We really enjoyed the location but the house does need a little work. Just the small things because you wouldn’t expect broken lights or a fridge without some of the shelving for the price. Other than the small things, house was clean and the location incredible!

The house was amazing for our large group. Plenty of room for us all to spread out. Location to the public beach could not be beat! Loved that beach chairs and a wagon were available for us to use. Not too much to complain about. Communication was excellent!

We stayed with 13 girls, and it accommodate us PERFECTLY! Amazing location with the beach access RIGHT across the road! Property manager was super attentive for some changes and maintenance we needed. We would love to come back and use Compass Resorts again in the future!

The property was beautiful and well-cared for. The house had all of the amenities you needed to feel at home. We had one issue where the grill didn’t work, but the management company had someone out to fix it within 30 minutes. They were very responsive and courteous.The proximity to the beach was wonderful and made frequent visits to the water easy, even with kids! We all agree that we would stay there again.

We had a large group of 15 people staying in Destin and this property was incredible.. amazing pool, lots of common area space for socializing, and just STEPS away from the beach. The only downside was that the refrigerator never truly stayed cold, but it could’ve been our fault for overusing it. Would absolutely book here again.

This place was soo great! My friends and I had a lovely time. It was so spacious and clean. The private pool was such a hit but prob not as much of a hit as the beach being less than a 2 min walk. Also, we got to check in early which was so great and so accommodating of the hosts. I’d recommend this place over and over. Thank you so much for making our short yet amazing weekend one heck of a time!

2 grandmothers, parents, and grandsons 9 and 4. This place was perfect for us. Easy walk to the beach and we loved the pool. Very convenient to grocery and restaurants and all the things we decided to do. Did have an issue with our fridge not cooling, but it was handled while we were there, and a loaner was brought until while maintenance figured out the problem. Someone (not us) put the drawers in the wrong slots and the door wouldn’t close well. The house is roomy with lots of seating for hanging out and when had our meals there. Everyone was very impressed with the property and we would absolutely come and stay again.

The house can use some updating. One safety concern we had were the balcony railings. We had a toddler in our group and several of the banisters on the upper porch facing the backyard are rotted and very loose. If someone leans on it, it’s going to break. Our microwave stopped working but someone did come out with a countertop replacement the next day. The inside of the house seemed clean however the outside needs to be power washed badly. Pool tables in the backyard are rusty and falling apart. The pool shed did have a ton of chairs, floats, toys, etc which was very nice. We left more chairs as well as a small cooler for the next guests. The house is in a great location and within a very short distance from the beach!

Perfect location a block from the beach. The house has everything we needed. The beach cart and beach chairs worked great. Communication with Compass Resorts was 5 star. We’d definitely stay there again.

Beautiful House. It should be noted that there is major construction going on next door. Also:
*Need a new toaster. It burns the bottom of the bread and does not toast the top.
* The stove needs new knobs to tell the difference between high and low.
*Most of the windows seem to be stuck. We were only able to open 2.
*The 2 bikes tires are flat.
*Need new starter button on grill

We loved everything about this home! It was clean, kitchen well stocked with all the tools we needed (pots, pans, knives, blender, etc). Walking distance to the beach was not bad at all. The Tarpon beach access which is the closest access, doesn’t allow canopies or tents so we just used the next access one block to the right. They provided a beach cart so we were able to tote our items easily. They thought of everything! Thank you so much! We will DEFINITELY be staying here again.

Location, Location, Location
The rented property easily met the needs of our family of ten, ranging in age from 9-years-old to 77- years-old. The only minor disappointment of this rental was the check- in process that was easily corrected by conducting a chat on the rental website. Our younger guests thoroughly enjoyed the pool on the property. The beach was accessed by a short walk of one block. Beach chairs and water toys are available for the use of vacationers, elements not usually associated with vacation rentals. On trash day, a rental employee even moved trash containers to the curb and back to the property after pick-up.

A Way From it All
It’s very nice and convenient location: easy access to beautiful beach and near restaurants, shopping. The beaches were clean and nice with white sand. However, during our stay we couldn’t swim due to the rip current warning.

Perfection
This was our first time to vacation and everything was perfect. The house was clean and the customer service wonderful.
I wish the bit about paying for the pool to be heated had been clear from the beginning but it wasn’t a big issue for us.

Off season
Great location. We booked place for about 3 weeks. However we found ants and cockroaches the first day there. We gave rental company notice and they said they would take care of it. We handled situation ourself until they would send someone. They never came, we contacted them 3 times the first week. The manager finally called us to inform us they could only use 1 specific extermination company, and they weren't returning his phone calls. We checked out about 10 days into our trip. Overall, we think these issues were just not as highly prioritized because we had an off season stay but thats just our opinion.

We would definitely go back!
Awesome location and wonderful house! We had a minor problem with two blinds broken when we arrived and the WiFi didn’t work during our stay but management did reach out and compensated us for the problems! Definitely recommend this place and management company.

Amazing family vacation.
Our family had a wonderful week. Great house...FANTASTIC location. The property management company took the trash cans to the road for us and brought them back and came multiple times to clean the pool. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The house was perfect for our group of 9. We did have issues with the heated pool, but management sent maintenance out immediately after being notified. We were 30 seconds from the beach which was amazing and the 2 beach chairs that come with the house are so convenient!

Family Reunion
We had a wonderful time staying at 63 Tarpon Street. The house was amazing!! We haven’t seen each other in over nine months! The walk to the beach was so easy and the beach itself was beautiful! Barry, the property owner was exceptional! There were a few minor issues that he took care of immediately with courtesy and respect to us. The house itself is beautiful and we will be back!! I would recommend this property to all of my family and friends!

You can't beat the location. Owners are oddly very particular about makeup getting on towels, so make sure to bring plenty of wipes (they only offer 1). Also, only had 2 dishwasher tablets and very limited toilet paper. So an extra trip to the store was required. Cleanliness was pretty good, however we did see 2 roaches inside while there. Walk to the beach is great and the house is pretty updated.

Wonderful Home
We enjoyed every minute of this vacation! The house is fantastic with plenty of room for all of us to have our own bed. Plenty of bathrooms as well. We loved how close to the beach the property is located, very convenient! It’s so nice to have a private pool too!

Great location
This is our new favorite place to stay in Destin! It is so close to the beach, making an easy walk for anyone. The complimentary beach set up (2 chairs & umbrella) were a huge plus for my parents who did not need to carry all that to the beach! Pool was perfect and relaxing. Enough pool chairs for everyone to enjoy! The house was very nice and had everything we needed. We will definitely rent this house again! I have nothing bad to say! It was perfect!

Great location, easy beach access, cooking somewhat challenging older pots and pans, brand new grill(nice) needs a welcome card/sheet with WiFi password and specific instructions for thermostats and housekeeping upon departure. Great place overall

Our Destin Vacay
It was a wonderful house so close to the beach. Down the street from lots of restaurants and the boardwalk. Will definitely rent this place again. Very refreshing pool as well.

Great access to the beach and umbrella and chairs included helps a ton! Leave your kids sand toys at home there are more than enough in the pool shed. Great house, great beach, great trip! Just trying to figure out a time next year again.

Great House!
Very close to beach access and very clean. We stayed with another family (4 adults and 6 children). There were actual beds for everyone. It would sleep more than 10 but you would have to use the pull out couches. It was a great area and we enjoyed our stay. We could walk or ride our bikes to restaurants. We definitely rent again!

Destin 2019
This was the best family beach spring break trip! Celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with our kids and grandkids 🏖�😊�. The house was perfect, close to the beach and very well equipped for all of us! Having the pool was a plus as our youngest grandkids are not big ocean/beach kids yet! Working with the owners was very helpful! Great house!

Absolutely perfect for family or friends
This place checks every box. We traveled with our own two kids, and another family of 4. There was more than enough space and we even had an extra bedroom! The ability to walk a just down the street to the beach, come back anytime to enjoy the pool, to make a meal in the kitchen, or to grill in the backyard makes this place unbeatable. We will definitely be back. Destin is our favorite vacation spot, and this is the best place we've stayed! Thanks so much!

We love this vacation spot!
Great place to stay. Home sits close to the beach, within walking distance, and so close to restaurants and shopping. The home is well maintained, and very spacious. I have 5 grandkids, so the pool is especially nice if we get tired of the beach and sand. Great place to stay, you'll be glad you did. We go every year!
