Had a great stay and fun days of scalloping !

The Barefoot Cottages are growing to be a great place to stay in Port St. Joe! They are expanding in the immediate area and across the highway. We were in a tucked away area so we had a secluded corner of the property. A 2 minute drive brings you to Downtown and the Piggly Wiggly. Both places you'll come to know well when you stay here. Downtown offers great oyster bars and and (the BEST place in town!) Joe Mama's Pizza. When you leave Barefoot Cottages, turn right to go to popular beaches and Panama City; turn left to go to the best beaches no one tells you about! the Rish Rec Area is disability oriented and family friendly. Drive passed there to the end of the Cape and find the St Joseph's beaches! Left for waves and right for snorkeling and paddle boarding! We had a great time! We, unfortunately, met the nice guys at Pep Boys in Callaway who took good care of our troubled vehicle. We got our t-shirts at Beach Planet on Cape San Blas. Best choices and prices. Florida tourism tells you that dogs are welcome on all none military beaches. Not true. Call ahead to avoid disappointment.

We had a great time in Port St. Joe. In the past I have spent a lot of time in the FL panhandle. I love that PSJ and the surrounding beaches have the white sugar sand and clear water without the crowds! We ended up loving Mexico Beach and it was such a easy 10 min drive from the cottage. My boys loved having a pool at Barefoot Cottages and the location was perfect. We we’re thankful for such a wonderful few days as a family!

Enjoyed everything about this cottage. Beautifully decorated, fully stocked with essentials and great location between Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe. Owners, Bob and Allie, are so accommodating and responsive! Highly recommend!

The property was very clean and the manager Alley was very helpful. We met some really nice folks and never even jumped in the pool. Thinking to rent this one again in the spring.

This was perfect for my family of 4! We even got to bring our two dogs. Loved the porches! We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Port St Joe. The home was gorgeous with a great pool. The beds so comfortable. We loved it. Communication wasn’t always answered super promptly . And the electronic Lock gave us a lot of problems, otherwise we loved our stay!

We so enjoyed our getaway in the gorgeous secluded cottage! It was such a fun, relaxing, quiet place! We will def visit PSJ again and neighboring Cape San Blas was so beautiful! The food was amazing!! Great trip!

This cottage was so clean upon arrival! The decor was so cute and inviting. Thanks to the screened in porch, there weren’t any Florida bugs getting inside! The cottage had everything we needed! We brought paper products but didn’t use any of our own stuff except laundry pods/paper plates. There are spices and even condiments in the fridge. The fridge kept our food cold, the ac works great, and the shower has great pressure. The pool was perfect at the end of the day for our kids (7&9). We spent more time there than the beach and my kids made so many friends! The cottage is located in the perfect location between Cape San Blas and Mexico beach! We’ve stayed in MB before and never realized Port St Joe had so much to do! Cannot wait to stay here again in the future!

This is a super cute and comfortable two-story home in a community of similar houses. A few steps away from the pool and down a winding path with plenty of trees and landscaping to give a feel of privacy. Both the first and second floor porches are fully screened and well-furnished. We spent a week here with our 5 and 9 year old kids and enjoyed the pool and hot tub daily, as well as a trip to many different local beaches. The owner is an excellent communicator and very friendly. Neighbors were friendly and pleasant and the community became very quiet in the evenings. I'd highly recommend for a family getaway.

The moment we walked into the cottage…….. we both said “Wow”. This is a stunning property, professionally decorated in a “coastal” vibe. From the furniture to the decorations, everything is comfortable, soothing and squeaky clean. The cottage is part of a seaside community with shared pools, hot tubs and grills. The neighbors are friendly and welcoming. And……. This area is a dog lover’s paradise - you can take you furry friend to just about all the beaches, stores and restaurants. We are “foodies” and appreciated the cottage’s fully equipped kitchen. We did bring our own portable gas grill to use outside our cottage. For the freshest seafood, go to St. Joe Shrimp Company. They have several boats that catch shrimp and fish daily. Bayside Bakery has delicious desserts, salads and sandwiches. The Port has a extensive selection of bourbons, beers and wines. For everything else, there is the Piggly Wiggly market. Port St Joe is a hidden gem - nestled next to St Joe Bay, with friendly southern hospitality, this city offer’s a variety of great dining, unique shops and miles of pristine white beaches. A short distance away is Cape San Blas. It’s 11+ miles of beaches, parks and a bike bath that is well kept. Nearby is Windemark beach park with walking/biking trails extending thru the Windemark Community and miles on to yet another beach access. Ali, the host of this property, is an exceptional hostess. She is quick to respond, knowledgeable, friendly and a true example of a Premier Host. She anticipated all of our needs with everything from laundry detergent to a coffee station. Thank you Ali!

Enjoyed our short stay. Great unit, fully equipped kitchen. Clean. Good location for easy access to Port St. Joe. Nice walks on the nearby beach access. The only minor thing missing here is a outdoor grill, or common area outdoor grill.

This is a great choice for a getaway in the Port St. Joe area! The house is very nicely decorated and was super clean. It's a short drive to Windmark Beach, and close to Cape San Blas and Mexico Beach as well. The house faces the highway, but it didn't affect our ability to sleep.

Perfect get away. Beautiful, comfortable cottage in a quiet development. Beaches, shopping and restaurants close by. Wonderful place to relax and recharge. Host very accommodating. We loved it!!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It was in the cutest community with a really nice pool. It was super convenient to Port St Joe shopping and restaurants. The property is newly redecorated and is so pretty. It is super clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the linens were really nice. The owners are great and we’re very welcoming and helpful with great info about the area. We would definitely stay here again!

I’ve been staying in PSJ/CSB for my whole life and never had the pleasure of staying in Barefoot Cottages. So glad we did! House was very clean, had all the items we needed. Convenient to pool, as advertised, but also secluded enough for some privacy.

We were looking for place to take our dog and do lots of activities with her and Port St Joe hit my radar. This house looked comfortable and convenient to the places we wanted to visit. It is beautifully decorated, very clean, wonderfully stocked kitchen and the hosts are so helpful. We loved the community.
