Had a great time and house was wonderful in a good location!

The house was really nice, and the decor was lovely, with nice furniture and calming colors. The mattresses seemed to be high quality and were comfortable. The central air conditioning was great on hot summer days and nights. The host, Drew, seemed quite conscientious. The house is located on a large lot with a peaceful treed backyard with ample seating on the patio. Behind the yard is a beautiful wetlands area with water lilies, frogs, blackbirds, and I even saw a heron and egrets. The house is very close to a grocery store, some restaurants, and the main road, but is quiet because it's on a side street. It's about a 15 minute drive to wonderful Bushkill Falls in one direction and to Stroudsburg in another direction. This was our first trip to the Poconos, and we feel fortunate to have had such a great place to stay. The only improvements I could suggest would be a few more small touches to make it more homey and a small pantry and a cutting board in the kitchen. But I would definitely stay there again were I in the area!

The house was clean, spacious, well appointed, and a lovely location! We were in the area for a wedding at Shawnee and really appreciated. The convenient location. Shawnee was an easy drive and yet we had a big grocery store, go karts, and the Mount Nebo park nearby. Not only that, the house has a great deck and yard, as well as a comfortable living room and fun basement. A great Place to stay comfortably anytime of the year.

First of all I do not like to give bad reviews at all but this was unexpected. I have looked for a lake house for more than half a year. I contacted the host verifying if his house was a lake house and he confirmed. Now, don’t get me wrong the house was clean and beautiful but once I got there there was no lake house it was a small pond with grass all over. I have contacted the house and he went back and forth with me. The host clearly knew that lake house was important for me and my family which there was no lake.
Please be aware this is NOT A LAKE HOUSE.
Please do not advertise it as a lake house. I have pictures to prove.

The house & property were wonderful. Our 3-year-olds loved being able to roam the yard, walk to the pond, and watch the frogs & baby turtle in the backyard water feature. Lots to do nearby! Easy access to shopping & restaurants.

Our Thanksgiving trip was very pleasant. The owners were very responsive and answered all the questions. We enjoyed our evenings by the fireplace and movie nights in the entertainment room. The house provides all your essentials and is very clean. We did some fishing and purchased our Christmas tree at the nearby farm, which was a perfect ending to our long weekend.

A super fun ski weekend!
Very convenient to everything we needed and where we wanted to go! Less than 5 minutes to Shawnee Mt, local eateries, and shopping. The house was as advertised...beautifully renovated and comfortable. We would absolutely rent it again!

Great winter weekend getaway
My family had a great time staying at this property! Drew and Jayme provided all the linens soaps and household items we needed. The backyard was a fun place for the kids to play games outside and we loved having drinks and s’mores by the fire pit. The house was clean and well maintained and it was great having the basement for the kids to retreat to. Would definitely stay here again

Christmas time in The Poconos
My family had a wonderful time spending the holidays in The Poconos and this home was just what we needed! The house was spacious, clean and close to both ski resorts, Camelback and Shawnee Mountain. Along with 4 adults, were 4 kids ready for a fun vacation! We enjoyed the large outdoor area exploring the lake, roasting marshmallows by the fire pit and the basement was key to entertaining all the kids. A grocery store and pharmacy were less than a mile away which came in handy since we forgot a few items and did a bunch of home cooking on the grill. Thank you Jaymee and Drew for opening your property to us and making our holiday cozy and comfortable!

Family Thanksgiving Vacation
My family and I used this location for our family Thanksgiving getaway. The home was comfortable and had everything to host an excellent thanksgiving gathering. The accommodation was as advertised. I like most that there were areas in the house for smaller group activities, for example, movie room, game room, and fire pit area and deck outdoor.
I would definitely use this home again.

Family Weekend
Good communication with host. House was pretty much as described. Some seating in the living room is a little tired and not very comfortable. Linens and towels were very nice but it would have been nice to have kitchen towels (luckily we had brought our own). Limited information regarding expectations for check out (what to do with used towels, strip sheets off beds?, etc.). Overall, we had a great stay, the location was great and the house for the price was a good value.

Perfect for Girls Trip
This property is fabulous. The listing doesn't do it justice. You have to experience this house first hand for yourself. The neighborhood is perfect....everything you need is no more than 15-20 mins away. We loved the theater/game room. This house is spacious, clean and comfortable. The hosts are fantastic and their response time is amazing. This house lacks nothing at all. Looking forward to renting this space in the future.

House was clean an well maintained. Had extra perks not found in typical vacation rentals and was better than the listing indicated. Owner was very responsive when something happened (was a random occurrence and no fault of theirs). Highly recommended!

Beautiful home, poor water feature
This house was beautiful inside! It was very clean and linens were provided. The back outdoor area was great for relaxing. The water feature was deceptive and filled with vegetation. We were unable to utilize it.

We stayed here with kids and like the property very much. House was clean and organized. The kitchen was very well stocked with all equipment needed to cook. Highlight for the kids was basement with games and theatre. Overall it was a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful stay at your home. The house was very clean and cozy. There was plenty of everything we needed-towels, bedding, shampoos etc. The children especially enjoyed the game room!! The hosts were very accomodating, and quick to respond. The only disappointment we had was that the lake was so full of water growth that there was very little space left to canoe. We would definately recomend this house to anyone looking for something clean and cozy!!

Great vacation spot
We had a great time! Perfect location. We had a few issues in the beginning due to prior renters however as Soon as Jayme and Drew heard about the issues they were there the same day to fix the issue. Only disappointment is that you could swim or fish in the lake as it is protected waters however you are able to canoe with the brand new ones they provide

So many perks
The property owners are very responsive and responsible. They provide you with so many perks and the home is full of pleasant surprises. I would have given it 5 stars but for the challenges in the kitchen. The kitchen needs items for cooking and food preparation such as a full size coffee pot and a good skillet. I am sure Jaymee and Drew will continue to evolve there lovely vacation rental. I look forward to next year.

The house was perfect for a guys’ weekend in the Poconos. The house was in a great location near plenty of stores/restaurants. The theater seating in the basement was cool. Nice big fire pit with plenty of wood. Drew and Jaymee made check-in and check-out easy and were great hosts.

Amazing Getaway Weekend
The place was everything the pictures promised and more. The space is amazing - canoeing out back, movie in the basement, bbq out on the deck. The furnishings were better than most short-stays. Specifically, the beds were comfortable and the towels were thick and fluffy. We did not explore the area much, but it was very convenient in terms of picking up food and beverages. Would highly recommend.

Guys Trip to the Poconos
Jaymee & Drew's place was a great home base for a guy's weekend in the Poconos. Out back there's a grill, patio seating, hammock, and a fire pit. The inside highlight was definitely the basement - air hockey and theater seating was a great place to wrap up the day. Shopping center was literally a minute away so made it easy to stock up on supplies - there's even a bus to/from NYC for those that don't drive. All in all, very relaxing weekend - definitely recommend!
