House was an amazing respite, exceeded expectations on almost every level! Immaculately clean, well appointed, great communication. Kristen was thoughtful and quick to respond at every step of the trip from planning to arrival to checkout. I’d been wanting to visit and stay at Bald Head for years but coming from the west coast, was looking for a partial week stay. Kristen was flexible and made it happen and I will be forever grateful! Even the person who was not a “beach person” fell in love with BHI. We loved driving around on the golf carts and exploring the pristine beaches. The house was a relaxing escape from the heat of summer. Our 4yo immediately immersed herself in the play room and entertained herself for longer than expected, allowing the adults time to relax and prep food, etc. Kitchen was well equipped and rooms were perfect. One of the best vacation rentals I’ve ever stayed at!

This was a perfect house for us this year! Only one daughter and family could come this time (other one just had my two week old grandson) and size and location was fantastic! Convenient, nice cul-de-sac where my 8 and 5 year old granddaughters could ride bikes and my 18 month old grandson even cruised on his scooter up and down the street. Our 8 year old had a surprise acquaintance and siblings staying across the street and they played soccer out most evenings! Another great addition was the “kids living room” well stocked with games, books and puzzles! Perfect! Also nice to be able to have guest memberships to both clubs! House was clean and neat, well stocked, and all in working order. We really took advantage of all BHI has to offer this year! Thanks, Kristan, for use of your beautiful home!

Love this house. Location is perfect

The property and location were perfect. We were there for work and it was wonderful to have a retreat to come back to at the end of each day. The property was well stocked, very clean and homeowners were very communicative! I would absolutely rent it again!

The property was very clean , owner was very communicative. The house met our needs perfectly. One thing just to be aware of is one of the bathrooms has a handheld shower/tub (not a deal breaker by any means). Very convenient to have two golf carts , 4 bikes and the location is convenient, but its Bald Head and long golf cart ride is a win !!

Nice house in a great location

Needed a place for 5 or 6 of my son's groomsmen to stay, and also be a central gathering spot. Fit the bill perfectly as it was close to the house we were staying in and close to the marina and the BHI Club. This house worked out great.

We have stayed at this house now for several years. The layout is perfect for our family and friends. The kids love the bunk room and “kids lounge” off the main living area. The house is in a cul-da-sac which makes it quiet and cozy.

Our family has been vacationing at BHI every year for a long time, but this is our second time at this well-designed, clean, bright home. It is ideal for a family vacation, with enough room to spread out, good shared space, an updated and working kitchen, and plenty of patios. The carts are well-maintained with plenty of power, and as always, the island itself is a respite from the world. The owners are immediately responsive and absolutely committed to helping their guests have a great experience. Highest recommendation.

The house has a great layout for a large family and is located conveniently to all activities on the island. Would recommend to anyone looking to vacation on Bald Head!

Nice coastal decor tastefully done. House is homey but spacious and has small decks to enjoy the treetops and sip tea! (Or champagne) we enjoyed our stay.

What a great long-weekend getaway. Perfect location...close to the beach access, close to the marina, lighthouse and church.

We had a wonderful time at Wanderlust over our Spring Break. The house is equipped with everything a family with children would need. The best part was the little playroom off of the dining room. It was GREAT for the kids. The property managers are great communicators and everything was just perfect! Would definitely stay here again!

This was our second time staying in the house. We love the location, close to the ferry and the Bald Head Island Club. The house is the perfect fit for our family and friends. The kids love the bunk room.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at Wanderlust. The house was very clean when we arrived. Our family loved the layout of the home and particularly enjoyed the open space upstairs with the TV, kitchen and dining area. The enclosed porch with kids games was perfect for families with little ones. Beds were comfortable and the house had plenty of beach items and 2 great golf carts. The owner Kristen was very responsive and easy to work with. We would stay again on our next visit to BHI.

Wanderlust is a clean, well-managed and well-located property that my family of five could not have been happier with. The family room and kitchen are comfortable and well appointed. While we no longer have small children, those who do will appreciate the enclosed playroom for younger kids, though our older ones also enjoyed shutting themselves off from time to time! The master bedroom is comfortable and has a better-than-usual BHI master bathroom. The other bedrooms are equally comfortable. The location is close to BHI and several of the better beach access areas. Can't recommend enough and the owners are very accessible and friendly. Happy to recommend.

Awesome location, will stay again

We recently enjoyed a two week vacation at this lovely, well-equipped, and comfortable pretty blue house on a quiet cul-de-sac, just above West Bald Head Wynd, with views of the golf course and glimpses of the sea. From start to finish, Kristin was a great host and responsive owner. We loved the location. Easy access to the marina, Old Baldy, and the market, either by golf cart or on foot. The beautiful beaches near Frying Pan Shoals are just an easy ride away, but the best spot for shells is just across the street between beach accesses 9 and 11, at the rock "groins." It's a thing, truly! BHI is one of our very favorite places, and now that we are back in Cincinnati, with cicadas buzzing incessantly, we have really lovely memories to tide us over to our next visit!

Such a lovely home, close to the calm beaches which is great for kids and also close to the marina. The house has two master bedrooms which is great for 2 families. The upstairs sunroom is an added bonus for kids. Can’t wait to go back!

Spent a low key spring break at this beautiful location. House was everything and more than we expected. Kristen was extremely helpful and prompt with her responses. We would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a relaxing get away.
