We spent 3 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed the house. Its a historic beauty, clean and in a great location. Its walkable to historic St. Augustine and an easy bike ride to Vilano Beach. The yard is great, and we appreciated the usable bikes. Also loved that they decorated for the holidays and provided snack bags. On the downside, the dishwasher did not work, and neither did the outdoor grill. We notified the hosts.

We had a great time at this property, it was so clean and cute inside, had everything we needed and the host was so nice. The host left us a beautiful basket that was tailored to our group, which was a really thoughtful touch! There was a little issue with beds but the host fixed it immediately! Would definitely recommend to anyone going to St Augustine!

My husband and myself along with 2 other couples decided to spend our wedding anniversaries in St. Augustine this year. I found the listing for this home and it was exactly as the photos described. This home is located in a great proximity to many historic attractions and the beach. There are too many extras to list but there is not a detail missing. You will not be disappointed if you choose this home. This was my first VRBO transaction/stay and 17 May has set the bar pretty high. If we return to the area again, we hope to stay here.

We stayed in St. Augustine following our Disney Vacation. We do this often because we all know that Disney is not relaxing. This charming cottage was the perfect spot for our family to enjoy St. Augustine and relax. The proximity to the beaches, as well as downtown was perfect for us. We were able to walk around when we wanted to and the short drive to down was perfect. The cottage itself was absolutely beautiful and clean! Anything and everything we needed during our stay was thought of and available for us. The size was perfect for me, my husband, our two kids and my grandparents. We can not say enough good things about this place. They also had cute personalized touches for visitors. Thank you so much for such a beautiful place to relax and recoup after a very busy week. We will surely be back again!

The May Street cottage is the best! It’s just around the corner from the beautiful Magnolia St. and The Fountain of Youth. The Property Manager was fantastic! She made it personable and very special for our 50 the Birthday Girl Trip! Would highly recommend. It had everything we needed. We will be rebooking.

The Cottage on May was perfect for our family of five. The home was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. We had plenty of space and walked everywhere we needed to go in St. Augustine's historic area. We really only used the car to head to the beach or grocery store, all of which was super close. Hayley was an exceptional host and provided a special treat for the kids to enjoy on Easter. It made them feel really special. Everything you need is provided and then some. I would definitely recommend staying here and we will definitely book again when returning to the area.

The home was the cleanest VRBO rental we have ever had. In addition the beach chairs, boards and games were a great touch. Overall a very comfortable and enjoyable stay for our whole family.

Hayley was so great to work with. The house was great and the backyard spectacular. The inside of the house was perfect and very welcoming. Walking distance to the historic downtown and a 5 minute drive to the beaches. Truly a classic St Augustine experience.

Cottage on May is adorable and welcoming! Our stay was for our niece’s wedding that was postponed from October due to Hurricane Ian. Hayley responded quickly to our booking and then we needed to make a change and she was very prompt with our request. The Cottage is very clean, well kept. Beds, pillows, towels and furniture very comfortable and a good surprise was a shower with good water pressure! I will definitely book again when we go to St. Augustine.

Four adults (seniors, actually) rendezvoued for the a long weekend and it was perfect. All prior reviews will accurately describe the super cute, (very) clean, (very)comfortable (super)well-equiped and lovely accommodation. But....this is important!.....walk 3-4 blocks and catch the Hop-on/Hop-off trolley so you can see all the local (very cool and historic) attractions without having to drive/deal with parking. An attentive host who has supplied everything (and more...games, TV's in each bedroom, generous welcome treat, comfy beds, very nice linens, quaint place inside and out)... it does not get any better than 17May. Thank you for setting the VRBO bar so high!

The whole process from start to finish was great. The owner is super accommodating letting us arrive early and leave a little late which was very helpful with a baby. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The welcome basket was an extra nice touch. I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

We just loved our stay at the Cottage on May. SO cute! Plenty of room! Perfect for our bachelorette weekend for my soon to be daughter. We recommend staying here for your visit to St. Augustine.

Hayley 's Cottage on May was spectacular. I fell in love as soon as I walked in and just immediately felt at home. The gift basket was a wonderful touch, as was the bottle of wine. My family enjoyed being able to spend the holiday weekend together and Cottage on May made that so much better.

Absolute perfection! No detail was overlooked. The house was clean and well appointed. So many extras…too many to list! Our host was always available to answer questions.

Everything was thought of. Check in/check out was easy and simple and there weren't a lot of rules or special things you need to do. A few gifts on check in like wine an snacks was a lovely touch.

We had my sister's bachelorette here and wow, what an amazing experience from beginning to end. The cottage was beautiful inside and out and close to downtown. We had all the amenities we needed. Our host, Haley, was responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything and surprised us with a special gift basket for our group when we got in! Overall we had an amazing experience and can't wait to go back!

My sister and I had a wonderful time. The cottage is conveniently located (within six minutes of any weekend festivity). It was super comfortable and extremely clean. (you might might want to take your own pillow 😂)

Everything was perfect. No surprises, just a well cared for cottage minutes away from the historic center of St. Augustine as well as the beach. Our family enjoyed sitting around the dining room table and the outdoor area. Excellent host!

The cottage on May is as perfect as the pictures show it to be. They have restored and decorated the house beautifully. My family of 5 had a great time and enjoyed all the extra’s like the bikes, boogie boards, games, etc. Hayley makes you feel welcome from the time you arrive up until you leave. I would definitely recommend it to any of my family and friends and hope to stay again in the future.

We had such a great trip! The cottage was in pristine condition and beautifully decorated. They had every beach supply we could need, which was so helpful traveling with kids! Hayley was easily reachable and promptly responded to any and every question we had! Highly recommend Cottage on May! We will be back!

The host thought of everything, from beach supplies to a mending kit that came in handy. The cottage is beautiful and only a few minutes drive to the fountain of youth and historical district. The only downside was the how busy May street is. Getting out of the driveway was a challenge every time.

Lovely cottage that is close enough to the heart of the historic downtown. Neighborhood is quiet and full of beautiful trees. The family truly enjoyed the stay, but the only thing was that the weather was not cooperative due to heavy rain most every afternoon-evening, so we could not enjoy as much the lovely outdoor area because there is no covered outdoor patio.
