Had such a blast! The house has such a great theme - so comfortable in every room and the outside is private with a lot of yardage as the backyard opens to the riverbank, so many places to find and chill to make perfect memories as the clouds come cascading over views of Whiteface mountain…can’t wait to go back!

The cottage is conveniently located in Wilmington. Huge compound with access to the nearby Ausable River. Clean and comfortable beds, in general the cottage was very clean and easy to be heated. Very easy check in procedure and almost instantaneous communication with the host.

House and property are as described. Good base for hiking in the area. Dog friendly with lots of space outdoors. Everything we needed close at hand.

We enjoyed hiking every day from the nearby trailheads, as well as fishing for trout in the backyard, kayaking and canoeing. The place is an outdoorsy heaven. My only advice is to make a stop early on in Lake placid for groceries (about 20 minutes away). Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Large, well maintained property with easy access to the river. Plenty of places for lawn activities, enjoying a fire or watching the river. Short walk to a small market, bridge over the river and a really nice playground. We visited Whiteface mountain, Lake Placid and the wild center in Tupper Lake. All very managable drives from Wilmington. A very charming home, with enough space, even for our party of eight. Jen was easy to contact and quick to respond. We experienced a broken paddle for the canoe, and she had a replacement delivered, no questions asked. We would definitely stay here again.

The yard was spacious and private. The house was perfect and adorable. We had five adults and enjoyed hot tub daily after hikes. The location is great for hiking kayaking swimming and going into Lake placid. Ausable Chasm is a must with there adventure rock climbing event. Great for dogs with exception of o e missing fence panel . I would recommend to all.

Our family of 4 adults and 2 teenagers had a wonderful stay at "Everest Dream". We loved hanging out on the deck overlooking the river, and the screened in gazebo was the perfect quiet spot to read a book or take a nap where the bugs can't get to you! We enjoyed using the fire pit at night for s'mores, the corn hole game, and the hot tub as well. The house was beautifully decorated and had most things that we needed. We appreciated the large rack of hooks and cubbies by the front door for all our coats, hoodies and shoes. The dining table was a bit of a tight fit for all 6 of us to sit around and still be able to access the fridge and walk around the table, but we made use of the outdoor picnic table on the patio as well. Although we didn't realize that the house is located right downtown in Wilmington, you easily forget that you are near other properties when hanging in the large backyard. Wilmington is a short drive to the town of Lake Placid, which has tons of cute shops and restaurants. Highly recommend Lisa G's! We had a wonderful dinner there for Father's Day that was excellent. We also enjoyed visiting High Falls Gorge and Ausable Chasm. Jennifer was a great host and answered any questions that I had. We would love to return to this area of the Adirondacks again, it was so beautiful!

Location, location, location. If you're looking for a property near Veterans Highway, Lake Placid and the Olympic Ski Jumps this is the place for you. The property has plenty of room to relax in outdoor settings. And oh, a hot tub. Had a great stay.

Had an amazing time over the weekend. Great access to many awesome hikes and only 15-20 minutes from Keene. Highly recommend this place and the host was super friendly! Will be coming back

Everest Dream was exactly what my friends and I were looking for- a peaceful relaxing weekend in the Adirondacks. The house is cozy and has everything you need. Plenty of seating outside to take in the views, drink your coffee on the patio, soak in the hottub, and sleep in comfy beds. We used the canoe one morning and met a beaver downstream. A quick drive to Lake Placid to shop and grab some food. Plenty of hiking nearby too! Would definitely come back for longer stay. Location was awesome. Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with us.

We stayed here for a week long trip to ski and check out all of the attractions in Lake Placid. We were so close to Whiteface which made every day so great. The home was great and never felt tight. The view in the backyard of the river and the mountain were breathtaking at sunset. We were walking distance to the pizza shop and less than a minute from the convenience store. Great location and beautiful area.

We had a wonderful stay in this property. The property and hot tub were very clean, it was so peaceful, and the mountain views were beautiful. The pictures absolutely lived up to reality. The owner also had really thought through all the needs having a snack basket, plenty of extra towels, and lots of little bathroom items like qtips, shampoo, soap, and hair ties well stocked.

This was a lovely home for a small group of us friends to enjoy the weekend away. The outdoor space with the covered gazebo and seating by the water was very nice. The owner was excellent with communication!

The house and property are clean and well kept. The hot tub is a relaxing way to unwind after a day of hiking. Our dog loved running around in the yard!

This was the perfect little getaway for our honeymoon! The home was clean, the property was spacious w much to do, and you have an amazing view of the mountains. We hope to return someday !!

Excellent location in Wilmington. Conveniently located close to Keene and Lake Placid. Felt like everything we wanted was quite close. Very much enjoyed taking the canoe on the Ausable River/Lake Everest (see Ausable River Paddle on AllTrails). We also were close enough to Whiteface that when we saw a brief break in the clouds, were able to shoot up Whiteface Memorial Highway and had the place to ourselves. Went for a great hike at Silver Lake Mountain a little northwest of town. Got to enjoy the hot tub briefly one afternoon, but it couldn’t get hot enough for us. But had a great experience, thank you!

House was very comfortable for 4 adults and a dog. Yard was HUGE and perfect for playing with the dog. Beautiful view of the river with both an overlook seating area and an enclosed gazebo for enjoying it.

This home had everything we were looking for. Nice and quiet, hot tub, beautiful property and plenty of space for us all to relax PLUS we we able to bring the fuzzy members of our family who would have been sad if we had to leave them home. We loved sitting on the back porch and unwinding in the hot tub. The river was a nice place and we enjoyed floating and swimming. The stairs were easy enough for us. Jennifer was quick to respond to our questions and even purchased items like baggies and foil before we arrived when we asked if she had it there. The home was stocked with lots of stuff - thankfully we didn't need to find room in our car for those items (TP, paper towels, etc. ). Then we were surprised to find items we forgot like shampoo for the upstairs bathroom, a few spices we forgot to bring, etc. The location of the home was perfect for us. Ausable Chasm, High Falls Gorge and other hiking trails were very close by. Lake Placid shopping is awesome (popcorn store, balsamic vinegars and oils, and many other great stores and wonderful restaurants) and just a short drive (20 min?). Mirror Lake is right there in Lake Placid as well. Highlands Vineyard with Lake Champlain is soooo relaxing and beautiful. We all said "WHOA" when we pulled into the vineyard. Wild Center is an hour away which was the furthest drive for us. But driving in the Adirondacks is so beautiful, it didn't seem like an hour. Drive to the top of Whiteface - awesome views and so close by. We also went to the StoneBridgeandCaves.com. You don't really go into caves except one or two but beautiful walk. Our stay at "Everest Dream" was awesome. So much to do close by and Jennifer was awesome too.

Very clean, as described and great for dogs. Wonderful yard and places to romp and proximity to about everything. I would just say if you plan to cook, bring a frying pan as the one there sticks like crazy. Everything else is fantastic!

Everest Dream really was a dream come true! A home away from home, Everest Dream had everything we were looking for. Peaceful, tranquil, and overall amazing. The property was large enough that, even though there were 8 of us, you could steal yourself away down near the river, or on the screened in porch, or even in the hot tub, and you felt like you had the entire place to yourself. The home was very clean and welcoming, and the binder full of local recommendations was super helpful. We hope to come back to Everest Dream (and hopefully soon!) ☺️

Everest Dream was perfectly located to Whiteface Mountain. Beds were comfortable and the house was stocked with all the amendable needed. There was a Tops supermarket about 15 minutes away where we did our grocery shopping for the week. Jen was very responsive when I had a quick question about the hot tub. I can’t wait to book another ski trip and stay at Everest Dream!

Lovely cabin stay with views of Whiteface mountain. Lots of amenities about in the cabin including a fire pit and a hot tub. The property is right next to the river, but the stone steps are very steep and not friendly for young kids and seniors.

The house was much bigger than we needed. However the availability of the watercraft, the hot tub, the gazebo, and outdoor fire pit sold us on Everest Dream. It ended up raining a lot so most of that list didn't get used this time, but we do hope to return.

We had a great time at the house! It was clean and well stocked with all the things we needed to enjoy our stay. Great big yard for our dog to stretch his legs after long days in the car. About 20 minutes from downtown Lake Placid made it for a nice and quiet stay.

It was a perfect base camp for us to go hiking and kayaking from. The place was clean & comfortable, the kitchen had everything in it we needed, and our bed mattress was tops! I particularly loved the hot tub :)!

What a perfect place to call base camp. Walk or bike to area outdoor recreation, or find almost everthing else within 20 minutes or less. Beautiful ride to all the Olympic attractions. Tucked away but not far from amenities, the house met all of the families expectations.

Stunning views in an amazing location. The property was clean and in great condition. I think our kids are still in the hot tub. 😂🤣. I Highly recommend this rental.
