Lovely, comfortable house in Umm Qais, great for a family wanting to be independent. The ruins and the nature reserve are short drives away and Umm Qais is a good base for exploring Jordan's north by car. There is an amazing view from the large roof terrace.

There were a lot of children from the neighbourhood playing outside until late and using the outside wall of the house as a goal for football. It was a little noisy for my daughter when she was trying to go to sleep.

We had the house to ourselves, clean and quiet. Two BR on main floor and two full BA. One BA on main floor and one a few steps down. Individual air-heat units kept the house comfortable (it was hot in Oct when we were there). Washing machine in kitchen. The house was being updated and did not effect our stay, but will possibly make it even nicer for future stays.

The shower stall in lower BA leaked, thus floor was wet. I was unable to open the drain and get the water off the floor.

The house was very comfortable, beds, sofas, all amenities were new and comfortable. Linen and towels nice. Air-conditioning was new and very good on a few very hot days. Kitchen facilities great. Cleanliness was exceptional. View from the rooftop and the space up there was so enjoyable! Very close to the site of the ruins but the feeling of being in the countryside. Just lovely.

Not a problem about the house itself but if you like to sleep before midnight, bring ear plugs as the neighborhood children love playing on the street outside the house and are very noisy.

Really clean, comfortable and owner was easy to contact and very nice housekeeper who let us in and out.

Great home with a nice rooftop for relaxing. Lots of new appliances for ease and comfort. We loved the location - easy access to things we wanted to see and do without the crowds. The living room with the bedoin-style couches is comfy and fun - great place to hang out after a long day of hiking.

We stayed for one night. The communication with our host was very good via Whatsapp. He wasn't there to greet us personally but send his lovely nephew and made sure everything was arranged over the phone. He was very open to help us. The house was nice and cozy.

I loved how clean, homey and near the tourist attraction it was.

Price, and i wish they would plant the outdoor area.
