We had a great time. The cabin was immaculate. Dave was there to greet us. Super helpful, provided lots of tips on things to do and see. The cabin had everything. We were having a family getaway, had lots of time to cook and enjoy the beautiful mountains and landscape New Hampshire has to offer. Thanks Dave, we hope to make this an annual event.

Great weekend away in a perfect spot, Dave is a great host and the cabin right on the river isa perfect get away spot to relax and enjoy whats around you. We would love to come back and visit again in the future

David went above and beyond to have anything you might need available on the property. Great location for covering points of interest on the eastern side of the white mountains and into Vermont.

Absolutely one of our best stays with VRBO. The location was superb, quiet and peaceful but only a few minutes from downtown and located by many scenic drives and hikes. The highlight was undoubtedly the “Pemi” river right behind the cabin and we spent hours enjoying it. Dave was a great host and the house was spotless and had everything we needed.

Camp David was a great location for our very short stay on a New England road trip. Prior guest reviews were accurate; David is a wonderful host and the cottage/cabin is relatively new and well-appointed. The backyard has a great view and ramble-tamble of the Pemigewasset River.

Nice owner. Well appointed space in a convenient location. Wish we were able to enjoy the backyard and access to the river more but we were only there for 2 days and hiking for most of it.

Dave was kind to us and told us plenty about the area that we could’ve done hadn’t it been for a wedding. Place was nice and had everything we needed. Really enjoyed the river and the rocks in the backyard.

Great location and peaceful with the river flowing in the back. Dave is very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short due to flooding at home.

The cabin was absolutely as described and David was great with a lot of info about the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

Arrived early due to mother's asthma attack when she needed to rest after using her inhaler. Owner entered while mom was sitting on couch yelling that we arrived early even though check in stated it was "self check in". He then informed us we need to leave and come back at 3pm check-in time. We explanied the sitiuation to him in which he was not understandable at all and stated that we still needed to leave because the cabin was ready by his standards. We told him it looked fine and we were told to still leave. We drove around for the next couple of hours waiting to come back to the cabin.

This is our second year staying at David’s NH property. We absolutely love the place. Quick 1.5mile trip to Loon Mountain and beautifully maintained inside and out. Waking up to the sound of the rushing river behind the house is relaxing and adds to what is always a perfect spot for skiing and snowboarding weekend. We look forward to our stay and his hospitality every winter!

Great location and place!

The stream out back is lovely and the cabin itself is nice, but its in a very cramped area of run down looking houses.

I couldn’t say enough great things about David! He was so heart warming and welcoming to our family! He felt like a part of the family when we met him. Not to mention just how cozy and clean the cabin was when we walked in. It felt like home! Highly suggest booking this place if you’re ever looking for a cozy little home for your vacation up in New Hampshire. Will definitely be back!! :)

We had a lovely weekend at Camp David. David was an excellent host that was very responsive to anything we needed. We would definitely return.

This was so amazing. Cleanliness was out standing. It had everything on sight. Just a beautiful place. The view out back was unbelievable. Can’t Waite to come in the summer to enjoy the River. The log cabin was just beautiful. I can’t say enough about it. And the welcome from the owner was outstanding. We had such a wonderful time. Thank you

Camp Dave is truly amazing for family stay. The stream next to the house is plus. I can imagine how beautiful it is during the summer time. It is close to loon mountain but not too noisy staying in those skiing lodge. Dave prepared everything we need and more in the cabin. We wish we could stay longer.

Camp David and Dave provided a wonderful NH getaway. Aside from the great location and cabin-life, Camp David provided a true NH getaway experience. We appreciated the small things: listening to classic CDs, checkers, puzzling and local NH literature. Dave is a great host providing local knowledge of the area, even including small welcoming candy, hot cocoa, etc. everything is covered here: cooking utensils, linens, soap, condiments, and rustic NH ambience. Awesome experience!

Great location and the sound of the river out back is tranquil.

Lovely little cabin, very clean with a gorgeous lake view. Lots of little touches made a great first impression and we certainly felt that David took care of his property and very much wanted his guests to be comfortable. Two suggestions: A larger sofa and a larger TV (perhaps mounted on the landing over the kitchen?). We had a lot of rain during our stay and found that there was really no way to watch a movie as both the sofa AND the TV are very small. Other than that, we would highly recommend this lovely spot on the River!!

It was very well kept and manager was very friendly. We enjoyed our time.

Camp David was perfect for the 2 of us as a getaway for our anniversary. Cozy, quaint, and comfy. The view of the river and trees out back is spectacular. David is gracious and so helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed and made some recommendations on hikes. We truly had a magical weekend in the White Mountains. If you are at all concerned with proximity to street, don't be! The River is literally a few steps out your back door and the sound is glorious. You can not hear the cars and you feel like you are in your own haven. The neighbors are quiet. We enjoyed coffee by the river each morning (we brought blankets but honestly there were plenty in the house we could have used) and we cooked in each night - the kitchen is well appointed and stocked with some condiments, spices, coffee and tea. We also were treated with hot cocoa and sparkling cider. It was just what we were looking for. Thank you for making our weekend one we won't forget. :)
