Let me start this off by saying Ye is the best host!! The place is so nice and we loved the view overlooking the lake. There were pretty strong winds the last few days and we ended up losing internet :(. We were not able to get internet back and ended up ringing in the New Year next to the fire playing Yatzee, we could not have asked for a better start to our New Year even though the Internet went out and we never got it back it was still the best weekend. He made sure that we were safe and was in constant communication with me about getting the Internet back up and I know he did everything he could shy of going up the mountain and fixing it himself. 10/10 would stay again!!

It was a very comfortable cabin and a great first time experience. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, cups, pots, utensils, they even had a crock pot and rice cooker. I do warn you tho, there are a lot of stairs inside and out. Learn how to use the thermostat, it’s got cold at night.

We enjoyed staying at this property. We had everything that we needed to stay comfortable there. It was a plus having A/C there as well. The temperature during August is brutal. The kids loved the secret room. It took them a while to find it but once they did, they were in and out of that thing for the whole time we were there. I like the location and how you can see the lake directly from there. We will look forward to staying again!

The property was ok. We had some problems with ants in the kitchen. We were concerned with a fire in the area and smoke that prevented us from fishing. I called the owner and he never responded. It could have been an issue if there is a major fire. I do not know the protocols in the area. I should have gotten a response to give me some assurance that he is worried about my family's safety. I called and texted him but no response.

The property was a good size, in a good location (close to Lake Gregory, about 15 minutes from Lake Arrowhead Village). Nice view!

We just needed some fresh air, and a quick reset button pushed...a lovely cabin! Excellent host, and beautiful view! So happy with our stay!

The house was really comfortable and larger than the photos would lead you to believe. The kitchen is well stocked and all linens were immaculately clean. We ran into a small hiccup with an unexpected power outage (locals told us it happens with some frequency) and Ye was very quick to communicate with us and help us problem solve! It was a great stay and we look forward to visiting again!

This home has the feeling of a warm mountain cabin but is very spacious, with personal touches here and there. The listing is on point - the home was clean and prepped for guests. The owner, Ye, is so kind and communicated throughout the process! It was a quick getaway for my family and, for the first time, my granddaughter didn’t want to leave! The back yard is set up with children in mind, to explore and have fun in nature. We will definitely be back!

Rated 4 stars instead of 5 only because when I think of 5 stars, I think of luxury hotels. This place is great and I enjoyed my stay; now for the lengthy review... This property is spacious and is located a short drive from Lake Gregory (a couple of minutes). We spent 2 nights there in the spring and walked the lake trail, went fishing, and went on heart-rock hike. Other than that, it's a pretty small and sleepy lake town. The house is a good size and was very clean especially in the bedrooms and the bathrooms. The bathrooms also have bathing gel, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers so you don't need to bring your own. My bed was super comfortable and had a number of different pillows to choose from. My kids loved the bunk bed and the loft area (I didn't go up there because the ladder is only rated for 150lbs.) I would definitely stay here again, maybe next summer when the water slides are open. Negatives: This is super nit-picky, but there were a couple of surfaces in the common area that hadn't been dusted for a long time and there were a couple of soda cans in the planters outside. The town is pretty small so dining options are limited. Wifi in the house is awesome, cell network around the neighborhood is spotty, you may need a map. Overall this place is great (especially for the price). I'll likely stay here again.

My friends, family and my self were looking for a getaway from the regular schedule of life. Upon finding this place all the reviews said such great things about the host and the pictures were really clear and detailed. Let me just say the pictures don’t do it justice it’s such a nice and big place to stay. The kids found the hidden little room and they loved it. Waking up and going outside was so relaxing such a beautiful view to the lake. The location was great about 2-3 min from the lake and the local store. Being comfortable to communicate with the host was great kept in contact with me. The house was equipped with everything we needed from cooking supplies to things in the restroom. The backyard was good to just go outside and buoy nature. Overall the stay was great and I will be booking with them again and will share my experience with my other friends and family. Thank you Ye for letting us stay at your place and being an amazing host.

Our family loved this place. The beds were so comfy, the shower had nice showerheads, the view from the balcony was amazing and the kitchen had a cool stove. The layout was perfect. My teens took turns with their online classes in the loft and my dad had his own room and bathroom on the 1st level. We enjoyed the walk around the lake and the lack of crowds in the town. Ye was easy to communicate with and a great host. We will definitely be back.

Loved our stay here. On the first day we had a small problem with a broken shower handle in the upstairs bathroom. Ye replied immediately and then came up the next day to fix it! Our teen daughter loved the “secret room” The views are amazing. Also, loved the little town of Crestline. Want to come back. Hiked heart rock trail and took kids to the soda fountain inside the market in Crestline. Drove over to Big Bear too which is about an hour away and where we have stayed before, but we loved the less crowded quieter feel of staying in Crestline. Ye is an amazing host and the house is comfy with a nice kitchen(amazing large stove for cooking), comfortable living room with cozy couch& large screen tv, my husband loved. 🙂

Such a fun stay! Our hosts were very helpful and kind. The house was lovely, clean, and the decor was so fun. The view is incredible! I could sit on the balcony all day. The kids room was a special highlight with a secret loft that my son loved! Highly recommend this property. We will be back!!!

This location was great! Beautiful view of the lake and birds chirping all day ( which was what we came for to be in nature) and get away from the routine. The kids were all able to connect to online school (good reliable wifi). The Indoor space was just as described and very cozy. Ye, the host was quick to respond and very attentive. Their was no blender at the property and he sent his housekeeper to bring a blender within minutes of asking. Our family had a great relaxing time here. Watched movies and reconnected. The only down fall ( if any) are the many steps leading to the front door but it’s worth the exercise to experience the views. Thank You Ye!
