My husband and I stayed at Surfs Up at the end of May, 2024. We loved it! The unit is as advertised and has a fantastic location. The beach directly across the street (which is visible from the deck and living room) is absolutely gorgeous. We spent the late afternoon there enjoying the setting sun, which was just spectacular. The unit itself was perfect for the two of us as it allowed my husband to watch TV in the living room and me to lie in bed reading with the door closed, undisturbed. The deck is a great spot with a beautiful view. It is off a rather main road, so you will hear some cars going by, but it was not something that I found disruptive. Having the golf cart included was a major plus as we flew down from NJ and did not have a car. For anyone who has not been to AMI: the island is easily navigated end to end by golf cart. We had a great stay and would love to go back!

Property was exactly as listed. Very cute! Perfect for my 18 year old daughter and I. Still could see water from across the street. Heavy traffic on road but to be expected in the busy season. Had ALL the stuff we needed for the beach and the golf cart made the trip. We did some cooking, appliances could use a little updating, but got the job done.

My husband and I rented for the weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we had a great time! The place was stunning and exactly as show. The only issue we had was the front left burner of the stove did not work but that didn’t stop us from having a blast! We will be renting again 😂

Will stay again in future. Just as advertised. Great location and awesome view. Had everything we needed! Hope to come back next year!!!!

We stayed on the upper level & absolutely loved the view of the ocean from the deck. We enjoyed our morning coffee and wine in the evening at sunset on the deck. Very clean, grill & hot tub included along with a golf cart so we didn’t’ rent a car-could go all over the island in golf cart or free trolley, which was steps away. On a pretty busy main drive up and down the island, but that didn’t bother us. We’d return again! Karen & Tom R.

Anna Maria island is a beautiful area to explore. Food and beaches and biking I highly recommend. The property is located across the street from the beach, which was ideal. Although the road is very busy, it’s hard to sit out on the nice deck that they have. The kitchen has everything you would need..enjoyed.

The unit was light and cheerful. It was great to have use of the golf cart. They had every beach toy imaginable.

We loved our short stay in spite of it being unusually cold. We made the best of it. Explored the island, top to bottom and the location could not have been better. The bed was extremely comfortable and the private deck was peaceful and great for relaxing. Everything worked out great and we hope to return in April.

Great location, golf carts +++ seat belts need fixing. Cool vibe house. Hot water was irregular needs to be addressed. House was well equiped with everything you need for a fun time. Overall we had a great time at. The house, would book again.

We had a fantastic stay! Loved driving the golf cart around and walking over to the beach each day. The hot tub was great to have, especially since our visit was a bit chilly. Our space was clean, bright, and had everything we needed. If you're in Anna Maria Island, don't miss The Fox Mercantile. Such a cute spot with great coffee!

The rental was perfect for our pre-holiday decompression. The owner went above and beyond, picking my gf and I up, after we got stranded in the golf cart (which was our fault - turn it all the way off when not in use! :)) Would definitely return and recommend.

What a place! We were spoiled and would not rent a place without a golf cart anymore! It is now a must! The space was very well thought out. The hot tub and the surrounding yard space was fantastic as well. All the little touches went a long way. Not to mention it is second row with a fantastic view of the water and it is across the street from a massage center. Getting around was very convenient. I would highly recommend!

The view and location are amazing! The house is on a busy street so sitting out on the deck isn’t quiet but the view makes up for it. You do have to cross the busy street to get to the beach. We loved having access to the golf cart, the seatbelts definitely need replaced. Half the time they got stuck and/or didn’t work. Communication before the stay was a little slow but overall we had a great stay.

We loved our stay on Anna Maria. It was the perfect location to night life and the beach. We loved the hot tub, beach supplies and golf cart. We'll be back :)

You couldn't ask for a better location! Right outside the door is a stop for the free bus/trolley that runs the entire length of the island. The golf cart was really nice to have and we enjoyed tooling around the island. Amazing views of the water with beach access right abroad the street. It was close to Bridge Street but far enough away to be quieter and in the middle of the north and south end of the island. We stayed for our anniversary weekend and had a lovely time. The place was perfect for the two of us and included everything that we needed. A luggage rack would be nice but that would be the only suggestion for improvement. Everything was easy when it came to check in and check out and the instructions were perfect. Can't wait to visit again!

Surfs Up is fantastic! We just got back and highly recommend it! The unit is steps away from Bradenton Beach and has amazing views from the top deck. They have everything you could possibly need to enjoy the beach. Umbrellas, chairs, floats, wagons to haul it all, bikes and the best part is it comes with a very nice golf cart that you can take anywhere on the island. It was extremely hot while we were there and the air conditioning unit kept us nice and cool. The unit has a full kitchen with everything you could need, also includes beach towels, bath towels,linens,extra blankets etc and a washer and dryer as well. By far one of our best VRBO rentals, highly recommend it!

We had a husband and wife getaway. And it was the absolute best. I cant wait to come back again next year.

This was really a wonderful place for the wife and I. Great location, and close to all the nicest shops and restaurants. The owner, Adam is very engaging and pleasant. It was an absolute pleasure and look forward to coming back.

Surfs up is a perfect low key spot. Steps from beach, Golf cart and laundry on site, deck with water view. Cute and quirky.

Overall is was a fun trip and we enjoyed the house. Our adult kids/spouses booked the lower and my wife and I had the upper. The view from the upper was nice as you can see the beach. The good: Bed was super comfortable, air worked great and the place was clean. The no-so good: A bit noisy with all the traffic. Our biggest complaint is the maintenance of the golf carts. One cart has bald tires and shakes a lot while driving, the other had bad seat belts and a few other elec. things not working. Hot tub didn't work at first but found the tripped breaker. Water was too strong with chemicals. Ice maker in the fridge doesn't work nor one of the stove burners. Toilet overflowed on the first flush with nothing in it. If the carts we fixed up/made safe and the other minor maintenance items corrected, we would stay there again.

Paradise ! The house is simply PERFECT! Beach vibe and feel. Steps to beach. My husband and I had a very relaxing week in this hidden gem. We wouldn't change a thing. :-)

Cannot best location. Golf cart a real bonus and bikes are super as well. Place was very clean and very comfortable. Really loved location

My daughter and I greatly enjoyed the location, decor and cleanliness of this studio. We loved being able to walk down the steps and hop on the golf cart too! We used the bikes to get around as well. We would definitely stay here again! ❤️

Our stay at Surf’s Up was wonderful. The house was exactly as described on vrbo. Adam was an awesome host, responding promptly to messages and having everything prepared for our stay. I just wish I could have stayed longer!
