pods missing at start of rental, grill not functioning properly 3. 3rd floor not as advertised - "bedroom with 2 twins" is NOT a bedroom, it is simply an open area with no privacy and extremely close to stairwell, no door, and severely sloped ceilings so easy to hit head at night.

The front porch was a wonderful space for my elderly mom and my family to reconnect. We spent much of our time chatting and laughing, and just hanging out together! We truly enjoyed our beach week!

Had a lovely week at “ SeaHorse Cottage “ . Easy walk to the beach . House accommodations worked well for us. Having beach chairs and bikes was great. Loved having the pass for an additional 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. The kitchen had everything we needed . There are 3 porches to sit out and enjoy and a nice yard with picnic table. Easy walk into town. Treasured memories were made here.

Spent a wonderful week with family and so enjoyed getting to know the west end of Cape May. We especially loved the porches!

The house and the neighborhood are awesome. You are only a few minutes walk to Washington Mall and there are a few restaurants within a couple blocks as well. Once you walk in the door you immediately relax and that is a feeling you cannot put a price on. This is a fantastic property and the owners and accessible and communication is easy.

We have been going down to cape May for Easter weekend for a couple years and this is hands down the best house we have stayed in. Big enough for all of us (7adults 4 kids) and we never felt like we were in each other’s way. Clean and updated. Plus a tv room on the 3rd floor. We brought our own PlayStation but there was one there. This was huge for the kids to have their own space. Location is great. Far enough away from the center of cape May that we never had to worry about parking but close enough to walk to everything. We he garage full of bikes was a nice bonus so we didn’t have to bring our own down. The only downside I found was that the tvs not in the main living area all had limited basic channels. I didn’t really care because I don’t go down to cape May to watch tv. I will 100% rent this house again.

This spacious, well equipped home was perfect for our multi generational group to have Thanksgiving together. Everyone had their own space, their own TVs and bathrooms! Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. Close to everything Cape May has to offer.

Prior to arrival Karen communicated rapidly and with ease. The house is perfect for two families with plenty of rooms and chill out places for the kids. The bikes were In great condition. The best part was walking a short distance to the beach and having the chairs etc right in the beach box. Fabulous trip, amazing hosts, and fantastic house!

The house was clean and had everything we needed. Loved the front porch with the fans for relaxing and watching the lovely tree lined street and neighborhood comings and going’s. It was great to have the bikes available for cruising to town and beyond. Good location with restaurants within walking distance and cape may center a short bike ride away.

The younger teens enjoyed the third floor common areas. The bikes were a big hit for the kids and some adults. The location is about a mile walk to the beach, which we loved as part of our morning family walks. Matt and Karen were great and provided us with a wonderful opportunity for a fun and memorable vacation.
