Right on the beach. Excellent communication with the management when we had a question and minor issue. The cottage could use some updated furniture.

We had a wonderful stay at the lakehouse. House was clean, beach was beautiful. Great communication between us and the management. We have been here before and are planning on coming back next year! Thank you all!

The location was awesome...but the cleanliness could have been better. We had multiple issues, but were fixed quickly after letting management know of them. The listing wasn't accurate with the beds, but we ended up making it work.

I used two of the cabins and they were both so cute and “beachy”. The beach is expansive and the water so cool and clean. Really-I could see the sandy bottom even in pretty deep water. The beach is right outside your door in the Lakeside cabin and only a few steps more from the Captain’. There are fire rings, lounge chairs, decks with tables, gas grills and a lovely wooden swinging bench. It was easy to find and it was convenient to drive and pick up groceries or visit restaurants. I had some issues checking in, but they helped me via text until I was able to access my cabins. There were issues with watching the TVs, but they did a lot to try to alleviate the situation. There were issues with the bed, but they sent help who fixed it perfectly. Overall I highly recommend this property for your Michigan adventure. It is right on the highway, no woods walks, but 23 grows quite quiet. I slept wonderfully even though I am sensitive to road sounds

Located right on a nice, dog friendly beach. House is spacious and has everything needed for a short stay. AC in living room works well but bedrooms were warm. Fans for bedrooms are available. TV didn’t work well during our stay, possibly due to slow internet connection. Access code to door didn’t work but I reached Mitten Easily and the problem was resolved.

Our group of 3 greatly enjoyed our stay. This property met our needs as far as sleeping and making meals and was quite comfortable. The beach access was amazing with the ability to walk along the shore in both directions.

Had a nice, peaceful stay. Cottage was clean and the location was quiet. The beach is the highlight and we enjoyed bonfires in the evening. Would recommend for a family looking for a quiet beach escape!

Great family get away. Clean and affordable winter getaway. Would definitely come ba k. Would love to check it out in summer.

We enjoyed nice quality time with a fire and gorgeous view of Lake Huron. Nice area with town just a few minutes away. Cabin was much larger than expected and overall nice. There are a couple areas that need some TLC. Mattress in the master bedroom was horrible and we were very disappointed that the jacuzzi tub did not work. We would definitely book again & check it out in the warmer months hopefully with a new mattress!

The location of this property was great! Awesome views of Lake Huron on a clean sandy beach. Home is nicely decorated, and checkin/out process was super easy.

The cottage is wonderful. The layout with spacious and open and access to the beach is phenomenal. We had trouble with the door checking in but the property managers were easily accessible and helped to find a solution quickly. The only thing that I would improve is that there are no hooks for hanging any clothes or towels. And the master bedroom did not have any drawers to put clothing. If they would add a dresser to the master bedroom and hooks in the bathroom, the place would be perfect. We hope to go back again next year.

Our visit was snow filled, frozen and beautiful. We had a long strip of the area to ourselves. It was peaceful and the perfect spot to enjoy the lake.

Lovely cottage right on the beach. Very nicely furnished, comfortable beds, good Wi-Fi connection, and we could even bring our dog. This was just perfect for us! We look forward to returning.

The photos don't really reflect the current condition of the property. They were obviously taken years ago after a renovation. Only slapdash maintenance has been done since. All the screens were ripped and the screen door fell off. The hot and cold water is reversed in the tub, leading to injury. Laminate flooring is peeling up, and cracked and peeling paint are everywhere. The patio umbrella was blown out, and the grill was out of propane.

No matter which unit on this property you choose you'll have abundantly beautiful views on an amazing beach. The Lakeshore was exactly how it was described. It was a cozy warm interior in a peaceful setting. The outdoor shower was nice to have and much needed. A doggie waste bag dispenser attached to the Beach House is available to make cleaning-up after your dog convenient and easy. Easy digital access. Each unit with patio set and umbrella. Make yourself at-home ... We Did!!

If you're looking for a little place right on the beach, this is great. However, the place was not clean. We ended up washing all the bedding when we checked in. All three beds were covered in sand, dog hair, stains, and human hair. Some sand is to be expected because it's on the beach but this was ridiculous.
